Earthquake Jolts AJK Mirpur, Adjoining Areas

Earthquake tremors were felt in Mirpur Azad Kashmir and adjoining areas on Sunday (7th March 2021).

According to the details, two tremors were felt in Mirpur. The first tremor was of mild nature while the intensity of the second tremor was high.

No casualties have been reported yet.

Earlier, a magnitude 3.9 earthquake shook Swat and its adjoining areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) here on Monday (15th Feb 2021).

According to Seismological Centre, the Hindu Kush mountain range was the epicenter of the quake. The tremors were felt in Mingora city and nearby areas.
