LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan is likely to approach the Supreme Court after the letter to the president to investigation against former army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa.

PTI sources said that Imran Khan will also request the Chief Justice of Pakistan to investigate against General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa.

According to sources, Imran Khan will demand an investigation against General (retd) Bajwa’s allegation that he is a danger to Pakistan.

Party sources say that PTI Chairman Imran Khan will also request an investigation into the allegation of clearing former finance minister Shaukat Tarin from NAB on behalf of General (retd) Qamar Bajwa.

Sources further said that consultation between Imran Khan and legal experts is underway after which PTI Chairman Imran Khan will approach the Supreme Court.

On the other hand, Imran Khan has sent a letter to the Supreme Commander of the Pakistan Army President Dr. Arif Alvi demanding an immediate investigation against General (Rtd) Qamar Javed Bajwa.

ISLAMABAD: Former army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa attended the wedding of ex-chief of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed’s daughter.

According to the media reports, Anusha Chaudhry, daughter of Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed, recently got married. The wedding ceremony was attended by many prominent personalities, politicians and journalists.

The ceremony was attended by former chief of army staff, former director general Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Saleem Bajwa, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and other military figures

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Logistics installations in Rawalpindi here on Wednesday (today).

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief was briefed regarding various facilities being developed and up-gradation of existing infrastructure.

COAS appreciated performance and commitment in the provision of top-class facilities and services.

He appreciated the indigenous development and maintenance program of diverse equipment and concept of one window operation for enhancing operational efficiency, added ISPR.

Earlier on arrival, he was received by Chief of Logistics Staff Lieutenant General Azhar Saleh Abbasi and Quarter Master General Lieutenant General Aamir Abbasi.

After the successful negotiation between the Hazara community and the government, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa will leave for Quetta after the burial of the Machh victims

According to the details, the Army Chief will not accompany the Prime Minister to Quetta and will go separately to meet the victims’ families.

After the negotiations, all the sit-ins protests were ended all across the country. Recently, Allama Hassan Naqvi had announced to end sit-ins protests across Karachi.

After the announcement of Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi in ​​Karachi, the participants of sit-ins protests from different places have started returning peacefully to their homes.

It should be mentioned here that several roads across Karachi were blocked while traffic jams ensued on major roads of the metropolis after protesters continued their sit-in against the Machh massacre for the sixth day.
