Anupam Kher posted a picture of himself and Alia Bhatt at the Mumbai reception for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani on Instagram on Monday. The seasoned actor posted a beautiful message beside their shot, in which the two smiled for the camera and Alia kept her hand on Anupam’s shoulder. When Alia was attending acting school, he recalls making fun of her for “being a born actor.” Some Instagram users who commented on his post featuring Alia claimed they were eager to watch Kangana Ranaut’s response to Anupam’s praise for Alia. Kangana has frequently made fun of or criticised Alia in public.

Anupam Kher’s caption read, “I love you, Alia Bhatt! At the wedding celebration for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, it was so nice to finally meet you. It was nice talking to you about the times you were in acting class and how I used to tease you about being a natural performer. Love the way you perform. In particular, Gangubai Kathiawadi. You were amazing. Carry on! Always send prayers and love!” Anupam is the owner of the Actor Prepares acting academy, which has trained a number of famous people, including Deepika Padukone and Varun Dhawan.

Soon, opinions about Kangana Ranaut dominated the comments section of Anupam’s post. Someone replied to his caption with, “Someone check whether Kangana is ok lol,” in response. Added one more, “I’m eager to see Kangana Ranaut’s response right away… You are the next victim, Anupam. Wait, if not this year, she’ll target you for sure.” Oh my God, Kangana would attack him too now that she is so envious of Alia, someone else said.

The friendship between Anupam and Kangana, who just worked together on the upcoming movie Emergency, is friendly; however, the same cannot be said for Kangana and Alia. Despite the fact that Alia has not publicly discussed Kangana much and has even commended her acting and talent in prior interviews, Kangana frequently makes direct and/or subtle jabs at Alia. Kangana recently shared a mysterious note about a Bollywood “casanova” and his wife, who she claimed were spying on her. Reddit users claim that Kangana made references to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. She continued by providing several information about their lives without mentioning either of them by name.

“I am certain my WhatsApp data is being leaked professional deals or even personal life details, this obsessed nepo mafia clown who once landed at my door step uninvited and forced himself on me is a known womaniser and casanova but now vice president of nepo mafia brigade as well, forces his wife to become producer, do more female-centric films, dress like me even make home interiors,” Kangana wrote in a series of posts on Instagram Stories earlier this month.

She continued, “I think he (the aforementioned casanova) is trying to isolate me and put me through mental stress. BTW, he keeps her on a separate floor, and they both live separately in the same building. I suggest she must refuse this arrangement and keep an eye on him… how is he getting all this information and what all is he indulging in because if he gets in trouble she and her baby will be in trouble as well. She must take control of her life and make sure Dear girl, I love you and your beautiful baby. Raha Kapoor was born to Alia and Ranbir in November 2022.
