Sophie Turner recently spoke out about her “incredibly sad” divorce from singer Joe Jonas, just weeks after both were officially declared single.
In a cover interview for a foreign magazine, the “Game of Thrones” star reflected on the end of their once-beautiful relationship, noting that it was a challenging time for both of them. “I’m going through a legal process right now where I can’t really say much, but it was incredibly sad,” she shared.
Turner, who moved back to England after the divorce, expressed how out of place she felt while living abroad. “It felt as if my life was on pause until I returned to England. I just never really feel like myself when I’m not in London, with my friends and family,” she explained. The couple, who began dating in 2016 and married twice in 2019, filed for divorce in September after four years of marriage.
In the aftermath, Turner filed for custody of their two daughters, Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, leading to a temporary custody agreement in October. Their divorce was finalized last month after a lengthy and contentious process, with the ex-spouses agreeing to a friendly co-parenting arrangement focused on the well-being of their children.
