Veteran Bollywood actors Anupam Kher and his wife, Kirron Kher, have stood the test of time, having been together for nearly four decades.

In a recent interview, Anupam shared the story of how their love story began, revealing that they were best friends for over a decade before falling in love. “We were best of friends for ten years before that,” Anupam said. “She was married, and I was ditched by a girl after three years of relationship with her, and she (Kirron) was going through a tough time in her marriage.”

Anupam recalled how their friendship turned into love and eventually marriage. He also shared the contrasting phases of their lives at the time: “She was a star already then. She was doing theatres, she was working in movies. She is an M.A. first class first. I met her in Chandigarh. I was a simple village boy. Apparently, there was no connection between us.”

The couple tied the knot in 1985 in an ashram in Gurgaon. “Before this, I was shooting for a film in Pune and I had reached (Gurgaon, for the wedding) a day prior,” Anupam added.

Both actors have made significant contributions to the film industry, with Anupam having appeared in over 540 films and Kirron winning two National Film Awards. Anupam’s latest release, Vijay 69, is currently streaming on Netflix.

Anupam Kher, taking a stroll down memory lane, shared several images originally posted by a fan page dedicated to Robert De Niro. Actor Anupam Kher is actively dedicating time to be with the daughter of his late friend, actor Satish Kaushik, aiming to alleviate the void in her life. He documents their interactions on social media, sharing anecdotes about her father. Kher acknowledges that, although he cannot replace Satish, he can offer her emotional support and also derive solace from their companionship.

Following the untimely passing of his close friend and fellow actor, Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher has been purposefully prioritizing spending time with Satish’s daughter, Vanshika. He frequently shares glimpses of their encounters on social media. He recognizes this endeavour as a way to fill the void in Vanshika’s life, while also addressing his own sense of loss.

“Even before Satish’s demise, I would often visit their home and engage in conversations with her. However, after his passing, I consciously make an effort to set aside time and genuinely invest in our interactions to ensure she feels the presence of a fatherly figure in her life,” Kher expresses. He adds, “I cannot replace Satish in her life; that role is irreplaceable. Yet, I can certainly offer her emotional strength. This is a mutual process; I, too, require strength as I’ve lost a part of myself. My bond with Satish was strong—he would call me daily. I miss him every single day. He was a consistent presence in my life.”

On the occasion of Friendship Day, the 68-year-old actor posted a photograph featuring himself alongside his closest companions, Anil Kapoor and Satish. In the caption, he wrote, “Missing Satish a little more today.”

Kher empathizes with the challenges that Kaushik’s daughter has encountered and recognizes her need for an outlet to express her emotions. “Vanshika experienced the loss of her father at a vulnerable age. I, too, have lost a dear friend. It’s important for her to understand her father’s essence as a person, colleague, friend, and actor. She might not be able to openly express her feelings within her immediate surroundings or to her mother, given her state of mind. Vanshika is a bright young girl. She requires a channel for her emotions. She deserves to know that her father was an exceptional individual. I share stories about her father that evoke laughter, and this brings her joy. While I cannot bring back Satish, I can spend time with his daughter, revisiting those moments or places we frequented together.”

Reflecting on Vanshika’s coping process, Kher discloses, “She has gradually begun to open up. Following Satish’s demise, she had become quite reserved. Presently, she enjoys discussing various topics. She shares details about her day, her friends, and other aspects of her life. This shift exudes positivity. Positivity holds contagious energy—ensuring the happiness and well-being of others is of utmost significance. My father used to say that the simplest thing in the world is to bring joy to someone. I simply put this into practice.”

Anupam expressed his shock at Satish Kaushik’s passing in a tweet earlier on Thursday. He shared a picture of the pair in black and white on Twitter. Along with it, Anupam had also added, “I am aware that the ultimate truth is death, but I never imagined having to write it about my best buddy Satish Kaushik. An abrupt end to a 45-year friendship. If you were not here, Satish, life would not be the same. Shanti Om.”

The Delhi Police have now stated that they are awaiting the thorough postmortem report in order to determine the precise cause of Satish Kaushik’s demise, according to a report from news agency ANI. The farmhouse in southwest Delhi where the party Satish attended before his death was organized was examined by a team from the Delhi Police, who found some’medicines’ there. A celebration was planned at an industrialist’s farmhouse, the news story claimed. Examining the guest list is the cops. An industrialist who is supposedly wanted in connection with a crime attended the gathering.

Anupam had earlier informed the news agency PTI that Satish had complained of feeling uneasy when at a friend’s house in Delhi. “He felt uncomfortable, so he asked the driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he suffered a heart attack around 1 am,” Anupam told PTI.

On March 7 in Bombay, lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar hosted the traditional Holi celebrations, and Satish’s last tweet on his Twitter account was a collection of images from those events. “Colored Joyful Fun Holi celebration at Janki Kutir Juhu by @Javedakhtarjadu @babaazmi @AzmiShabana @tanviazmi.. met the newlywed gorgeous couple @alifazal9 @RichaChadha… wishing Happy Holi to everyone,” he said.

Satish was most known for his parts in movies like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Mr. India, and Udta Punjab. He graduated from both the National School of Theatre and the Film and Television Institute of India. Satish, who was acclaimed for his comedic timing, was also a well-known filmmaker. Tere Naam and Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai are two of his most well-liked movies. He leaves behind his wife anddaughter.

Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik have been close friends for more than 45 years, and now Anupam Kher has written a heartfelt letter while also reflecting on an old memory.

In the old clip, Anupam Kher can be heard stating, “Producer ko khush karne ke liye dekho kya kya karna padta hai (Look what everything we have to do to make the producer happy)” while giving Satish Kaushik a head massage. He was wearing denims and a patterned shirt in the picture. Kartik posted the picture and said, “During my hardscrabble days in the city, I had the finest actor, best human being, and best landlord. I’ll never forget your humorous remarks and uplifting sentiments, sir. (Hands folded) RIP Satish Sir.”

In an interview with Humans of Bombay in 2019, Kartik discussed his difficulties in Mumbai. A portion of the Instagram post stated, “3–4 times every week, I would travel for 6 hours to attend auditions. Because I didn’t “look the part,” I would occasionally be turned down outside the studio. But I remained hopeful. I soon secured projects, such as a few seconds in an advertisement, and they supported me. Ultimately, 12 boys and I rented a home in Andheri. I was on a tight budget.”

Furthermore stated was “What I had thought was a possibility after 2.5 years of battle was now a reality. The opportunities were still few after Pyaar Ka Punchama. Before my third movie, I shared a flat with 12 boys.”

Satish, 67, passed away on Thursday in Delhi from a heart attack. About 8.30 p.m., the multifaceted artist’s funeral service was held at the Versova crematorium in front of his loved ones and close friends, including actors Anupam Kher and Ashok Pandit.

After a post-mortem at the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in Delhi, the actor’s body was transported to Mumbai and delivered to his home in the Versova neighborhood of Mumbai at about 6.30 p.m. David Dhawan, Subhash Ghai, Javed Akhtar, Anupam Kher, Salman Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Tabu, and Shilpa Shetty were just a few of the celebrities who paid a condolence visit to his home.

A number of celebrities paid their respects at his home, including Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar, Rakesh Roshan, Raj Babbar, Nadira, Boney Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Johnny Lever, Vikrant Massey, Saiyami Kher, Tanvi Azmi, Ishaan Khatter, Indra Kumar, Sham Kaushal, and Anu Malik.

Javed Akhtar, a lyricist, and other Satish’s Bollywood colleagues visited the late actor-Bombay filmmaker’s home to meet his family. A number of celebrities, including Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, and many others, were known to have a strong relationship and connection with the late actor. In an earlier interview, Satish had recounted how he had offered marriage to ‘best friend’ Neena Gupta ‘in her hour of need’.

Neena said in her autobiography published in June 2021 that Satish Kaushik had proposed marriage to her and reassured her that she wouldn’t have to worry if her unborn kid had dark skin: “Just say it’s mine, and we’ll get married. Nobody will have any suspicions. Satish Kaushik claimed to have known Neena since 1975 and to have had a close friendship with her when he spoke to the Bombay Times in 2021. He claimed that his desire to marry her stemmed from his friendship with her.

“I used to respect a girl’s decision to bear an unmarried child at that time. I simply supported her and gave her confidence since I am a good friend. It was all an indication of my love for her as a friend, no matter what you read in the memoir. I was anxious to keep her from feeling isolated. That is ultimately what friends are for, right? I proposed to marry her out of humor, compassion, respect, and support for my closest friend at a difficult moment, as is mentioned in the book,” Satish had said in the interview.

Neena Gupta expressed her sorrow over Satish Kaushik, a co-star in the movie Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, passing away on Thursday. She released an emotional video on Instagram in which she spoke about ‘waking up to a really tragic news’. In Hindi, she uttered, “I used to call him Kaushikan, and he was the only one in the entire world who called me Nancy. No matter how frequently we met or not, our friendship dates back to our time in college. He is no longer here. It’s terribly sad and frightful.”

Satish Kaushik, an actor and director, published his final tweet on Twitter on Holi and passed away at age 67. Satish shared numerous images on the social media website on Tuesday as he celebrated the event with his buddies from the Hindi film business. Satish attended the Holi celebration that lyricist Javed Akhtar and his actress wife Shabana Azmi held.
In the photos, Satish appeared alongside Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Mahima Chaudhry, and Javed. In the pictures, Satish was wearing a white T-shirt and orange jeans. In addition, he had on dark shades. While posing for the photos, Satish grinned. He was observed wearing colorful clothing and makeup.

Anupam Kher, an actor, tweeted the sad news of Satish’s passing early on Thursday. He noted: “Death is the absolute fact of this world, I am aware of this. But, I never imagined that I would write this article on my best friend #SatishKaushik while he was still alive. Such an abrupt goodbye to a 45-year friendship! Life without you Satish will never be the same! Prana Shanti!”

On Twitter, actress Kangana Ranaut posted an old photo of herself and Satish. She wrote as her caption: “A very successful actor and director, #SatishKaushik ji was also a very lovely and sincere man; I enjoyed working with him on Emergency. I woke up to this terrible news. He was my biggest supporter. Om Shanti, he will be sorely missed.”

Reposting a tweet regarding Satish’s passing, actor Manoj Bajpayee remarked, “Completely surprised to read this! What a tragic loss for his family and for all of us! Best wishes to his family and friends! Satish Bhai, may you rest in peace!

His directorial projects Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja (1993) and Prem (1995) were backed by Boney Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
He had no regrets and insisted they had no agenda against him.

At the age of 67, Satish Kaushik passed away. Anupam Kher, an actor and a friend, announced the news on Twitter. In a 2014 interview, the actor, director, producer, comedian, and screenwriter discussed actor Anil Kapoor and film producer Boney Kapoor, saying that working with them taught him that “relationships are worth more than success or money.” He has directed movies like Tere Naam (2003) and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000).

The two Boney Kapoor-backed films that Satish directed, Prem (1995) and Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja (1993), both failed to turn out as he had hoped. Insisting that Boney and Anil ‘didn’t have any agenda against’ him despite the fact that they were allegedly to blame for the production delays of Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja and Prem, he claimed that he had no regrets and that he had no regrets at all.

Satish Kaushik, an actor and filmmaker, passed away early on Thursday morning after suffering a heart attack, according to actor Anupam Kher. Anupam claimed that Satish was in Delhi prior to his untimely demise, citing a recent report.
Anupam expressed his shock at Satish Kaushik’s passing in a tweet earlier on Thursday. He shared a picture of the pair in black and white on Twitter. Anupam wrote in the caption, “I am aware that the ultimate truth is death, but I never imagined having to write it about my best buddy Satish Kaushik. An abrupt end to a 45-year friendship. If you were not here, Satish, life would not be the same. Shanti Om.”

Anupam informed the news agency PTI that Satish complained of being uneasy while he was at a friend’s house in Delhi. Anupam told PTI that the man felt uneasy and asked the driver to take him to the hospital, but while on the way, he had a heart attack.

According to the news agency ANI, Satish’s postmortem will take place on Thursday at Delhi’s Deen Dayal Hospital. His body was brought to the hospital at 5.30 am, according to the report, and has been kept there since. Around 11 a.m., his postmortem will be completed, and his body will then be transported to Mumbai.

A photo of Ashoke Pandit and Satish was also posted on Twitter. He noted: “Can this really be true? I’m shocked and saddened to learn that my close friend @satishkaushik2 has passed away after having a heart attack in Delhi. The Final Show was my final movie with him. The list of Kangana Ranaut’s favorite movies was posted on Twitter. The actor was retweeting a user who had posted his own list on Twitter. On Tuesday, Kangana celebrated nine years since the release of her movie Queen, yet she only named one Hindi film as her favorite. And it was none other than Pyaasa, a 1957 cult favorite from Guru Dutt.
When Kangana shared the list, she commented, “My favorite eight movies, watch them if you haven’t already. Two films: The Shawshank Redemption and Amadeus No. 3 American Beauty Pyaasa 4) 5) Amour Six) The Seven-Year Itch Interstellar 7) The Notebook (8).
