Satish Kaushik, an actor and filmmaker, passed away on Thursday after suffering a heart attack, according to actor Anupam Kher. To determine the precise reason of his death, the Delhi Police have now stated in a statement that they are awaiting the thorough postmortem report.

Anupam expressed his shock at Satish Kaushik’s passing in a tweet earlier on Thursday. He shared a picture of the pair in black and white on Twitter. Along with it, Anupam had also added, “I am aware that the ultimate truth is death, but I never imagined having to write it about my best buddy Satish Kaushik. An abrupt end to a 45-year friendship. If you were not here, Satish, life would not be the same. Shanti Om.”

The Delhi Police have now stated that they are awaiting the thorough postmortem report in order to determine the precise cause of Satish Kaushik’s demise, according to a report from news agency ANI. The farmhouse in southwest Delhi where the party Satish attended before his death was organized was examined by a team from the Delhi Police, who found some’medicines’ there. A celebration was planned at an industrialist’s farmhouse, the news story claimed. Examining the guest list is the cops. An industrialist who is supposedly wanted in connection with a crime attended the gathering.

Anupam had earlier informed the news agency PTI that Satish had complained of feeling uneasy when at a friend’s house in Delhi. “He felt uncomfortable, so he asked the driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he suffered a heart attack around 1 am,” Anupam told PTI.

On March 7 in Bombay, lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar hosted the traditional Holi celebrations, and Satish’s last tweet on his Twitter account was a collection of images from those events. “Colored Joyful Fun Holi celebration at Janki Kutir Juhu by @Javedakhtarjadu @babaazmi @AzmiShabana @tanviazmi.. met the newlywed gorgeous couple @alifazal9 @RichaChadha… wishing Happy Holi to everyone,” he said.

Satish was most known for his parts in movies like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Mr. India, and Udta Punjab. He graduated from both the National School of Theatre and the Film and Television Institute of India. Satish, who was acclaimed for his comedic timing, was also a well-known filmmaker. Tere Naam and Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai are two of his most well-liked movies. He leaves behind his wife anddaughter.
