Anupam Kher Expresses Heartfelt Emotions For Satish’s Daughter

Anupam Kher

Actor Anupam Kher is actively dedicating time to be with the daughter of his late friend, actor Satish Kaushik, aiming to alleviate the void in her life. He documents their interactions on social media, sharing anecdotes about her father. Kher acknowledges that, although he cannot replace Satish, he can offer her emotional support and also derive solace from their companionship.

Following the untimely passing of his close friend and fellow actor, Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher has been purposefully prioritizing spending time with Satish’s daughter, Vanshika. He frequently shares glimpses of their encounters on social media. He recognizes this endeavour as a way to fill the void in Vanshika’s life, while also addressing his own sense of loss.

“Even before Satish’s demise, I would often visit their home and engage in conversations with her. However, after his passing, I consciously make an effort to set aside time and genuinely invest in our interactions to ensure she feels the presence of a fatherly figure in her life,” Kher expresses. He adds, “I cannot replace Satish in her life; that role is irreplaceable. Yet, I can certainly offer her emotional strength. This is a mutual process; I, too, require strength as I’ve lost a part of myself. My bond with Satish was strong—he would call me daily. I miss him every single day. He was a consistent presence in my life.”

On the occasion of Friendship Day, the 68-year-old actor posted a photograph featuring himself alongside his closest companions, Anil Kapoor and Satish. In the caption, he wrote, “Missing Satish a little more today.”

Kher empathizes with the challenges that Kaushik’s daughter has encountered and recognizes her need for an outlet to express her emotions. “Vanshika experienced the loss of her father at a vulnerable age. I, too, have lost a dear friend. It’s important for her to understand her father’s essence as a person, colleague, friend, and actor. She might not be able to openly express her feelings within her immediate surroundings or to her mother, given her state of mind. Vanshika is a bright young girl. She requires a channel for her emotions. She deserves to know that her father was an exceptional individual. I share stories about her father that evoke laughter, and this brings her joy. While I cannot bring back Satish, I can spend time with his daughter, revisiting those moments or places we frequented together.”

Reflecting on Vanshika’s coping process, Kher discloses, “She has gradually begun to open up. Following Satish’s demise, she had become quite reserved. Presently, she enjoys discussing various topics. She shares details about her day, her friends, and other aspects of her life. This shift exudes positivity. Positivity holds contagious energy—ensuring the happiness and well-being of others is of utmost significance. My father used to say that the simplest thing in the world is to bring joy to someone. I simply put this into practice.”

The second wife of businessman Vikas Malu, who ignored a Monday summons to appear for questioning in relation to the death of veteran actor and director Satish Kaushik, will receive a supplementary notice, the Delhi Police announced. She was summoned for questioning on Monday at 11 a.m., but she did not show up, according to the police.

The accounts of between 25 and 30 visitors and employees who were present at Malu’s farmhouse the night Satish Kaushik died have so far been recorded, according to the police, and nothing untoward has been discovered. “According to the autopsy report, Kaushik passed away following a heart arrest. We are also anticipating reports from the Forensic Science Laboratory and other sources that could provide additional insight. The deceased’s (Satish Kaushik’s) family has not expressed any concerns of wrongdoing “a policeman stated.

The blood and other samples, he continued, had been transferred to the forensic laboratory in Rohini, Delhi, for analysis. The samples have been received, according to FSL authorities, and reports will be released soon. A FSL representative added, “The blood test would reveal whether he was under the influence of anything, and the stomach test would look for any substances. The Delhi Police will shortly receive the reports.”

Earlier, on Monday, Malu’s second wife said she won’t assist in the probe until the investigating officer, who she accused of having a “suspicious involvement” in the matter, is changed. “Whereas the undersigned is looking into the complaint you made on March 11th, 2023. There are legitimate reasons to investigate you in order to learn the facts and circumstances surrounding the investigation of the aforementioned complaint. You are therefore asked to participate in the investigation before the undersigned on Wednesday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at your house or another location that is convenient for you “According to a notice from the Delhi Police.

Rajendra Chhabra stated to ANI, “The inspector’s role, which oversees the entirety of the probe, is already being scrutinized. My client (the wife of Vikas Malu) won’t participate in the investigation unless the inspector is replaced.”

The attorney claimed that they also contacted the Delhi Police Commissioner through email about the situation and the inspector’s “suspicious” role. “The same inspector was looking into the woman’s charges of rape against her husband Vikas Malu. Due to allegations that he tampered with the evidence, he was removed from the investigation. It is strange that the same inspector has been assigned to the investigation once more following my client’s complaint “Chhabra tacked on.

Ssumier S Pasricha recalls Satish Kaushik as follows: I would never move to Mumbai or pursue acting

Satish Kaushik
  • Satish Kaushik’s sudden demise has left many in the film fraternity in shock.
  • Actor-singer Ssumier S Pasricha recalls how Kaushik encouraged him to become an actor.
  • Ssumier S Pasricha emotionally shares that had Kaushik not shown faith in him.

The abrupt death of Satish Kaushik on Wednesday morning shocked a number of people in the film community. Ssumier S Pasricha, an actor and singer, recalls his friendship with the veteran and tells with emotion how Kaushik’s belief in him prevented him from becoming a professional actor.

He wrote in his tweet, “This is disturbing… Satish ji is the sole reason I arrived in Mumbai and integrated into this society. He will always have my gratitude.

Pasricha now recounts how Kaushik was the inspiration in his life in an exclusive conversation. “Satish Kaushik ji first noticed me while I was performing in a play with Shekhar Kapoor in Delhi, and he immediately told me I was outstanding. Why are you squandering time in Delhi. You have to visit Mumbai. I am the madad karunga,'”

This occurred in the beginning of 2009, and a few months later Pasricha made the decision to follow Kaushik’s counsel and go for Mumbai. As I didn’t know anyone in the city when I arrived and Kaushik welcomed me with open arms, I called him right away. He assisted me in getting in touch with his manager, who set up several auditions for me. As a result, I was able to  got my first film Hum Tum Shaba. The film did not do great but I got the opportunity and a way to look forward to because of Satish sir,” shares the Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (2021) actor.

Pasricha continues by highlighting Kaushik’s great character traits in addition to his artistic talent. “Aaj kal aapke dost aapki madad nahi krte and Satish sir did so much for a stranger who he saw randomly,” the author writes. I owe him everything I am now, including the courage he gave me. Had he not displayed that trust in me, I never would have traveled to Mumbai or chosen to become an actress. He made me into who I am today, he tells us.

After carving out a niche for herself in the business, Pasricha reconnected with Kaushik at an awards ceremony. In 2016, I was the event’s host. And as he (Kaushik) entered, I said, “Sir, I am your fan,” to which he responded.

Satish Kaushik, an actor and filmmaker, passed away on Thursday after suffering a heart attack, according to actor Anupam Kher. To determine the precise reason of his death, the Delhi Police have now stated in a statement that they are awaiting the thorough postmortem report.

Anupam expressed his shock at Satish Kaushik’s passing in a tweet earlier on Thursday. He shared a picture of the pair in black and white on Twitter. Along with it, Anupam had also added, “I am aware that the ultimate truth is death, but I never imagined having to write it about my best buddy Satish Kaushik. An abrupt end to a 45-year friendship. If you were not here, Satish, life would not be the same. Shanti Om.”

The Delhi Police have now stated that they are awaiting the thorough postmortem report in order to determine the precise cause of Satish Kaushik’s demise, according to a report from news agency ANI. The farmhouse in southwest Delhi where the party Satish attended before his death was organized was examined by a team from the Delhi Police, who found some’medicines’ there. A celebration was planned at an industrialist’s farmhouse, the news story claimed. Examining the guest list is the cops. An industrialist who is supposedly wanted in connection with a crime attended the gathering.

Anupam had earlier informed the news agency PTI that Satish had complained of feeling uneasy when at a friend’s house in Delhi. “He felt uncomfortable, so he asked the driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he suffered a heart attack around 1 am,” Anupam told PTI.

On March 7 in Bombay, lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar hosted the traditional Holi celebrations, and Satish’s last tweet on his Twitter account was a collection of images from those events. “Colored Joyful Fun Holi celebration at Janki Kutir Juhu by @Javedakhtarjadu @babaazmi @AzmiShabana @tanviazmi.. met the newlywed gorgeous couple @alifazal9 @RichaChadha… wishing Happy Holi to everyone,” he said.

Govinda repeats Satish Kaushik’s famous Pappu Pager moment in Deewana Mastana

Govinda & Satish Kaushik
  • Govinda remembered actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik as a great artis.
  • Who improvised before his scenes and wrote his own dialogues.
  • Their most famous scene from Deewana Mastana (1997) was Pappu Pager, a contract killer.

Govinda recalled Satish Kaushik, an actor and filmmaker, as someone who wrote a lot of his own lines before his roles to add humor. After having a heart attack in Delhi on March 9 at the age of 67, Satish passed away in Mumbai the same day. Govinda remembered how one of their most well-known scenes from Deewana Mastana (1997) came to be. Govinda and Satish’s on-screen chemistry was the highlight of many of their comedies in the 1990s and the early 2000s.

Satish Kaushik was a fantastic artist, according to Govinda, who worked with him on numerous movies including Saajan Chale Sasural, Deewana Mastana, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Pardesi Babu, Aunty No. 1, and Haseena Maan Jaayegi. Pappu Pager, a contract killer from the Govinda-Satish movie Deewana Mastana, was one of their most well-known actors. David Dhawan’s 1997 romantic comedy, which starred Govinda, Anil Kapoor, and Juhi Chawla, had them all in pivotal roles.

Govinda discussed how the sequence with his character Bunnu and Satish Kaushik’s Pappu Pager, whom he hires to assassinate his romantic rival Raja (Anil Kapoor), has a separate fan base in an interview with news agency PTI. Satish, who was holding a pager and sporting a floral blouse, stood out from the crowd thanks to his rhyme-filled “tapori” language. Govinda recalled the creation of that sequence and stated, “For Deewana Mastana, when I walked to the set, he had already written (some lines). We worked on the language of Nagpada (a popular neighborhood in South Mumbai), where there is a “na” in every word, and the result was a scene that was a tremendous smash and is still remembered by fans. In that scene, my partner and I collaborated.

Govinda, who is currently in Jaipur, continued by saying he was unable to cope with the tragic passing of his friend and coworker Satish Kaushik. There are several artists who operate in the “maahul (environment)” of film. Nonetheless, he was an actor who, through pure effort, could make any character memorable. He would fully immerse himself in that world and adopt that persona. Although there are numerous actors that perform excellent roles, how many of the characters live on throughout history? The characters Satish Kaushik portrayed are legendary; people still think of them today and will continue to do so forever, according to Govinda.

According to the news agency ANI, Satish Kaushik was cremated on Thursday evening in Oshiwara, Mumbai. Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ishaan Khatter, Shehnaaz Gill, and many other Bollywood celebrities paid their tributes at Satish Kaushik’s Mumbai home after learning of the actor-passing director’s in Delhi. Both Satish’s wife and daughter have survived him.

Satish Kaushik reflected on his entry into Mumbai

Satish Kaushik
  • Satish Kaushik, a 66-year-old actor, screenwriter and director, died in Delhi due to a heart attack.
  • He had recalled the day he came to Mumbai to make it as an actor, sharing a photo of himself against a train.
  • Several members of the Indian film industry have commented on his journey.

Satish Kaushik passed away on Thursday after suffering a heart attack in Delhi. Originally from Haryana, the 66-year-old actor, screenwriter, and director also attended college in Delhi and received his degree from the National School of Theatre in the nation’s capital. Thereafter, he enrolled at Pune’s Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). In a widely circulated tweet from 2020, the late actor remembered the day he arrived in Mumbai to pursue his dream of being an actor.

Satish recounted at the time that he had shared a black and white photograph of himself next to a train, “On August 9th, 1979, I took the Paschim Express to Mumbai to train as an actor. Mumbai had its first dawn on August 10. Mumbai provided me work, friends, a wife, kids, and a home, as well as warmth, love, and the courage to live happily. Hello Mumbai and everyone who has given me more than I could have imagined. Thx.” He has since received comments from several members of the Indian cinema business, including Shekhar Kapur, Urmila Matondkar, Tusshar Kapoor, and Pratik Gandhi, among others.

Actress Celina Jaitly posted the same 2020 photograph of Satish in Mumbai after hearing of his passing on Thursday. She wrote, “Since then, he has been an essential part of Indian cinema; Mr. India without Calendar, Bollywood without #tereNaam is unthinkable. Kuch arsey pehle @satishkaushik2 ji had posted this modest photo of his arrival on the first morning in Mumbai. Peace be with you, Sir, and thanks for being YOU!”

In addition to writing dialogue for Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro (1983) and serving as the assistant director of Shekhar’s Mr. India, Satish originally moved to Bombay with the intention of becoming an actor (1987). He played the part of “Calendar” in the Hindi movie, which would go on to become one of his most well-known performances. The actor had previously discussed his first time in front of the camera in 2019. In an interview with Indian Express, he said, “My first acting project in Mumbai was Naseeruddin [Shah] and Smita Patil’s Chakra. Satish Kaushik, who played the role, was extremely lanky and skinny. That movie had a huge audience. I took on the role of one of the wild boys in the neighborhood. Once I’d given my first shot, Rajkumar Santoshi (first AD) came to me and said ‘good actor yaar’. I said thank God at least someone said that!”

Kaagaz (2021), directed by Satish, featured Pankaj Tripathi in the title role. He last appeared in the January Zee5 Chhatriwali. He finished filming the politician Jagjivan Ram scene for Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency.

Anupam Kher, an actor and Satish Kaushik’s friend, shared the news on Twitter on March 9 after Satish Kaushik passed away in Delhi at the age of 67 after a heart attack. Javed Akhtar, a lyricist, and other Satish’s Bollywood colleagues visited the late actor-Bombay filmmaker’s home to meet his family. A number of celebrities, including Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, and many others, were known to have a strong relationship and connection with the late actor. In an earlier interview, Satish had recounted how he had offered marriage to ‘best friend’ Neena Gupta ‘in her hour of need’.

Neena said in her autobiography published in June 2021 that Satish Kaushik had proposed marriage to her and reassured her that she wouldn’t have to worry if her unborn kid had dark skin: “Just say it’s mine, and we’ll get married. Nobody will have any suspicions. Satish Kaushik claimed to have known Neena since 1975 and to have had a close friendship with her when he spoke to the Bombay Times in 2021. He claimed that his desire to marry her stemmed from his friendship with her.

“I used to respect a girl’s decision to bear an unmarried child at that time. I simply supported her and gave her confidence since I am a good friend. It was all an indication of my love for her as a friend, no matter what you read in the memoir. I was anxious to keep her from feeling isolated. That is ultimately what friends are for, right? I proposed to marry her out of humor, compassion, respect, and support for my closest friend at a difficult moment, as is mentioned in the book,” Satish had said in the interview.
