Boney Kapoor responded to allegations that he murdered his wife, famous Bollywood actress Sridevi, by saying that he received a clean chit from Dubai police.

The acclaimed Bollywood producer talked up for the first time about his wife’s terrible passing in an exclusive interview.

“It was not a natural death; it was an accidental death,” Kapoor admitted.

During the interview, the 67-year-old recalled his never-ending grilling as he was accused of being implicated in Sridevi’s death by Indian media.

“I had made the decision not to speak about it because I had spoken about it for nearly 24 or 48 hours when I was being investigated and interrogated.” “That’s how I got a clean bill of health from the Dubai police,” he added.

During the Dubai police investigation into her death, the father-of-four stated he was subjected to a battery of examinations, including a lie detector test.

“I went through all of the tests, including lie detector tests and everything else.” “Of course, the report that came clearly stated it was accidental death by drowning,” the producer added.

According to rumours, the acclaimed Bollywood actress died in 2018 after drowning in a bathtub at a Dubai hotel.

Adnan Siddiqui Talks About The Airing Of MPTH In India

Acclaimed actor Adnan Siddiqui recently had a conversation with an Indian publication, where he discussed the factors that contribute to the widespread appeal of Pakistani dramas, the impact of the India-Pakistan divide on artists, and the popularity of his hit show, Meray Paas Tum Ho, airing in India.

When asked about his feelings regarding the show being broadcasted in India, Siddiqui expressed, “It feels like someone is going to watch it in my neighbouring country as well! It already has that fame, where it has gone across the border. It will be a good recall for people to watch the show again. Now it is officially going to be with Zindagi, which will be different as earlier they would be watching the show on different platforms like YouTube.”

Reflecting on the fan-following of Pakistani shows in India, Siddiqui shared a personal experience during the filming of the movie “Mom” in 2017. He narrated, “I went to eat somewhere in old Delhi. Boney Kapoor (producer of Mom) told me that I should go with security because people may know me, but I thought who would know me here? So, I went to that place and the kind of fan following I received was a great shock for me. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I had to call Boney to get me some security, to get out of there. I have always mentioned that our TV shows are like Bollywood films, and our films are like Indian TV shows,” remarked the actor.

Regarding the distinctive essence of Pakistani dramas, Siddiqui responded, “I can pose the same question to you – how are Indian movies so well made? Why is the romance and everything so perfect? I guess, our forte is TV, which is the biggest medium in Pakistan. We have bigger writers and actors than films. In the early 70s and 80s, our shows were known all over the world. Our shows are watched in India and Indian movies are watched here. Indian actors are household names in Pakistan. I think my simple answer would be that we have been trained in such a way, that we are automatically bound to some classical shows.”

Previously, Adnan Siddiqui worked in the Indian movie ‘Mom’ alongside veteran actress late Sri Devi and Pakistani actress Sajal Aly. He has also worked on a Hollywood project ‘A Mighty Heart’ alongside Indian actor late Irfan Khan.

In her most recent Instagram post, Anshula Kapoor surprised everyone with her new look. Anhsula, who is Boney Kapoor’s daughter and the sister of actor Arjun Kapoor, shared a few pictures of herself in a black bodysuit. In the caption, she said that she used to be nervous about trying on bodysuits, but now she is “able to try everything I never let myself explore before” and has fun doing it. On Anshula’s post, Janhvi Kapoor, Orry Awatramani, Rhea Kapoor, and Shanaya Kapoor, among others, commented. Anshula posted a few photos of herself sitting on the ground in a black bodysuit with her curls untied. She posted a photo of a quote by Bridgett Devoue with the caption, “Imagine all the things we could be if we weren’t controlled by insecurity,” in the final image. At the age of 67, Satish Kaushik passed away. Anupam Kher, an actor and a friend, announced the news on Twitter. In a 2014 interview, the actor, director, producer, comedian, and screenwriter discussed actor Anil Kapoor and film producer Boney Kapoor, saying that working with them taught him that “relationships are worth more than success or money.” He has directed movies like Tere Naam (2003) and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000).

On the eve of the anniversary of Sridevi’s passing, Boney Kapoor reminisced about her. The iconic star passed away on February 24 of that year. He released private photos of them that had never been seen before, candid photos, and even a video from an event when he talked about falling in love with her on Instagram.
Boney shared a black and white photo of Sridevi wearing a traditional outfit and remarked, “My first picture was 1984.” Boney posted a another image of Sridevi kissing him on the cheek and captioned it, “Just expressing.” Boney published a secret photo of the two of them kissing at home on Instagram Stories along with the caption, “Home.” “Shy and reclusive at the moment she found love.”

Boney has been remembering Sridevi five years after her passing by posting photos of her online recently. “You left us five years ago. Your love and memories will keep us going and will remain with us forever,” he had written under a straightforward image of the actor.

A few days ago, Janhvi Kapoor also uploaded a photo of herself and Sridevi attending an event and sitting in the crowd. “I still seek for you everywhere, Mumma. I still do everything in the hopes of making you proud,” she wrote as the caption. You are the beginning and the conclusion of everything I do and wherever I go.

After attending a family wedding, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor checked into a hotel in Dubai, where Sridevi drowned in a bathtub. Boney had said during an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show about her untimely death at the age of 54: “When she passed away, when I was in Dubai for those 3–4 days, I had so much of an urge because I was all alone in distress, tension, anxiety, and all those things; that was the only time I felt like smoking. But after that, I confessed, I wanted to smoke as soon as she left. I won’t if I actually love her. So I refrained then, and I haven’t touched since. I’ve never felt the need, too.

Boney Kapoor, Sridevi’s husband, and her two daughters Janhvi and Khushi are all still alive. Khushi will make her screen debut this year with the movie The Archies, but Janhvi’s first movie, Dhadak, came out months after she passed away.
