Anupam responds to Prakash Raj’s criticism of The Kashmir Files as a “nonsense film”

Prakash Raj
  • Anupam Kher recently addressed Prakash Raj’s ‘one of the nonsense films’ comment on The Kashmir Files.
  • Anupam Kher addressed Prakash Raj’s ‘one of the nonsense films’ comment, saying some people have to live life with lies.
  • Anupam in the lead role alongside Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty and Darshan Kumaar among others.

Anupam Kher, an actor, recently responded to Prakash Raj’s remark that The Kashmir Files was “one of the nonsensical films.” Anupam played the major role in the Vivek Agnihotri-directed movie opposite Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty, and Darshan Kumaar, among others. Regarding Prakash’s opinions about the movie, Anupam stated that some people are forced to live their lives through deceit.

The Kashmir Files, which was published last year, continues to stir up debates concerning its plot. It draws attention to the 1990s exodus of Hindus from Kashmir. Zee Studios is the producer, and Vivek and Saurabh M. Pandey wrote the script together.

Anupam Kher responded in an interview to Prakash’s recent criticism of the movie. He said, “Apni apni aukat ki baat karte hain log,” to Navbharat Times. Kuch log zindagi bhar sach bolte hain, kuch logon ko zindagi bhar jhooth bolna padta hai. Zindagi bhar sach bol ke zindagi jiyein hain is main un logon mein se hoon. Uski marzi hai, jhooth bol ke jeena hai. According to their status, people speak. While some people must lie their entire lives, others always tell the truth. I count myself among those who have always spoken the truth. (Those who choose to survive off of lying may do so.)

Prakash had previously called The Kashmir Files a “propaganda film.” He added during a gathering in Kerala, “One of the absurd movies is The Kashmir Files, but we know who made it. Shameless. A jury from abroad spat on them. They continue to be shameless. The filmmaker, the other person, is still asking, “Why am I not getting an Oscar?” He won’t even be awarded a Bhaskar.”

“The reason I’m telling you is that there is sensitive media out there. You can make a propaganda movie here. I’m aware that they spent close to 2000 crore, based on my sources, just to produce movies like this. But you can’t always trick people, he had said.

Several Indian movies were among the 301 movies that qualified for the 95th Academy Awards. Although it was originally chosen for the list, The Kashmir Files was passed over in favor of movies like Gangubai Kathiawadi and Kantara. Prior to that, during the closing ceremony of the 53rd International Film Festival of India, Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid made a comment regarding The Kashmir Files. He referred to it as “vulgar” and “propaganda,” which the production crew found offensive.

Prakash Raj dismisses The Kashmir Files as rubbish

Prakash Raj
  • Prakash Raj has criticised The Kashmir Files, calling it ‘nonsense’ and ‘propaganda’.
  • Prakash also called out the film’s director Vivek Agnihotri.
  • He also claimed that The Kashmir Files is a ‘propaganda film’.

The Kashmir Files has received harsh criticism from actor Prakash Raj, who referred to it as “one of the stupid flicks.” At a recent event, Prakash also criticized the movie’s director, Vivek Agnihotri, and referred to the movie’s producer as “shameless.” The Kashmir Files, he added, is a “propaganda movie.”

Actor Prakash Raj has harshly criticized The Kashmir Files, calling it “one of the worst flicks.” At a recent event, Prakash also disparaged the film’s producer and called the filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri “shameless.” He continued by calling The Kashmir Files a “propaganda film.”

Last weekend in Kerala, Prakash spoke at the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters. In attendance, Prakash said: “One of the absurd movies is The Kashmir Files, but we know who made it. Shameless. A jury from abroad spat on them. They continue to be shameless. The filmmaker, the other person, is still asking, “Why am I not getting an Oscar?” He won’t even be awarded a Bhaskar.”

I tell you because there is a sensitive media out there, he continued. You can make a propaganda movie here. I’m aware that they spent close to 2000 crore, based on my sources, just to produce movies like this. However, you can’t always trick people.

The Kashmir Files was criticized as “vulgar” and “propaganda” by Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid last year during the closing ceremony of the 53rd International Film Festival of India.

“We were all horrified and disturbed by the fifteenth movie, The Kashmir Files. That seemed like a crass, propagandist film that had no place in the aesthetic competition of such a prominent film festival. I feel completely at ease discussing my sentiments with you here, on stage. In keeping with the festival’s ethos, it is possible to embrace a critical conversation, which is necessary for both art and daily life “In his speech, he had remarked.

Vivek responded to the remark in a video, saying, “I issue a challenge to all of these urban naxals and the renowned Israeli filmmaker that if they can show even one scene, incident, or line of speech is not entirely accurate, I will stop creating movies. Who are these individuals who consistently speak out against India? These are the same folks that obstructed the disclosure of the facts about Moplah and Kashmir.”

Vivek Agnihotri responds to Anurag Kashyap’s remark

Vivek Agnihotri
  • Vivek Agnihotri reacted to Anurag Kashyap’s ‘mob is out of control now’ comment.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi advised BJP workers to stop commenting on films.
  • Vivek said that the PM is too late for India’s film industry.

Vivek Agnihotri, a filmmaker, responded to Anurag Kashyap’s recent statement that the “mob is out of control presently” on Twitter. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members to cease discussing movies, Anurag uttered those statements. The PM arrived too late, according to Anurag.

The Kashmir Files filmmaker, who frequently clashes with the DVD director, tweeted in response to a news story about Anurag Kashyap’s remarks, “Audience is’mob’ now? Wow! Wow, wow, wow

On the second day of the BJP’s national executive conference, PM Modi reportedly suggested that superfluous comments on unrelated subjects like movies put the party’s development program on hold. This was according to the news agency PTI.

Anurag responded to it by stating, “If he had said this four years ago, it would have made a difference,” according to PTI. Now, I don’t believe it will matter. Controlling their own people was the goal. Now, everything is out of control. Nobody, in my opinion, will pay attention to anyone. He was present for the debut of the almost Pyaar trailer, which features Alaya F and DJ Mohabbat.

“When you remain silent, you strengthen bias and hostility. Now that it has gained so much power, it is a power unto itself. Currently, the mob is out of control “The filmmaker continued. Many lawmakers had already expressed opposition to the Pathaan song Besharam Rang featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Narottam Mishra, the home minister for Madhya Pradesh, and Ram Kadam, who criticized Deepika’s saffron bikini, were among them. Many others also opposed the movie and the song because they thought it offended religious sensibilities.

The head of the Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA), director Ashoke Pandit, came out in support of PM Modi’s remarks to the BJP party members at the same time. “If the PM ignores his own people and tells them to shut up and not utter crap against the film industry, which is not their area, for mere publicity, it is a major confidence boost for the industry,” he said in an interview with Indian Express. that the nation’s prime minister is with you. The message is sent to everyone, including lawmakers and members of the media, which is our own sector.
