Kiara Advani praises ‘Jersey’s trailer; Shahid Kapoor reacts

The teaser for Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Jersey’ has received a huge response from fans, and Kiara Advani is no exception, as she expressed her support for her Kabir Singh co-star.

The Good Newwz star took to Instagram to write a letter beside the film’s trailer, in which she continued to explain, “The screen has missed you SK! Looking forward to Jersey!”

The 29-year-old actress also expressed her best wishes to Thakur, saying, “ I know how special this film is to you. @Mrunalthakur You are just so lovely on-screen. Love and best wishes to the entire team.”

The actor’s heartfelt request elicited a response from the Jab We Met star, who re-shared the actor’s Instagram story with the caption, “Till we meet again Preeti ji.”

The film, which depicts a cricketer’s return, is set to enter theatres on December 31, 2021.

Laxmmi Bomb trailer is out; Akshay Kumar promises thrill, laughter

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar starrer Laxmmi Bomb is the remake of 2011 Tamil film Muni 2: Kanchana directed by Raghava Lawrence.

The trailer of Laxmmi Bomb is out, and it somehow similar to Priyadarshan’s Bhool Bhulaiya.

Alongside Akshay, the film also stars Kiara Advani, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar, Tarun Arora and Ashwini Kalsekar.

The trailer shows Akshay Kumar’s character gets possessed by the spirit of a woman, and he then starts acting like one since his body is under her control.

However, the film tries to create a mood for a horror-comedy.

It also reminds us of old Hindi movies where the transgender community was represented in quite a stereotypical way.

Towards the end of the trailer, Akshay also channels the classic Ashutosh Rana scream from Sangharsh that still sends shivers down our spine.

From the trailer, it is quite evident that Laxmmi Bomb is trying to balance the story with some situational comedy and songs.

The movie will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 9.
