Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assures that federal development projects currently underway in Sindh province will be expedited for a swift completion.
In a recent high-level meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the two leaders discussed key issues concerning the Sindh province, Furthermore, they also analyzed and exchanged views on the prevailing political situation of the country was touched upon.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah briefed Prime Minister Sharif on the Sindh government’s apprehensions about the digital census initiative. In response, The Prime Minister assured him that these concerns would be addressed.
Emphasizing the importance of collaboration, PM Shahbaz Sharif stated that federal and provincial governments must come together for the people’s well-being. He also highlighted the Thar Coal Project’s potential to cater to the nation’s energy demands while spurring local development.
Notably, Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Sardar Ayaz Sadiq was also present during the talks.
Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stressed the significance of a comprehensive census as a national responsibility and said that “I want all the people to be counted regularly in the census because it is a national duty.”
Chief Minister Shah urged commissioners and deputy commissioners to ensure accurate data collection during the digital census, using tablets to input information. He instructed the authorities to intensify awareness campaigns and verify the count of households and residents at the village level.
