KARACHI: The city is likely to be gripped by another cold wave this Thursday (January 19), reported Meteorological Department.
The weather turned chilly last week and continued to be severely cold till today, however, a new cold wave is going to take over from Thursday as more cold winds are expected to cover the city.
The temperature of the city was recorded at 7°C in the morning in Karachi today. Currently, the humidity is 46% while the winds are blowing from the northeast at a slow speed.
On the other hand, the weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country including the plains of Sindh and Punjab. Windy weather conditions are also likely in plain areas.
Meanwhile, the weather is to remain very cold in Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan on Tuesday.
Moreover, Frost is likely to occur over plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Sindh, Pothohar region and Kashmir during morning hours.
