Motorway Rape Case: Punjab Police Rewards Personnel For Arresting Suspects

On Tuesday, the Punjab police distributed cash awards among the police personnel who apprehended the accused in the Lahore motorway rape case.

According to the detail, Punjab’s Inspector General (IG) Inam Ghani distributed Rs2.5 million and appreciation certificates among 40 officers and personnel who played a huge part in solving the case actively.

The IG Punjab said that the case was challenging but the law enforcers worked hard and served their duties with dedication.

The ceremony was held at the Central Police Office and officers belonging to the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA), Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Criminal Record Management System (CRMS), and other branches of the Police Department were rewarded.
