Wednesday saw Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor at the Press Club in Mumbai, where they could be seen in a room full of their iconic pictures from the past, including one of Alia holding Ranbir’s ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif at a 2019 event.
On Wednesday, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor took a break from being parents to go to an event in Mumbai. The newlyweds, who had their daughter Raha Kapoor in November of last year, were sighted together at the Press Club in Mumbai, where they were shown a room full of some of their most treasured photographs taken by paparazzi and famous people throughout the years. Aside from images of Ranbir and Alia with his parents, the late Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, A picture of the pair and Katrina Kaif at a 2019 event was also included.

On social media, paparazzi and fan groups uploaded images and videos of Ranbir and Alia discussing their old photo with Katrina, to which many people responded. The photo was taken at a 2019 awards ceremony when Ranbir and Alia ran into Katrina Kaif. In the picture, Alia and Katrina can be seen cuddling and then holding hands as Ranbir watches. Ranbir can be seen grinning and pointing to their photo with Katrina in the videos posted from the Press Club event on Monday. Katrina and Alia were friends before Alia started seeing Ranbir, and the two frequently praised one another online and in interviews.

Commenting on Ranbir and Alia Bhatt’s latest video from the event that was shared on Instagram, a user wrote, “Crazy how Alia ignored the picture with her ‘best friend’.” Another one commented, “Alia changed her facial expression, and began to make a face when she saw Katrina’s photo.” Defending Alia, a fan commented, “Both of them (Alia and Ranbir) ignored the picture (with Katrina), they knew cameras were right there.” Another one wrote, “Ranbir’s reaction when he saw Katrina’s picture…”

Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt were well-known as one of Bollywood’s best friends, spending time together at many Mumbai events as well as getting along on the Dream Team 2016 tour of the US. The two even wore identical ensembles in 2017 for their appearance on the second season of BFFs with Vogue. After several years of courting, Alia wed Katrina’s ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in April 2022, and the couple had a daughter in November. On the other side, in December 2021, Katrina wed actor Vicky Kaushal.

New mothers ‘place a lot of pressure on themselves,’ according to Alia Bhatt, to return to their pre-pregnancy appearance. In addition, Alia discussed why she “had to reduce weight” following the birth of Raha Kapoor in November 2022.
Raha Kapoor, the daughter of new mom Alia Bhatt and actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor, was born in November of the previous year. Alia discussed “ladies grappling with their changed appearance following birth” in a recent interview. After giving birth, the star talked openly about relating to new mothers “who desire to reduce weight.” In addition, Alia discussed her weight reduction since giving birth to Raha and said that the reason for her weight loss was due to the movies.

 

The star claimed that new mothers put “a lot of pressure on themselves” to resume their previous appearances. After Raha was born on November 6, 2022, Alia Bhatt said that she ‘had to lose weight’ because movies ‘are a visual medium’ and she ‘had to look beautiful’. In a recent interview, Alia acknowledged her love of food and talked about the pressure women experience because of social media in today’s world “even before pregnancy.”

 

 

I’d really like to discuss this. Many women struggle with their postpartum appearance. They frequently put a lot of pressure on themselves to resume their previous appearances. I understand that everyone wants to lose weight. Because movies are a visual medium and you need to look well, I love food and I love to eat, but I had to lose weight. You must have a good appearance. Girls worry about their appearance all the time these days, even before getting pregnant, because every picture is posted on social media. Women ought to stop and think about how beautiful their bodies are.

 

 

Alia continued by talking about how new mothers should maintain their bodies “safe” and said that she exercises now for health reasons rather than to lose weight or slim down. It’s not just about getting back in shape, she continued; you also need to strengthen your immune.

 

 

After that, everything will fall into place. I no longer exercise to lose weight or to make my waist appear smaller. I exercise for my health. The goal is to maintain a healthy weight rather than starve oneself by eating unhealthily. I decided not to be too hard on myself, even if I occasionally have a little additional bloating or weight gain. I’m going to have a party for it. I’m not going to torment myself.

 

The actress also provided wellness advice for new mothers in the same interview, advising them to make an effort to stay healthy by eating vegetables, including protein in their diets, practising yoga, and going for walks and runs. Alia and Ranbir Kapoor were recently photographed outside their Mumbai building with their stroller-riding baby Raha. Shaheen Bhatt, Alia’s sister, had also joined them.

 

In April of last year, Alia and Ranbir got married in their Vastu home. On November 6, 2022, Alia had announced the arrival of their daughter. The actor shared his pregnancy news on Instagram with the caption, “And in the happiest news of our lives: Our baby is here.. and what a wonderful lady she is. Our hearts are overflowing with love; we are blessed and driven parents.”

He said that this was the first time he had shown anyone outside the family these photos.

In fact, Alia told the photographers that she and her husband don’t even share Raha’s images on WhatsApp since there is a danger that they could be leaked. The photographers in attendance at the meeting were the first to see Raha’s photos.

The pair stood before an enormous Christmas tree adorned with red and silver ornaments. Alia sported a red dress and a Santa hat in the romantic photograph. She tweeted a second photo of herself posing with her sister Shaheen, as well as a group photo that included Ranbir and their respective mothers, stars Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan.

He said Bombay Velvet “wasn’t a good movie” and that it “deserved what happened” at the box office.

Ranbir talked freely about his films throughout the years and how some of them struggled at the box office during the discussion. A fan in the crowd stopped him and declared that Karan Johar was to blame for his movie Bombay Velvet being a “huge disaster of Indian cinema.” Putting the blame on the producer-director who portrayed the antagonist in the Anurag Kashyap film, Ranbir laughed and said it would be unfair.

Ranbir said, “While working on the film I thought like, ‘Wow, this is amazing,’ you know. Like, Anurag Kashyap was directing. We had great set of actors, you know. See, once you start a film you lose perspective because you surrender to the process. You surrender to the filmmaking, you surrender to the character…So Bombay Velvet was something which…it deserved the fate that it had because it wasn’t a good film.”
