On Thursday morning, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram account to post a video. The video features her in a red swimsuit, leisurely swimming and relaxing in a pool, likely at her New York hotel. The text overlaid on the video reads, “My schedule on my day off. That’s it. That’s my schedule.”

Anurag Kashyap Praises Alia Bhatt As The ‘Best Performer’

From her Bollywood debut in “Student Of The Year” to her Hollywood entry with “Heart of Stone,” Alia Bhatt has had a remarkable journey. The new mother is basking in the glory of winning the Best Actress award at the 69th National Films Awards for her role in “Gangubai Kathiawadi.” Among the many Bollywood stars who congratulated her on this achievement was filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. However, Anurag Kashyap believes he can’t approach Alia to work with him.

In an interview, the director of “Gangs of Wasseypur” hailed Alia Bhatt as one of the finest performers in the country. He mentioned that he always reaches out to her when he appreciates her work but remains silent when he’s not pleased with her performances.

Anurag Kashyap went on to explain that due to his inclination towards low-budget films, he cannot afford to collaborate with actors of Alia Bhatt’s caliber. He said, “I think Alia is one of the best performers in the country, and I always reach out to her after watching her work. But I keep quiet when I don’t like something she’s done. I would love to work with her if it doesn’t affect the budget and the dynamics of my film, but it also has to come from the other side.”

Furthermore, the filmmaker emphasized that if any actor expresses hesitation about working with him, he promptly withdraws. He stated, “I don’t believe in wishful thinking. I don’t chase actors more than once. If they tell me to make adjustments to the script, I do it, but mostly, their hesitation is enough to get me to back out. Because if their heart isn’t in it, you can tell immediately on the screen.”

After her remarkable performance in “Gangubai Kathiawadi” in 2022, Alia Bhatt delivered consecutive hits. In the same year, she starred in the Telugu film “RRR,” followed by “Darlings” and Ayan Mukerji’s “Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva.” This year, she appeared alongside Ranveer Singh in “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” and made her international debut with the American film “Heart of Stone,” featuring Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, and Matthias Schweighöfer.

Jamie Dornan has recently offered insight into his past feelings of envy towards his former roommate and Twilight star, Robert Pattinson.

“I’ve known Rob forever,” shared the star of Fifty Shades of Grey, responding to queries in Wired’s “The Web’s Most Searched Questions” on August 7. Dornan, who is currently engaged in promoting his new movie, Heart of Stone, described Pattinson as “a really good friend” and expressed admiration, stating, “I love him. I think he’s one of the most interesting, exciting actors around.”

Nonetheless, the Irish actor admitted, “I probably at one point was quite jealous early on.”

“In London, we were all friends and Rob was making significant strides while we weren’t. I genuinely believe he’s the nicest person in the world,” Dornan affirmed.

In earlier interviews, the Belfast actor openly discussed his evolving relationship with Pattinson, particularly as Pattinson gained fame through his roles in the Harry Potter and Twilight series.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight in March 2022, Dornan remarked, “I think with Rob it’s always been like, he sort of had success earlier, so we were a bit like, ‘Does he really fit in with us?’ Because we were not working and he’s working all the time.”

Among those who wished her was Hollywood actor and her Heart of Stone co-star Gal Gadot.
She had earlier congratulated Alia on becoming a mom, and called her ‘ma’ as she wished her on her birthday.

After turning 30 on Wednesday, Alia Bhatt just posted images from her birthday celebrations on Instagram. Gal Gadot, a Hollywood actress and her Heart of Stone co-star, was one of those who sent their condolences. She had earlier wished Alia a happy birthday and congratulated her on becoming a mother, referring to her as “ma”.

On Thursday, Alia posted photos of herself on her birthday with the simple comment “THIRTY”. Gal wished her a happy birthday in the comments area and said, “Ma”. Lilly Singh, a YouTuber, also left congratulations for Alia in the comments.

Earlier, Gal responded to Alia’s post announcing the birth of her daughter in November of last year by writing “Congratulations” and adding a heart emoticon and party confetti images. When Alia was expecting her first child last year, Gal joined her on the Heart of Stone set.

Also, Alia had mentioned how well-cared-for she had been while filming the movie in London and other parts of Europe. “I was shooting an action movie for the first time, so it was my first big-budget Hollywood production in the English language. But there were so many layers for me to manage because I’m also expecting. Yet they handled everything for me in a seamless, simple, and comfortable manner. I will never forget that because of how brilliantly and well I was treated, she said in an interview with Variety last year.

Alia recently traveled to Kashmir to complete the filming of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Filmmaker Karan Johar decided to shoot some scenes in Kashmir before the movie opens in theaters in July even though she had finished the shot before giving birth to Raha. It will now be released on July 28 instead of April as originally planned. Ranveer Singh and Alia’s Gully Boy co-star will reappear together. Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi also appear in the movie.

The Brahmastra actor just revealed the date of the premiere of her Hollywood debut, which is scheduled to air on August 11 of 2023 on Netflix. While fans are thrilled to hear this news, another detail that has captured everyone’s attention is that there is still another major movie coming out on the same day.

Recently, Alia Bhatt shared a video on her social media which was originally shared on Netflix’s original page. We could see a glimpse of several movies premiering on Netflix in 2023. After a brief flash of Alia Bhatt, who is making her Hollywood debut with the movie, and Jamie Dornan, there are multiple glimpses of fast-paced action scenes. Heart of Stone promises to be a very epic novel. It’s a very real, gritty action thriller. Gal Gadot, who performs the lead role of CIA operative Rachel Stone, said that they really wanted to make sure we kept it realistic so that viewers could experience the suffering.

In the BTS footage from the movie, Alia Bhatt, who is making her international film debut, is heard saying, “It has these characters that you connect with and feel for.” Aside from revealing her character’s name in the movie, Keya Dhawan, the video offers little more information about her.

While very pregnant, Alia shot several action scenes for the movie. Earlier this year, images of the actress filming scenes with her apparent baby belly appeared online. In an interview with Variety, Alia remarked, “It was my first Hollywood big English picture experience and I had quite a task at hand because I was shooting for the first time an action movie. But I’m also pregnant so there were so many layers for me to deal with. But they made it so seamless and so easy and so comfortable for me. It’s something that I will never forget because of how beautifully and how well I was treated.”

The Tom Harper-directed film Heart of Stone is intended to be the first instalment in a series akin to Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible. The movie also stars Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighöfer, Jing Lusi, and Paul Ready in addition to Gal, Jamie, and Alia. The movie will debut on Netflix the following year.

To address such rumours, Alia posted a letter on Instagram in which she promised everyone that her work will not be affected by her pregnancy.

She revealed that she is presently filming after announcing her pregnancy on Instagram on Monday, June 27.

Alia posted a story on Instagram, “Meanwhile we live in some people’s heads we also live in some patriarchal world. Nothing has got delayed, No one needs to pick anyone up. I am a woman, not a parcel. I do not need to rest at all but good to know you’ll have a doctor’s certification. This is 2002. Can we please get out of this archake way of thinking. Now if you would excuse me, my shot is ready .”

Earlier in the day, she posted an unseen photo of herself with Ranbir on her Instagram account, thanking her fans for their well wishes.
