Robert Pattinson reveals how Zendaya helped him in a difficult scene in upcoming movie

Robert Pattinson
  • Robert Pattinson shared an interesting BTS moment from The Drama.
  • While filming, Pattinson struggled with one specific scene.
  • Frustrated, the Batman star decided to turn to Zendaya for clarity.

Robert Pattinson recently shared an interesting behind-the-scenes moment from The Drama, where he sought Zendaya’s help to tackle a particularly challenging scene. The upcoming film follows a couple whose relationship takes a drastic turn just before their wedding, presenting emotionally complex moments for both actors.

While filming, Pattinson struggled with one specific scene, which, according to him, was driving him “crazy.” Speaking to Premiere, he revealed, “We had a scene together that was driving me crazy. I was desperately looking for its meaning, writing pages and pages of textual analysis.” Frustrated, the Batman star decided to turn to Zendaya for clarity.

“I ended up calling Zendaya the night before shooting the scene. I shared my doubts with her, I spoke for two hours, and after a while, very calmly, she made me understand that the line just said what it meant to say, that there was no hidden meaning,” Pattinson explained, as reported by The Independent.

The actor is known for his deep immersion in roles, a tendency he admitted became overwhelming during the filming of Die, My Love, directed by Lynne Ramsay. Reflecting on the experience, he shared, “I did this movie with Lynne Ramsay, and she’s a really good dancer. And Jennifer Lawrence is a really good dancer. They just find it so easy.”

Recalling a particularly stressful moment, he added, “I was like, ‘I’m going to have a mental breakdown when this happens. We need to either choreograph it or cut it.’”

Both The Drama and Die, My Love are set for release this year, though official dates have yet to be confirmed.

The highly anticipated sequel, initially expected sooner, is now slated for a 2027 release, leaving Pattinson wondering just how much time will pass before he dons the Batsuit again.

“I fing hope so,”* the actor quipped when asked by Mickey 17 co-star Naomi Ackie if he was excited to reprise his role in an interview with Hero Magazine. “I started out as young Batman and I’m going to be fing old Batman by the sequel… I’m 38, I’m old.”*

Despite the delay, Pattinson reassured fans that he’s in great shape. “I’m old, but I’m healthier. I think I’ve actually brought my biological age down a bit,” he added.

While plot details remain a mystery, Pattinson confirmed at the Mickey 17 London premiere that filming will begin at the end of 2025. “It’s cool,” he teased.

Director Matt Reeves also hinted at major developments, revealing that Colin Farrell’s Penguin, whose HBO series The Penguin premieres soon, will tie directly into the sequel. “The seeds of where this goes are all in the first movie, and it expands in a way that will show you aspects of the character you never got to see,” Reeves told SFX Magazine.

With over a year until filming starts, fans will have to wait—but Pattinson’s enthusiasm suggests it will be worth it.

  • He shared how he questioned the future of his career.

Robert Pattinson recently revealed that he “almost” walked away from acting, believing that cinema was on the verge of collapse due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Hollywood labor strikes. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the actor shared how he questioned the future of his career during these uncertain times.

“It’s strange because the last few years for the film industry, starting with COVID and then the strikes, everyone was constantly saying cinema is dying. And quite convincingly,” Pattinson admitted. “I was literally almost turned off. It actually started to get a little worrying.”

Despite his doubts, a wave of ambitious films, including Oscar hopeful The Brutalist, reignited his enthusiasm. Directed by Brady Corbet, the film played a key role in helping Pattinson rediscover his love for acting.

Discussing the recent surge of exciting projects, Pattinson said, “Then looking in the last few months, there’s this flurry of very ambitious movies.” He believes that the upcoming Oscar contenders reflect a newfound energy in the industry, adding, “There’s suddenly a new batch of directors who the audience is excited about as well.”

Pattinson is hopeful about his upcoming sci-fi black comedy Mickey 17, directed by Bong Joon Ho, and looks forward to returning as Batman in The Batman Part II, set for an October 2027 release.

Why Robert Pattinson narrates fictitious childhood stories? Actor reveals

Robert Pattinson
  • Robert Pattinson shared a fabricated story about his childhood.
  • He confessed to feeling like he was “possessed.”
  • Pattinson has frequently told fictional stories over the years.

Robert Pattinson, known for his role in Twilight, has once again shared a bizarre, fabricated story about his childhood.

Reflecting on an old 2011 interview, the actor confessed to feeling like he was “possessed” while recounting a made-up tale about witnessing a clown die in a car explosion as a child.

As The New York Times noted, “There was absolutely no hesitation at all [in his voice]” when he admitted the story, revealing a mix of pride and fear. He added, “I’m like, ‘What on earth? Are you possessed?'”

Pattinson, now 38, has frequently told fictional stories over the years. He once claimed to have shaken off a stalker by taking her out for dinner and boring her with his personal problems.

He also mentioned a deleted Twilight scene that allegedly depicted intense interest and pleasure—another story that turned out to be untrue. Furthermore, Pattinson fabricated a tale about working as a women’s hand model.

When asked why he shares such falsehoods, Pattinson explained, “The only thing people would ever ask me about was being famous. You go into, like a fugue state.”

On the professional front, the actor is set to star in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming project, continuing his career with another major role.

Robert Pattinson hints at retirement from acting after ‘Batman trilogy’

Robert Pattinson
  • Robert Pattinson has hinted that he might retire from acting.
  • He shared that he could retire after the Batman trilogy.
  • His casting as the iconic superhero initially sparked controversy.

Robert Pattinson, best known for his portrayal of Batman, has hinted that he might retire from acting after completing the upcoming Batman trilogy.

In an interview with The New York Times Magazine, the actor discussed his future in the industry, saying, “I could genuinely be retiring by the end of them. Not in a million years did I think I’d still be doing this when I got my first job. I can’t believe this is still going.”

Pattinson’s casting as the iconic superhero initially sparked controversy, with fans uncertain about his suitability for the role. However, his performance in The Batman (2022) won over critics, setting the stage for a planned trilogy under director Matt Reeves, with the sequel expected in 2026.

Pattinson also spoke about the discipline required in his profession, stating, “The main thing is constantly remembering what your job is. It’s a discipline to not use your energy on anything other than that.”

Having been acting for over a decade, Pattinson first gained fame at 17 with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) and later became a household name as Edward Cullen in the Twilight series. He will next star in Bong Joon-ho’s Mickey 17, a sci-fi film set for release in 2025.

Nicholas Hoult reveals shock over Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ casting

Nicholas Hoult
  • Nicholas Hoult shared what he felt about The Batman casting.
  • Nicholas had auditioned for the role of Batman.
  • He recalled when he first learned that Pattinson had been cast.

Hollywood actor Nicholas Hoult recently shared his surprise over Robert Pattinson’s casting as the iconic Batman in Matt Reeves’ 2022 film The Batman.

Hoult, who had auditioned for the role, recalled the moment he first learned that Pattinson had been cast.

“I remember a week before we did the Batman test, I was driving in my car and I had the radio on and they were talking on the radio how Rob was going to be the new Batman. And I was like, ‘It’s not confirmed yet! I’m auditioning next weekend. Give me a chance,’” Hoult said.

The actor admitted that losing the role was a tough pill to swallow, describing the experience as an emotional blow. “Your imagination does not know… you are aware on a practical level: ‘I know I am auditioning against Rob.’ And Rob is fantastic in that movie. That was the right decision. But you get excited by the prospect,” Hoult reflected. “There’s a weird period before you can get to the acceptance and see the movie and be like that was the right choice, you go through the period of ‘what could I have done different? Why not me?’”

Despite missing out on the role, The Batman, which grossed $770 million worldwide, was a success. A sequel is already in the works.

Looking ahead, Hoult is set to play Lex Luthor in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman. Although he initially auditioned for the title role, Gunn saw him as a better fit for the villainous character.

Jamie Dornan has recently offered insight into his past feelings of envy towards his former roommate and Twilight star, Robert Pattinson.

“I’ve known Rob forever,” shared the star of Fifty Shades of Grey, responding to queries in Wired’s “The Web’s Most Searched Questions” on August 7. Dornan, who is currently engaged in promoting his new movie, Heart of Stone, described Pattinson as “a really good friend” and expressed admiration, stating, “I love him. I think he’s one of the most interesting, exciting actors around.”

Nonetheless, the Irish actor admitted, “I probably at one point was quite jealous early on.”

“In London, we were all friends and Rob was making significant strides while we weren’t. I genuinely believe he’s the nicest person in the world,” Dornan affirmed.

In earlier interviews, the Belfast actor openly discussed his evolving relationship with Pattinson, particularly as Pattinson gained fame through his roles in the Harry Potter and Twilight series.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight in March 2022, Dornan remarked, “I think with Rob it’s always been like, he sort of had success earlier, so we were a bit like, ‘Does he really fit in with us?’ Because we were not working and he’s working all the time.”

“He did Twilight and suddenly entered a different realm of stardom than us,” Dornan added.

Meanwhile, Dornan is set to appear alongside Gal Gadot and Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt in Heart of Stone, scheduled for release on August 11 on Netflix.

The Batman 2: sequel led by Robert Pattinson to be more darker

Robert Pattinson
  • Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman 2’ is rumored to reprise the roles of villains.
  • The actor is gearing up for his second run as Bruce Wayne.
  • The producers of the film are supposedly contemplating other themes.

Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman 2’ is rumored to reprise the roles of villains namely Penguin and The Riddler.

While Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ did extremely well at the global box office, the actor is gearing up for his second run as Bruce Wayne. Pattinson clashed with The Riddler, as well as criminal leaders The Penguin and Carmine Falcone, in Part 1. With fresh developments, it is said that the producers may bring back some of the big antagonists to take Part 2 up a level.

According to new rumours, because director Matt Reeves and ‘Alfred Pennyworth’ actor Andy Serkis are returning to the sequel, the producers are supposedly contemplating other themes. If all goes well, two antagonists from the previous film may make a significant reappearance in Part 2.

According to sources, ‘The Batman 2’ will feature a few of original villains, with the film set to be released in 2025. According to a source, Paul Dano and Colin Farrell will reprise their roles as The Riddler and the Penguin in the DC film. If this rumour is accurate, they will be the fourth confirmed member of the ‘The Batman 2’ cast, following Robert Pattinson and Andy Serkis. Part 1 of ‘The Batman’ saw Colin Farrell’s Oswald Cobblepot cause mayhem in Gotham as a free man while watching the city flood. The Riddler, on the other hand, was seen to be imprisoned at Arkham Asylum, with Barry Keoghan’s Joker as his cellmate.

Curiously, Paul Dano alluded about resuming his part in ‘The Batman 2’ in October 2022, adding he would “probably be there” if requested. Speaking of Farrell, he is presently filming ‘The Penguin,’ his own HBO Max programme. Apart from the return of the major villains, fans may expect new antagonists to surprise them.

For the uninitiated, Robert Pattinson’s The Batman 2′ will begin production in November, with a release date of October 5, 2025.

  • Only pop culture fans are aware that the Batman actor was previously a member of the Harry Potter films.
  • The actor is the latest in a long line of performers who have performed the role of Batman.

‘Batman’ actor Robert Pattinson was starstruck when by Harry Potter cast, when he appeared as Cedric Diggory.

Robert Pattinson is making headlines for his second ‘The Batman’ film. While his last trip as the caped crusader was well appreciated by the superhero community, they are impatiently awaiting the sequel. Only pop culture fans are aware that the Batman actor was previously a member of the Harry Potter films.

Many people are unaware that Robert rose to prominence as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Before he become renowned as Edward Cullen in 2008’s Twilight, the actor was initially starstruck by his fellow Harry Potter castmates.

During a conversation, Robert Pattinson looked back at his role in the Harry Potter movies. When I did Harry Potter, I remember looking at Dan [Daniel Radcliffe], Rupert [Grint], and Emma [Watson] and being like, ‘Those guys are actors,’” said the Batman actor. He later added, “I was starstruck by them. And I was starstruck by these guys when I met them, even though I’d only seen Kristen in a few things. I’ve always had this separation.”

The Batman actor later added about filming alongside the other cast members of Harry Potter movies. “It’s funny to see people get humanized. With Dan, Rupert, and Emma, I still see them as that. I was with them for 11 months and I still see them as massively famous people,” said Robert Pattinson

Yet, the actor had no clue that faith had other ideas for him, as three years down the line, he would become a global darling. Following his appearance in 2008’s Twilight, Robert Pattinson’s picture went on to make $407 million worldwide, becoming one of the year’s highest-grossing films.

Not to mention his role as Bruce Wayne, whose alter ego, Batman, wants retribution for the DC universe. The actor is the latest in a long line of performers who have performed the role of Batman. Yet, reviewers and moviegoers have complimented Pattinson for his unique take on the role and are looking forward to ‘The Batman – Part 2’.

Robert Pattinson has now taken on the role of an art curator

Robert Pattinson
  • Pattinson previously auctioned off one of his own doodles in 2017 to raise money for charity.
  • His collection of six works has estimated prices between $100,000 to $2.5 million.
  • The response from the art community has been less than enthusiastic.

According to Artnet, Robert Pattinson has now assumed the responsibilities of an art curator after collaborating with Sotheby’s on an exhibition for the Contemporary Curated programme.

Since 2013, the auction house has invited well-known celebrities to serve as guest curators, including DJ Steve Aoki, Margherita Missoni, Oprah Winfrey, and grime singer Skepta, to help plan exceptional sales.

Willem de Kooning, Richard Serra, and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye were among the artists Pattinson chose for his collection of six works. The works have estimated prices between $100,000 to $2.5 million, according to Artnet. Pattinson, who a Page Six source describes as a “passionate art collector,” previously auctioned off one of his own doodles in 2017 to raise money for charity.

Some people, however, are not enthusiastic about this display. The news did not go over well with fans and followers of art. Many people commented on the Sotheby’s Instagram post on Pattinson’s first exhibition as a curator.

One person commented, “Hmm… how about ask art teachers? Or working artists?”

Another said, “When you’re a star, they let you do anything. You can do anything.”

Meanwhile, an art insider told that it’s unlikely that even Sotheby’s is buying its own shtick. “[Pattinson] maybe picked a couple [of pieces] out — but that’s about it. No major auction house is going to trust a non-art specialist to put an auction together,” they said.

However, some users spoke in support of the Twilight star, “We need more ‘visible’ people (aka celebs or whatever you want to call them) to advocate for the arts and drive an intrigue and interest in young people to look at art as an important tool of expression… especially with the threatening rise of mental health issues, a means of escape and alternative expression is ever more important..,” wrote one user.

Despite the snarky comments from the art community, the publication also noticed that Katie Holmes was one of over 15,000 people who actually liked the post.

When Page Six asked Sotheby’s about the unenthusiastic response, a rep revealed, “Encouraging fresh perspectives by working with guest curators is nothing new and we look forward to welcoming you at our exhibition.”

Another source said that the whole point of featuring Pattinson “is that they’re non-art world people or cultural figures, [Sotheby’s staff] think are interesting and are collectors. They are not pretending.”

The  reason why Pattinson was chosen for this role was because he’s a passionate art collector rather than a seasoned curator.

The exhibit curated by the Batman star is currently running from September 23 through 29 at Sotheby’s New York. A live auction will conclude the exhibit on September 30.
