Meghan Markle and Prince Harry married in May 2018 at Windsor Castle’s St George’s Chapel and will mark their fourth wedding anniversary next month. Idris Elba, who played DJ during their royal wedding, stated that the Duchess had only one song in mind for him to play: Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.”

Christina Garibaldi and Christine Ross discussed Idris Elba’s announcement of Meghan’s “upbeat” wedding song choice on this week’s episode of US Weekly.

Ms Garibaldi said: “Idris Elba revealed which song Duchess Meghan wanted to be played at her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry, Christine which one was it?”

“It was ‘Still Dre’, which was a 1999 hit featuring Snopp Dogg”, claimed Ms Ross.

She added: “This just goes to show that this was not, you know, your fairytale wedding reception.

“This was a really upbeat, vibrant, energetic party.

“They really wanted everyone to dance and have a great time.”

Ms Ross continued: “I love the stories that came out of this of everyone dancing, of the fireworks.

“It must have been a really amazing party.”

“It must have been awesome”, added Ms Garibaldi.

Idris wasn’t the only famous person who attended the Sussexes’ wedding.

George and Amal Clooney, as well as Oprah Winfrey, were among the other notable attendees.

The Queen was said to have carried a portrait of herself and Prince Philip in her purse to the memorial. The photo was taken in the early days of their relationship. Christina Garibaldi and Christine Ross reviewed the portrait that Her Majesty carried to Westminster Abbey and other “sentimental” objects at the service on the newest Royally US episode.

Speaking of the photo, Ms Garibaldi said: “The photo was said to be of their time when they lived in Malta, they lived there from 1949 to 1951.

“This is where he was stationed in the royal navy.

“It is said to be one of their favourite times together.

“She loved those years together and you know just always carrying a piece of him with her.”

Ms Ross said: “She seems so, she’s just a sentimental person I think.”

She also noted that the Queen is “using Prince Philip’s walking sticks now that she’s not in very good health”.

Speaking to Closer magazine, Ms Nicholl said: “Kate wants to be modern, she wants to be hands-on, she wants to be present.”
