Anushka Sharma recalls her memories while visiting childhood home

Anushka Sharma
  • Anushka Sharma shared a video from her visit to her old home in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh.
  • Where she learnt to swim and had scooter rides with her father.
  • She had many scooter rides with my dad and the place that will always have a piece of my heart.

On Monday, Anushka Sharma took a trip down memory lane by visiting the home where she spent her formative years. The performer, whose father served in the army, recently released a video of a trip to her childhood home, a government apartment in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. She discussed her swimming lessons at the pool and her father’s scooter rides as well.

Anushka posted the video on Instagram and said, “MHOW, MP is reviewed. The location where I first learned to swim as a child, where my brother deceived me into asking for a video game on MY birthday—which, of course, only he played—where I went on numerous scooter rides with my father, and the location that will always have a special place in my heart.”

Anushka may be seen in the video walking toward both her house at the end of the road and the home of her childhood buddy. Anushka smiles broadly and points to the home, saying, “Ye upar wala ghar tha” (the flat on the first floor was ours). She took a break to enter her home, as seen in a photograph. Also, she passed the swimming pool where she learned to swim as well as the Army Public School, where she received her education. “My heart is full,” she says in the final moments of the video as she departs the scene.

On the video, a viewer wrote, “This is feeling. This emotion can only be understood by an army brat. Another person remarked, “There’s something about the fauji houses’ ageless quality… they look exactly as we remember them.” “MHOW the most precious place for any army kid,” someone else wrote. Every two years as we are growing up, we transfer homes, but Cantt is the only place we feel at home. Cantt is a sensation, not a location. Coming back to the Cant houses is just another issue, according to another opinion. All of it comes back! Many people also shared how they studied in Mhow in the comments section. “Sooooooooo lovely to see you revisiting Mhow,” someone wrote. I have been a student at APS Mhow since first grade and recently graduated.

Anushka will now appear in Chakda Xpress, the biopic of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Before the birth of her baby Vamika, she was last spotted in the 2018 movie Zero.

Cheetahs are being airlifted to India as part of an effort to resurrect the species

India
  • Twelve cheetahs have arrived in India.
  • The cheetahs are part of an endeavor by India and South Africa to reintroduce the cheetah in India.
  • Cheetahs were declared extinct in India in 1952.

New Delhi: Twelve cheetahs have arrived in India as part of efforts to bring the species back from extinction after decades in the country.

The South African feline predators were flown in from Johannesburg on Saturday, according to the Indian Air Force.

The cheetahs will next be carried by helicopters from the India Air Force to their final destination, the Kuno National Park in central Madhya Pradesh state, and released. They will be joined by eight cheetahs who were moved from Namibia in September of last year.

According to a joint statement from India’s Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and South Africa‘s Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, the cheetahs are part of an endeavor by India and South Africa to reintroduce the cheetah in India.

The program would “expand the cheetah meta-population and return cheetahs to a former range state following their local extinction due to overhunting and habitat loss over the last century,” according to the announcement.

Cheetahs were declared extinct in India in 1952, according to the report.

According to the statement, the 12 cheetahs are all “wild-born” and are familiar with their natural predators. Cheetahs are preyed upon by other big cats and eagles.

Video: Madhya Pradesh Man Runs From Cobra Hiding Inside Blanket

Madhya Pradesh

Snakes, as we all know, are infamous for slipping and hiding in unexpected places. This time, a young man in Madhya Pradesh’s Sironja village was astounded to discover a snake hidden within his blanket. The snake, a black deadly cobra, was apparently sleeping the entire night under his bed cover. The disturbing discovery was made by the young man in the morning after he noticed something moving inside his blanket. When he removed the blanket cover around 6 a.m., he discovered the big black serpent lurking and hissing. He screamed and hurried out of the house, tossing the blanket to one side of the bed, the snake still clinging to the blanket.

A video of the incident shows the snake sleeping underneath the blanket. When the youngster prodded the blanket, the cobra lifted its hood in defence. Cobras are best recognised for their hood, which they flash when threatened or preparing to strike.

The terrified man instantly dialled the number of a snake rescuer, who successfully escorted the reptile out of the room with a stick. Later in the video, the snake rescuer is seen taking the cobra outside and showing it with his bare hands.

Black cobras are not threatened and can be found in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan. These cobras are also well-known for their lethal venom.

Such occurrences have become all too common. A big cobra was previously seen hidden inside a scooterette. A conservationist was seen on camera attempting to capture the spectacled cobra lurking within the scooterette. The man was able to catch the serpent’s tail and capture it with his bare hands.
