Kartik & Kriti send Valentine’s Day greetings from the Taj Mahal

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon were spotted promoting their movie Shehzada on Valentine’s Day at the Taj Mahal in Agra, ahead of its release on February 17. The actor posted a video of himself and Kriti romancing to the tune of Shehzada’s song Mere Sawaal Ka on Instagram. Official remake of the 2020 Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, starring Allu Arjun, is being made in Hindi by director Rohit Dhawan.

Kartik posted a reel of himself approaching Kriti Sanon, spinning her around, and then hoisting her into the air on Instagram. Over the video, the song Mere Sawaal Ka, written by Pritam, plays. The actor penned: “#HappyValentinesDay (red heart emoji) Bantu aur Samara ki taraf se, or saath mein ek Shehzada give… Book your ticket on the PVR App right now to receive a free ticket for a special someone (red heart emoji)! #Shehzada #17thFeb (crown emoji) this Friday.” They take on the roles of Samara and Bantu in the next movie.

Commenting on the post were fans who were excited to see them again on film. “Made my Valentines Day yesss,” one fan said. While another said, “Wishing the Shehzada and his Mumtaz a Happy Valentine’s Day (Shehzada aur uski mumtaz ko).” Kartik and Kriti are the “greatest couple forever,” according to another.

They earlier appeared in the 2019 movie Luka Chuppi together, while Kriti also had a cameo in Kartik’s Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019). She most recently appeared with Varun Dhawan in the horror comedy Bhediya (2022). She also has the upcoming movies The Crew with Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh, Ganapath with Tiger Shroff, and Adipurush with Prabhas in development.

Freddy, Kartik‘s most recent movie, made its debut on Disney+ Hotstar in December. He portrayed dentist Freddy Ginwala in the Shashanka Ghosh-directed thriller. Additionally, he has Satyaprem Ki Katha, a musical starring Kiara Advani, scheduled for release later this year.

Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, Rajpal Yadav, Sachin Khedekar, Ankur Rathee, and Sunny Hinduja are also featured in Shehzada. The popularity of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan at the box office caused the movie’s scheduled release date of February 10 to be postponed to February 17.

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are on a promotional trip around India for their new movie Shehzada; they stop in Agra.

Kartik shared a sweet photo of himself and co-star Kriti, showing off their fantastic chemistry off-screen. The two appeared to be in love as they smiled at each other and posed for a photo in front of the Taj Mahal, one of the most famous landmarks in the world.

On the photo, Aaryan added an interesting caption. “Shehzada, Taj Aur Mumtaz,” he inscribed. The image quickly gained popularity online.

Rohit Dhawan is the director of the T-series-supported movie Shehzada. The movie is a Hindi translation of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, a Telugu film starring Allu Arjun. Pooja Hedge played the lead role in the movie as well.

The upcoming Kartik starring movie also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Ronit Roy, who are all well-known Bollywood actors.

The film also represents Aaryan and Sanon’s second on-screen pairing after Luka Chuppi.

Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F most recently appeared in the suspenseful movie Freddy.

Kriti Sanon will appear in the upcoming movie Adipursh with Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan. She also has The Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor and Tabu in the works.

During world war 2, the Taj Mahals Dome was covered with scaffolding by the British government to make it difficult for German and Japanese bombers to identify it.

Since heritage monuments are the most prized possessions of a country, they naturally become most vulnerable to destruction during wars. And hence, safeguarding them becomes one of the primary concerns of a government when the country’s plunged into war. Have you ever imagined how The Taj Mahal, India’s most prized monument and the 7th wonder of the world, was protected during the wars India fought? Well, this is how!

In 1942, during the 2nd World War, the British thought that the Taj Mahal was vulnerable to bombing by the German Luftwaffe bombers (and also the Japanese) and placed bamboo scaffolding over the Taj Mahal. While the images here only show the dome of the Taj Mahal covered with a thick layering of bamboo scaffolds, it is widely believed that the whole Taj Mahal was layered. The same thing was done when India was fighting a war against Pakistan in 1965 and 1971.
