The Bombay High Court is set to hear a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) on February 19 regarding a deeper investigation into the deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager, Disha Salian. The PIL calls for the arrest and questioning of Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aditya Thackeray in connection with the two mysterious deaths.

Sushant’s father, KK Singh, expressed hope for justice under the new Maharashtra government. “I hope that whatever comes out of the court will be right. And hopefully, it will come out soon. We hoped for justice with the CBI, but it didn’t do its job on time. Now that it has come to the court, there is hope that justice will be obtained.”

Reflecting on his loss, he shared his emotional pain. “It is natural to have an emotional moment of five years. There was only one boy. This happened to him. One can imagine what will happen to the father.” He reiterated his belief that Sushant did not die by suicide, stating, “We can say that Sushant Singh would not have committed suicide.”

Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020, with his postmortem citing asphyxia as the cause. Five years later, the court is set to re-examine the case, keeping hopes of justice alive.

Earlier this year, she mentioned to Bombay Times, “I moved into the flat (Mont Blanc Apartments, Bandra) four months ago… I’m very sensitive to vibes, and this place gives me positive ones.” The apartment, reportedly rented by Sushant for ₹4.5 lakh per month, spans 3,600 sq ft and features three bedrooms. In a significant development related to the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) recently informed the Supreme Court that it will not challenge the bail granted to Rhea Chakraborty. As a quick recap, Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty were romantically involved and lived together. Tragically, on June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away by suicide, shortly after Rhea had moved out. Following his untimely demise, Rhea faced a barrage of allegations and hate.

The NCB had charged Rhea under the stringent Section 27-A of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, which pertains to “financing and harboring illegal drug trafficking.” However, she was later granted bail. On Tuesday, the NCB informed the Supreme Court that it will not challenge Rhea Chakraborty’s bail in connection with the drugs case linked to the late actor’s death. The Additional Solicitor General S V Raju emphasized that while the bail is not being challenged, the question of law concerning Section 27-A of the NDPS Act should remain open.

Responding to this development, Rhea took to social media and posted a brief clip of herself glowing radiantly, captioned with the word “Gratitude” and a folded hand emoji. The post quickly went viral, with netizens interpreting it as an expression of her appreciation for the NCB’s recent decision.

On the professional front, Rhea Chakraborty made a comeback to television as a gang leader on Roadies 19: Karm Ya Kaand. Currently, she is actively involved in the show alongside co-gang leaders Gautam Gulati and Prince Narula, while the popular Bollywood actor Sonu Sood hosts the show.

The NCB’s stance and Rhea’s response on social media have drawn attention from followers and the media alike, continuing the ongoing scrutiny and interest in the aftermath of Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death.

Fans of the late Sushant Singh Rajput were stunned when a paparazzo posted the flashback image on Instagram on Thursday, calling Hrithik’s stuntman a “copy of SSR” (Sushant Singh Rajput). Mansoor and Sushant seem so much alike that fans were compelled to comment on the late actor, who passed away in 2020, in the post’s comments section.

Hrithik Roshan and Mansoor were pictured while filming for Vikram Vedha wearing matching black shirts and pants. Fans remarked that Mansoor resembled Sushant exactly, albeit with longer, messier hair and a beard. Oh my God, SSR (Sushant Singh Rajput) replica, said a fan. Someone more commented, “Stuntman reminds me of SSR.” The fact that he resembles SSR and that his name is Mansoor—the name of Sushant’s character in Kedarnath (2018)—was noted by another fan. “Ek pal ko laga Sushant hai Hritik ke sath,” said another. “For a second, I thought it was Sushant and Hrithik.”

Mansoor first shared the image on Instagram last month to wish Hrithik a happy birthday. He had said in his caption, “Hrithik Roshan, happy birthday, bhai. You are a super star with a pure heart, someone who is very sensible and modest as well as compassionate and loving. You constantly respect and value other people’s talent! Also a very kind person…” At the time, someone had written, “Yeh toh Sushant hai bhai (brother, this is Sushant)” as a comment on his post.

The Hindi version of Pushkar-2017 Gayathri’s Tamil film of the same name, Vikram Vedha, was made. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Shraddha Srinath, Vijay Sethupathi, and R Madhavan all starred in the original movie. It was a box office success when it was released in 2017. The Hindi version of the movie also starred Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte in addition to Hrithik. With Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, Hrithik is now producing the action movie Fighter. The film’s director is Siddharth Anand.

Rhea posted two unguarded photos of herself with Sushant Singh Rajput along with the hashtag “(infinity sign) +1” on Instagram. In the first image, the two of them were seen candidly posing between two mugs. The second was a joyful selfie that they both took.

Shibani Dandekar and Krishna Shroff, two of Rhea‘s friends, left heart-shaped emojis in the post’s comments. While many continued to attribute the actor’s passing to Rhea, many also sent him birthday wishes.

Few days after Rhea left their shared Bandra home where they were staying, Sushant was discovered dead. The Narcotics Control Bureau detained her and her younger brother Showik Chakraborty after his death prompted an inquiry into a drug nexus in Bollywood. After 28 days, she was granted bail and maintained her innocence.

Chehre, a 2021 movie directed by Rummy Jafry and shot in 2019–2020, featured Rhea for the final time. Emran Hashmi, Amitabh Bachchan, Siddhanth Kapoor, Raghubir Yadav, and Annu Kapoor were among the other actors in the movie. Rhea posted a radio station video and a message on Instagram about a year ago “After two years, I returned to work yesterday. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me at my darkest moments. The sun always shines, no matter what. Never surrender.”

Currently, Bunty Sajdeh, the head of a talent management company in India, is said to be dating Rhea. He is Seema Sajdeh’s brother, a reality television personality. Fans started speculating about Disha and Aleksander Alex IIic’s relationship earlier this month when the model uploaded sappy photos of the two together on social media. Although neither Disha nor Ilic have explicitly acknowledged their relationship, Ilic did spoke about it in an interview with Bombay Times in 2022. In the 2018 film Baaghi 2, which was directed by Ahmed Khan, Disha and Tiger collaborated. Additionally, Disha appeared in a song in Tiger Baaghi 3. Tiger’s first movie was Heropanti opposite Kriti Sanon, while Disha made her acting debut in 2016 with MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, which also starred Sushant Singh Rajput.
