NCB summons Karan Johar in drug case

After Sushant Singh Rajput‘s demise, many Bollywood celebrities are under hot water and filmmaker Karan Johar tops the list. He is being called the movie mafia, king of nepotism, and many other things after Shushant’s death shook the industry.

Karan Johar was recently summoned by India’s Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the drug case linked to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

According to Indian media, the notice was issued to Karan after one of his videos from a party organized by himself in 2019 went viral on social media in which several Bollywood stars seemed to be drugged.

Arbaaz Khan takes legal action for linking his name to SSR, Disha Salihan death case

Actor Arbaaz Khan, brother of legendary Salman Khan, took legal action over his name being dragged in Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian’s death.

According to reports, Arbaaz Khan has gone ahead and filed a defamation case against certain known as well unknown social media users who alleged his involvement in the deaths of Sushant and Disha Salian. Arbaaz has filed a lawsuit against those sharing posts and videos to allege and drag his name in the deaths of the two, reports said.

However, the Bombay High Court passed the interim order against named defendants Sakshi Bhandari and Vibhor Anand and certain unknown defendants to immediately take down the defamatory content that was appealed against in the defamation suit.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian’s deaths have been under investigation. Sushant’s case is currently being probed by the CBI SIT, the Enforcement Directorate, and the Narcotics Control Bureau. Sushant Singh had died on June 14, 2020, whereas Disha Salian passed away on June 8 in Mumbai.

Their deaths sparked outrage on social media and fans have been demanding justice for Sushant on social media platforms.

Sonam Kapoor details how online hatred, criticism affected her mental health

After Sushant Singh Rajput’s mysterious death and a debate on nepotism in the industry, number of celebrities including Sonam Kapoor had faced extreme criticism online.

Reacting to all the backlash, Sonam detailed how all the online abuse affected her mental health and let to her stress levels escalating.

During an interview, the actress said: “I had some stressful times in the last three or four months, mentally. There is a lot of stuff that happens on social media, there is a lot of hate and talk of a lot of things.”

“It put me in a very low and negative space. But now I am much better,” she added.

Following the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, many actors with film backgrounds in their families, received heavy backlash.

Detailing the hate she received on social media, Sonam had earlier written on Instagram: “Yes I’ve switched off my comment section and my parents comment section because I don’t want my 64 year old parents to go through this. They did nothing to deserve this. And I’m not doing it out of fear you morons I’m doing it out of common sense to preserve my mental health and my parents.”

Sonam Kapoor Turned Off Her Instagram Comments 

Sonam Kapoor had also disabled her comments section on Instagram. The actress said that she feels sorry for the people with such hate in their hearts.

The actress said that such extreme hate and negativity is triggering her friends and family.
