Rohit Saraf Reveals Exciting Details About ‘Ishq Vishk’ Sequel

Rohit Saraf has finally revealed details about the highly-anticipated sequel to Shahid Kapoor’s 2003 film, ‘Ishq Vishk.’

Titled ‘Ishk Vishk’ Rebound, the film features Rohit Saraf alongside Pashmina Roshan, Hrithik Roshan’s cousin, and Jibraan Khan, known for his role in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

During an interview, the ‘Mismatched’ star expressed his excitement for the project but also admitted to feeling nervous. He believes that audiences, especially his own fanbase, will thoroughly enjoy the film.

Rohit clarified that ‘Ishk Vishk’ Rebound shares no similarities with the original ‘Ishq Vishk’, except for the name. He emphasized that he won’t be stepping into Shahid Kapoor’s shoes and that the two films are distinct in terms of their stories. ‘Ishk Vishk’ Rebound portrays a tale of modern love and friendship in the year 2023.

Prior to this project, Rohit Saraf was last seen in the film Vikram Vedha, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan.

On the set of his movie Vikram Vedha (2022), Hrithik Roshan can be seen posing with stuntman Mansoor Ali Khan. Fans of the late Sushant Singh Rajput were stunned when a paparazzo posted the flashback image on Instagram on Thursday, calling Hrithik’s stuntman a “copy of SSR” (Sushant Singh Rajput). Mansoor and Sushant seem so much alike that fans were compelled to comment on the late actor, who passed away in 2020, in the post’s comments section.

Hrithik Roshan and Mansoor were pictured while filming for Vikram Vedha wearing matching black shirts and pants. Fans remarked that Mansoor resembled Sushant exactly, albeit with longer, messier hair and a beard. Oh my God, SSR (Sushant Singh Rajput) replica, said a fan. Someone more commented, “Stuntman reminds me of SSR.” The fact that he resembles SSR and that his name is Mansoor—the name of Sushant’s character in Kedarnath (2018)—was noted by another fan. “Ek pal ko laga Sushant hai Hritik ke sath,” said another. “For a second, I thought it was Sushant and Hrithik.”

Mansoor first shared the image on Instagram last month to wish Hrithik a happy birthday. He had said in his caption, “Hrithik Roshan, happy birthday, bhai. You are a super star with a pure heart, someone who is very sensible and modest as well as compassionate and loving. You constantly respect and value other people’s talent! Also a very kind person…” At the time, someone had written, “Yeh toh Sushant hai bhai (brother, this is Sushant)” as a comment on his post.

The Hindi version of Pushkar-2017 Gayathri’s Tamil film of the same name, Vikram Vedha, was made. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Shraddha Srinath, Vijay Sethupathi, and R Madhavan all starred in the original movie. It was a box office success when it was released in 2017. The Hindi version of the movie also starred Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte in addition to Hrithik. With Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, Hrithik is now producing the action movie Fighter. The film’s director is Siddharth Anand.

Day 5 of “Vikram Vedha” box office: Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s film crossed Rs 50 crore

Even on weekdays, “Vikram Vedha” has been able to bring in average audiences. The movie has experienced multiple ups and downs at the box office since its Rs 10 crore debut.

“Vikram Vedha,” starring Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan, increased its total on Tuesday by Rs 5.75 crore net, bringing it to Rs 48.75 crore. The movie fell short of the 50 crore mark in just five days, but Wednesday’s Dusshera holiday is anticipated to boost its box office performance.

In the upcoming days, it is anticipated that the “Vikram Vedha” collection will increase in the Gujarat/Saurashtra and CPCI circuits. Vikram Vedha is projected to make about Rs 60 crore net at the end of its first week in theatres. This Friday, “Vikram Vedha” will have some rivalry with “Goodbye” and the Hindi dub of “God Father.”

He had shared, “To become ‘Vedha’ I had to first find comfort in being a ‘yeda’. 9 months of prepping & being Vedha – from October 2021 to June 2022. Exactly the time human lives take to birth. Vedha has been a process of moulding from scratch, today it’s a character I’m proud of. Learning to talk, walk, dance, eat & live like Vedha has been sheer joy. There may not be Hrithik in Vedha, but there will always remain Vedha in Hrithik.”
