Opposition doing politics by risking people’s lives, says Murad Saeed

Murad Saeed

Minister for Communication Murad Saeed has on Sunday said that the Opposition is only thinks of its benefits and doing politics at the cost of people’s lives.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad today (Sunday), Murad said opposition’s demand for public rallies in current spike of the pandemic shows that lives of the people are of no value to them.

He said Pakistan evolved such a strategy to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic that was highly appreciated and acknowledged by the world.

The Minister said the past rulers had left the national economy in worse condition, but the incumbent government, with untiring efforts, succeeded to stabilize it.

Earlier in a day, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the opposition alliance is playing politics by putting people’s lives at stake.

In her recent statement, Firdous Ashiq said that the opposition is engaged in conspiracies against the development of the country and the welfare of the people.

She said that the alliance of the opposition had become a major reason for spreading the deadly virus in the country.

Criticizing the COVID-19 infected PPP’s Bilawal Bhutto, she said that the prince is sitting in palace and insists masses to attend gatherings.

She said that the ongoing meetings of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will not be successful in ending the regime of Imran Khan, however, these rallies are working as a major catalyst in the rampant increase in the COVID-19 in Pakistan.

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan added that the novel coronavirus cases escalated after the Peshawar meeting but the Opposition alliance despite of realizing the situation is only interested in power.
