Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, who served as the 15th Prime Minister of Pakistan from 2002 until his resignation in 2004, passed away today (Wednesday).
Earlier, Zafarullah Jamali was put on the ventilator after his health deteriorated as he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Soon after his demise, several political leaders and public figures expressed deep sorrow over the irreparable loss. They termed him as the only ‘hero of politics’.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa felt deep grief on the sad demise of Mir Zafarullah Jamali.
In his Twitter message, COAS wrote, “May Allah bless his soul & give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss, Ameen”.
