Bollywood actress and politician Urmila Matondkar has garnered attention for her valuable relationship advice to young women, following speculation about her divorce from husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir after eight years of marriage. While Matondkar has yet to address the divorce rumors, a past interview of hers has resurfaced, where she shared insightful advice for young girls.
In the viral video, Urmila advises, “You don’t need to have a boyfriend to think you are cool and happening. Just explore your lives, there is so much out there. Pehle apni personality ko nikharo aur samjho fir boyfriends and all.” She emphasized that life is much bigger than relationships, and unfortunately, many women realize this too late.

In an interaction with Pinkvilla, Matondkar added, “Having boyfriends, husbands, and children is great, but one should understand themselves first and learn about what they want before jumping into a relationship.” She further highlighted how women today have more freedom and opportunities to explore their individuality, something that was not always available in the past.
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss Khabri has reported that Urmila is in talks to join Bigg Boss 18, set to premiere on October 6, 2024, with Salman Khan returning as host. If confirmed, she will join a list of speculated contestants, including Nia Sharma and Urfi Javed’s sister, Urusa.
