Recalling Shah Rukh’s unwavering commitment during an 18-day shoot for “Brahmastra,” without any monetary compensation, Johar elaborated, “He just gave his heart, time, body everything for that sequence. It was a large sequence. If I go again to him, it will be too much. Shah Rukh never says no to me. But I can’t keep going to him. I think you need to keep that card very close. I will use it because I have that kind of access to Mr Khan but I don’t want to keep using it for no reason.”

It’s worth noting that Karan Johar produced “Brahmastra,” directed by Ayan Mukerji, which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

In a recent development, actor Shiney Ahuja, renowned for his roles in movies like “Gangster” and “Woh Lamhe,” has been granted permission to renew his passport for a period of ten years by the Bombay High Court. The decision comes amidst his past conviction for rape in 2011, a case that led to his imprisonment for seven years. Currently out on bail, Ahuja was initially restricted from leaving the country without court approval, although this constraint was later eased.

The Bombay High Court’s decision to extend Ahuja’s passport renewal was based on a plea submitted by the actor himself, requesting a longer validity for his passport. Ahuja’s advocate, Karamsingh Rajput, argued that the actor faced practical difficulties when traveling due to the limitation of having his passport renewed for just one year. Many countries require Indian nationals to hold passports with a validity of at least six months for entry.

Justice Amit Borkar, presiding over a single bench, highlighted that Ahuja had adhered to the conditions set upon his release on bail in 2011. The judge noted, “It appears that during the pendency of the present appeal, the passport of the applicant has been renewed six times. It is, therefore, unlikely that the applicant carries flight risk.”

Moreover, the court recognized that Ahuja’s compliance with bail terms remained intact even after his passport had been renewed six times. The court concluded that Ahuja had presented a convincing case for the passport authority to renew his passport for a decade. Additionally, the court emphasized that the pending status of Ahuja’s appeal shouldn’t impede the extension of his passport for another ten years, provided he meets the necessary requirements.

Shiney Ahuja’s legal troubles stemmed from a complaint filed by his domestic help in June 2009, accusing him of sexual assault at his Mumbai residence. Subsequently, Ahuja was arrested on June 14, 2009. The trial court found him guilty of the offense under section 376 (punishment for rape) of the Indian Penal Code on March 30, 2011, resulting in a seven-year prison sentence. Ahuja appealed against the verdict and was granted bail on April 27, 2011, albeit with travel restrictions. These travel restrictions were later relaxed.

The court confirmed that the sexual assault case against Ahuja would be addressed in due course, marking a pivotal point in his ongoing legal journey.

Now, after 25 years of discussions and speculations about potential collaborations, the duo’s reunion is finally coming to fruition. Salman Khan is set to star in director Vishnu Vardhan’s upcoming film, produced by Karan Johar’s banner, Dharma Productions.

The collaboration between Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Vishnu Vardhan has been in the works for the past six months, with all the pieces falling into place. This film marks Salman’s next major project after “Tiger 3.” The shooting is scheduled to commence in November 2023 and will span several schedules over 7 to 8 months. Notably, this project explores a genre that neither Salman nor Karan has ventured into before.

Described as a special undertaking, everyone involved is eagerly anticipating the film’s commencement in November 2023. This will be Vishnu Vardhan’s second foray into the Hindi film industry after “SherShaah.” Pre-production activities are slated to begin in August 2023, with extensive and unprecedented action sequences planned for the movie.

Anticipation is high for the film’s release, which is targeted for Christmas 2024 in theaters worldwide. The untitled action-packed movie is poised to be the standout release of 2024, strategically taking advantage of the festive Christmas season. Salman Khan is dedicating time to preparing for his role, involving physical training and mastering the character’s body language.

In the current landscape, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of “Tiger 3,” scheduled for Diwali 2023 and directed by Maneesh Sharma. He also has other projects in the pipeline, including the YRF-produced “Tiger vs Pathaan” and Sooraj Barjatya’s “Prem Ki Shaadi.”

The 44-year-old actress revealed that her daughter Devi had to undergo a challenging six-hour operation for ventricular septal defect (VSD) shortly after birth. Devi was conceived through IVF, and just three days after delivery, Basu received the heartbreaking news about the two holes in her daughter’s heart.

Basu described the initial days as extremely difficult, revealing that she spent the first 40 days and nights without a moment’s sleep. It took her nearly 40 days to come to terms with the situation, accept it, and understand the gravity of her daughter’s medical condition.

Adding to the already challenging situation, Basu’s husband, Karan Singh Grover, was away from the city due to a film shoot, leaving her feeling lonely and isolated. Even though Grover attempted to return, his work commitments hindered him from being there for 15 crucial days.

To safeguard her daughter’s health, Basu made the difficult decision of not allowing anyone with cold or cough symptoms to meet Devi. This led her to keep the matter to herself, causing her family to wonder about her unusual behavior during that time. However, Basu’s protective instincts for her daughter were fierce, and she was determined to shield Devi from any potential risk.

Fortunately, after a challenging period, the family has now entered a more normal phase. Basu expressed joy in being able to take Devi on holidays and let her freely interact with animals at friends’ houses. She praised her daughter’s fearless and adventurous nature, highlighting how Devi loves all creatures and shows remarkable courage in various situations.

Currently, the family of three is leading a beautiful life together, with Karan Singh Grover gearing up for his upcoming film “Fighter,” alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, directed by Siddharth Anand.
