Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has reunited with Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan for what he calls “2025 ka biggest blockbuster.” The dynamic duo, last seen together in Simmba (2018), is back in an exciting new project, and fans can’t keep calm!

Taking to social media, Shetty dropped a teaser featuring Ranveer and Sara in striking new avatars. Ranveer sports long, scruffy hair with a red headband, while Sara stuns in a chic desi fusion look. The clip shows them joyfully dancing together before an intense shift—an angry crowd wielding weapons surrounds them. The teaser leaves fans with a burning question: “Kya hoga pyaar? Ya hogi takraar?”

Shetty’s caption fueled speculation: “Drama, action, romance – sab milega ek hi kahani mein! 2025 ka biggest blockbuster coming soon. #ComingSoon.”

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty has confirmed that his next project will be Golmaal 5, reuniting with A-list actor Ajay Devgn. This marks a departure from Shetty’s successful cop universe, which includes blockbuster films like Singham and Singham Again.

In a recent interview, Shetty revealed that after the success of Singham Again, he will next focus on the fifth installment of his beloved comedy franchise, Golmaal. “I think before any cop film for sure Golmaal will be the next,” he said.

Shetty, who is known for his high-octane action films, explained that working on Golmaal provides a refreshing break from intense projects. “Whenever it’s such a big Singham, after Singham, I want to be in that world where it is lighter and happier and I’m not worried,” he shared, excited to return to the Golmaal world after seven years.

The Golmaal franchise, originally created by Neeraj Vora and directed by Shetty, began in 2006 with Golmaal: Fun Unlimited. The series continued with sequels Golmaal Returns (2008), Golmaal 3 (2010), and Golmaal Again (2017), all featuring Ajay Devgn alongside other stars like Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, and Shreyas Talpade.

Arjun Kapoor has impressed audiences since his debut in Ishaqzaade in 2012, appearing in many successful films. However, some of his recent projects haven’t performed well at the box office. Despite this, Rohit Shetty has cast him as the villain in the upcoming action film Singham Again.

When asked why Shetty chose Kapoor, filmmaker Milap Zaveri explained that Shetty recognized the actor’s talent and passion. Milap, who wrote dialogues for Singham Again, shared with Siddharth Kannan that Shetty is a visionary who supports people regardless of their current career status.

He said, “He saw talent and passion in Arjun Kapoor for Singham Again. He believed that Arjun Kapoor just needed the right opportunity, and that’s his genius. Once the film releases, we will see how right Rohit was.”

Milap also mentioned how Shetty helped him during a difficult time in his career after Satyameva Jayate 2. He praised Shetty, saying, “He is one of India’s biggest directors and genuinely a nice person. When he walks on set, the whole crew respects him.”

Singham Again is a direct sequel to Singham Returns (2014) and is the fifth film in Shetty’s franchise. Alongside Arjun, the movie features stars like Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, and more. Produced by Rohit, Ajay, and Jyoti Deshpande, Singham Again is set to release on November 1, 2024, during Diwali.

In honor of “Chennai Express” reaching its 10-year mark on August 8, the esteemed fan club unveiled plans for special screenings of the 2013 blockbuster comedy starring SRK and Deepika. This re-release event took place on Wednesday, August 9, across more than 52 cities. The fan club shared the movie’s poster on Instagram and revealed the list of cities where the screenings would occur. Their announcement read, “BREAKING: As we await #Jawan, we are all set to celebrate #10YearsOfChennaiExpress. On its 10th anniversary, we have organized free screenings of #ChennaiExpress on 9th August 2023 in over 50 cities in India for all the fans!!!”

Interestingly, a unique connection between “Chennai Express” and “Jawan” emerged through the first song, “Zinda Banda.” This track has brought back the lungi trend, with over 1000 background dancers donning lungis in the extravagant scenes of “Jawan.” Moreover, the song also reunites Shah Rukh Khan with Priyamani, who had previously danced alongside him in the lively track “1234 Get On The Dance Floor” from “Chennai Express.”

This isn’t the first instance of the fan club organizing a screening for an SRK film. Last year, they hosted a screening of one of Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest blockbusters, “Om Shanti Om,” commemorating the film’s 15th anniversary, two months before the release of his comeback movie, “Pathaan.”

Directed by Rohit Shetty, “Chennai Express” featured Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in leading roles. The film’s ensemble cast included Nikitin Dheer, Sathyaraj, Kamini Kaushal, Lekh Tandon, Mukesh Tiwari, and Yogi Babu, among others. In order to choose a candidate for his forthcoming stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, Rohit Shetty attended the Bigg Boss 16 season finale shows. The top 5 contestants of Bigg Boss 16 were given horrible tasks by the daredevil host, and they were forced to the brink of their abilities as they attempted to hold their breath underwater, avoid electric shocks, do life-threatening bicycle feats, and face their anxieties. Shalin Bhanot was the one who pulled off the antics flawlessly.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Shalin Bhanot battled against one another in the final stunt. Shalin performed the stunt in 30 seconds, compared to Priyanka’s 1 minute and 30 seconds. Shalin Bhanot was then introduced by Rohit Shetty as the season 13 debutant of Khatron Ke Khiladi. Shalin, however, declined to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 13. Later, as he left the show, Rohit said that more than one Bigg Boss 16 contestant would take part in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. It would be intriguing to see who else will have the chance to participate in Rohit Shetty’s reality series with stunts.

Shalin Bhanot started his career with Roadies 2, and he has since been in a number of well-known programmes, including Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Kulvuddhu, Kaajjal, Grihasti, Suryaputra Karn, Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush, Naagin 4, Do Hanson Ka Jodaa, Nach Baliye, and Yeh Hai Aashiqui, among others. He is now imprisoned inside the Bigg Boss 16 house.

According to reports, Shalin Bhanot will shortly begin filming for Ekta Kapoor’s show after his time on Bigg Boss 16 has concluded. Bollywood popular filmmaker Rohit Shetty suffers an injury while filming his cop web series Indian Police Force.

During the recording, Rohit hurt his finger. He was delivered right away to the Kamineni Medical Center. His team attested to the fact that he had therapy and is now recovering. According to the team, the series’ director has also started shooting again.

The representative for Rohit said: “Rohit Shetty has got some minor injury on his fingers while executing an action sequence for his upcoming web series Indian Police Force last night. The injury was immediately treated. And, he resumed his shooting shortly after the incident.”

The planned police drama was first officially revealed by Amazon Prime and Rohit Shetty Picturez on April 20, 2022.

On the other hand, Rohit also unveiled the news as he wrote: “INDIAN POLICE FORCE Our cop universe goes digital And when we go Digital it has to be BIG. Proud to bring you India’s biggest Action series on Amazon prime. #FilmingNow @sidmalhotra @rohitshettypicturez @primevideoin, reports.”

Rohit Shetty’s upcoming web series Indian Police Force also stars Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi.
