COVID-19: Pakistan records 71 deaths and 2,729 new cases

In the last 24 hours, Pakistan has recorded 2,729 new corona cases and 71 deaths due to the novel virus.

According to the details, the total death toll due to COVID-19 in Pakistan is 8,724 as 71 more people lost their lives. However, during the last 24 hours, 2,116 patients have recovered from the virus during and 2,470 patients are in critical condition.

The total active corona cases are 45,124 and a 6.5% positivity rate was recorded in the country.

With the new coronavirus cases, the national tally of cases currently stands at 435,056.

During this period, 41,426 tests were conducted across Pakistan. 381,208 people have recovered from the deadly virus so far.
