Mental health issues affect more than 80 million in Pakistan

More than 80 million people have some mental health issue or disorder in Pakistan according to the reports.

As per the details, the Ministry of Health laid out the statistics pertaining to mental health in the National Assembly session chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

The Health Ministry reported an alarming upsurge in mental disorders in Pakistan. It revealed that over 80 million people are afflicted with psychological problems in Pakistan.

The report also mentioned the existence of facilities for mental treatment in all major hospitals of Pakistan.
