LAHORE: Senior Vice President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz on Friday said Imran Khan is responsible for the current situation of Pakistan.

Chief Organizer of PML-N Maryam Nawaz while addressing a press conference in Lahore, said “If the state wants to arrest someone, it does not take more than five minutes, but the state does not want any bloodshed or loss of life.”

PML-N leader said Imran Khan should write down that he will come to court on every appearance, and if he is not arrested, the cases should be tried. She said that Imran Khan will appear as an undertaking in all the cases and he should be arrested when the cases are decided.

She said that who allowed Zalmay Khalilzad to interfere in internal affairs. She further said the state was attacked by the members of the banned organization in Lahore and Imran Khan is doing all this to avoid arrest.

Maryam Nawaz said that political parties are known for their struggle and sacrifices but a person who calls himself a political leader has staged a show in Lahore for the last five days to avoid arrest.

Maryam Nawaz said that a person has kept the constitution under the shoes of his feet and even today his warrant has been suspended by the court. She questioned why does he have this facility. She said democracy is the only way forward, accountability of undemocratic people.  She said democracy will be strong in a country where there is justice.

She said that the root of every disease in Pakistan is Imran Khan and the fabric of every problem in Pakistan is connected to Imran. She said Imran Khan is responsible for the current situation in Pakistan and added that she feels pain whenever mentions his name.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People Party (PPP) leader and former opposition leader of the Senate Aitzaz Ahsan said that Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, and Rana Sanaullah do not want elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A special meeting was held in the Senate in connection with the Golden Jubilee Celebrations, on the proposal of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, the Senate meeting was converted into a Committee of the Whole.

Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani said that this struggle will continue for the promotion of a balanced democratic system while Aitzaz Ahsan said that the house of another politician is being raided at the behest of a civilian politician.

The former opposition leader of the Senate, Aitzaz Ahsan, said in his address that the Senate is playing a very sensitive role, the Senate can create balance in all units, currently, there are many deprivations in Balochistan, in the explosions in Balochistan and the attacks on the Hazara community. He said Senate should play its role in this regard.

Aitzaz Ahsan said that there is no political solution with the forces or security agencies. He said shells are falling near his house in Lahore. He said they are standing behind us today and they will be behind someone else tomorrow. He said this is a matter of grave concern for us.

LAHORE: Senior Vice President Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz has said that Nawaz Sharif will save the nation from the problems and the jackals who created them.

A meeting of the central organization of Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Gujranwala Division was held under the supervision of Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz, in which federal ministers including Khawaja Asif, Pervaiz Rasheed, Rana Sanaullah, Khurram Dastgir, and others participated.

She also said that team Gujranwala has given a coaching challenge to other divisions of the party. She hoped and believed that all the divisions of the party will accept this challenge.

Maryam Nawaz said that PML-N leadership is honest and competent. She said accusers are hiding their faces and the specters are imprisoned in the houses.

Maryam Nawaz also said that it is not the first time that we have seen a country plunged into difficult economic conditions, when the country plunges into problems only then Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif have to come.

Maryam Nawaz, Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer of Pakistan Muslim League (N) praised the Sharif brothers stating that the former Prime Minister Mr. Nawaz Sharif, and currently serving prime minister of Pakistan Mr. Shehbaz Sharif has constantly rescued the country from every problem it has encountered, with remarkable success.

She addressed the central organization of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Gujranwala Division during a meeting as chairwoman, where the performance of officials and workers was acknowledged for their extensive efforts during the organizational convention in Gujranwala.

Additionally, Maryam Nawaz noted that Gujranwala is always at the forefront whether there’s an election or a fight against fascism. Conventions have been a prized means of fortifying the party’s identity and promoting it, making it better, stronger, and more active.

Maryam Nawaz also highlighted that those who obliterated your identity and Jamaat were eradicated by the grace of Allah. Spectators are confined to their homes, and the country has repeatedly descended into difficult economic conditions.

“When problems prevail, it is always Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif who step up to take control of the situation. Presently, the situation is certainly dramatic, but with the help of Almighty Allah, the troubled economy will recover just as previous energy shortages have subsided. The economy is being deliberately sabotaged but as usual, it is the lion that will save the nation from the conspirators and the jackals who created them,” she stated.

She also said that “the truck of honesty was caught with the drivers, bringing the conspirators to justice.”

Furthermore, central senior leaders of the party – Khawaja Asif, Parvez Rasheed, and Rana Sanaullah – were in attendance at the meeting.

SARGODHA: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will form its government by defeating the opposition in Punjab.

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah while addressing the PML-N workers convention in Sargodha  said that the party has never been afraid of going to the public, the PML-N has started the election campaign under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz.

He said, “We want to make it clear that we are neither afraid of the election nor have we retreated from it. We are of the opinion that the election should be joint and transparent. The election should be held jointly in national and provincial assemblies.”

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah further said that justice should not only be done but should also be seen to be done.

RAWALPINDI: The organizational convention of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz  (PML-N) will be held in Rawalpindi today.

Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer PML-N Maryam Nawaz Sharif will address the organizational convention today.

An organizational meeting of the party will also be held tomorrow under the chairmanship of Maryam Nawaz, in which the organizational structure of the party’s Rawalpindi division will be reviewed.

The sessions related to women, youth wing and social media will also be held separately.

It should be noted that Maryam Nawaz had started nationwide organizational tours from February 1.

LAHORE: The issue of the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan has created a new dispute between Senior Vice President of PML-N Maryam Nawaz and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Sources said that after the interim bail of Imran Khan was rejected, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi strongly opposed the arrest of Imran Khan, while Maryam Nawaz is in favor of the immediate arrest of the former prime minister.

Sources said that according to Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the arrest of Imran Khan will be called political revenge, however, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has conveyed his advice that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

On the other hand, Maryam Nawaz has expressed her opinion and said that Imran Khan should be arrested immediately, once the PTI chief is arrested, his popularity will be decreased.

According to the sources, the government has fallen into trouble due to the conflicting thinking of Maryam Nawaz and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, while the government has left the matter to the situation.

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has refused to accept PML-N’s chief organizer and senior vice president Maryam Nawaz as a leader.

In his statement, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said “Nawaz Sharif is my leader, not Maryam Nawaz, I am Maryam’s uncle, even Benazir was not allowed by the uncles.”

He further said that Maryam Nawaz might have had a grudge and therefore resigned, but there was no distance from PML-N, contact with Nawaz Sharif, and the party is still established.

Earlier, senior leader of PML-N Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, in a special interview with Bol News, said “ he has resigned from the position of the party, but I am with the party, I am a colleague of Mian Nawaz, I have spent my whole life in the party. And I will stay at the same party.”

He said that Maryam Nawaz has come to a leadership position, she needs space, when a new generation comes, the old people have to be led in a new role.

It should be noted that Shahid Khan Abbasi had resigned as the senior vice president of the party, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had been dissatisfied with the party policies for a long time.

Later, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had a long one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Sources said that during the meeting, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi decided not to resign from the Energy Saving Committee and Reform Committees.
