Top police officials, including Inspector General (IG) Additional IG Sindh, have decided to go on leaves over the issue of the arrest of Captain (retd) Safdar.

Imran Yaqub Minhas’s written request to Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police said that the recent registration of a case against Captain (retd) Safdar unduly interfered with the work and the police faced humiliation. This has made the police officers and employees heartbroken and depressed.

“In this environment of pressure, it is difficult to perform professional duties and I need 60 days off to get out of this pressure,” he said.
