LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Senior Vice President and Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz on Sunday said if the government did not accept to demands of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) then Pakistan would default, Bol News reported.
“The inflation is rising because of the agreement made by Imran Khan with the IMF,” Maryam Nawaz said in a statement. She said PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif had received ruined Pakistan in 2013 and then within a span of three years, in 2016, he said goodbye to the IMF.
She said now they again received Pakistan in a broken state in 2022. The wrist watch thief did not only steal the watch, but he destroyed the country as well, she maintained.

She said when Nawaz Sharif came into power, big projects were started. Bread, electricity, gas and other products became cheap, she added. She said whenever Nawaz Sharif’s government came inflation had reduced.
“Today is the day to express solidarity with Kashmir. We salute martyrs of Kashmir. One day Kashmir will become Pakistan,” she said.
Maryam Nawaz would visit Abbottabad on February 9 and also address a PML-N workers’ convention. This was announced by Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Javed Abbasi while chairing a meeting here on February 4.
The meeting in this regard decided to organize an impressive reception for Maryam Nawaz and started preparations for the workers’ convention. The meeting was attended by the leaders from across Hazara Division.
The minister said that Maryam Nawaz would address the PML-N workers’ convention on February 9, at 2 pm where party workers would also host a reception for their leader.
