The quantity of songs Honey Singh writes for Bollywood movies has decreased. Selfiee, a 2023 Bollywood movie starring Akshay Kumar and Diana Penty, has his first song. The lyrics for Kudi Chamkeeli were also penned by the singer-composer. Akshay and Diana can be seen dancing in the video to the upbeat dance song. The song video includes a disclaimer at the bottom stating that it is only for promotional purposes and will not be included in the movie.

Diana first appears in Kudi Chamkeeli as she enters a mall courtyard where she meets Akshay. She hangs out with her buddies as the actor tries to win her over with the song. At the end, Honey Singh also makes an appearance in the video and makes an attempt to talk to Diana, much to Akshay’s displeasure in the song.

Diana and Akshay are both dressed colourfully in the Kudi Chamkeeli. Diana Penty’s outfits for the dance music in the video actually make her shine. The song’s and the video’s pacing are both rather sluggish. To make the song more lively, it may have benefited from a little faster beat. Prince Gupta choreographed the single, and Ahmed Khan directed the music video.

In the YouTube channel’s comment area, fans praised Honey Singh’s homecoming. One supporter said, “2023 is Honey Singh’s year. Nothing feels better than seeing our icon getting back on track.” Yo Yo is back, another fan exclaimed. “Those childhood days with YO YO Honey Singh pure nostalgia truly feeling the OG Honey Singh feelings in this song.” Later this year, the singer-composer is reportedly singing a song on the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan movie, which stars Salman Khan.

Emraan Hashmi and Nushratt Bharuccha are also featured in Selfiee. Raj Mehta directed the Hindi version of the 2019 Malayalam film Driving Licence. Together with Driving Licence’s star, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Akshay serves as the movie’s producer. Dharma Productions, Magic Frames, Prithviraj, Cape of Good Films, and Star Studios are the producers of Selfiee. The Hindi movie, which was written by Rishhabh Sharrma, will open in theatres on February 24.

Soon, the February 24 release of the movie Selfiee will include Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. Days prior to the movie’s premiere, the stars were seen meeting fans inside the Mumbai Metro and dancing to their song Main Khiladi inside a moving train.

A video of Akshay Kumar and Emraan entering a recently opened Mumbai Metro station with their entourage and security was posted on Instagram on Thursday by paparazzi and fan pages. At one shot, the performers can be seen running to catch a train. When a flash mob joined them inside the train, they jumped up from their seats and joined in the dancing to their song Main Khiladi.

Akshay, who wore grey track trousers with a jumper, black cap and mask, and Emraan, who was clad in blue denim and jacket, performed the hook dance from the song, which was released on February 1. Oh my God, what everything they have to do for advertising, an Instagram user commented in response to their video being uploaded on a paparazzo account. “Promotion ke liye kuch bhi karte hai,” said another (they can do anything for the promotion of their film).

Main Khiladi is a remake of Main Khiladi Tu Anari from the 1994 action comedy of the same name, which was one of Akshay Kumar’s biggest hits at the time. Akshay and Saif Ali Khan were included in the original song. Akshay appears in the 2023 edition as well, however Emraan Hashmi is present this time. In the remake, both actors dance in colorful costumes while doing some catchy moves.

A adaptation of the Malayalam film Driving Licence, Selfiee stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. Selfiee also has Prithviraj Sukumaran as a co-producer, and the actor is anticipated to play a cameo in the movie. Diana Penty, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Raj Mehta all appear in the film Selfiee.

In the movie, Akshay is portraying the superstar Vijay Kumar, while Emraan’s character, an RTO officer, is a die-hard fan who wants to meet Akshay and snap a selfie with him. A struggle breaks out between the two over Akshay’s driver’s license. The stars of the movie Selfiee unveiled the second trailer on Wednesday. He uses a walking staff, but why?” Another person mentioned how the actor has been seen at numerous weddings all around the nation. He noted: “These days, Aamir Khan attends a lot of weddings. “I heed Dev Anand’s counsel. And I heed Akshay Kumar’s recommendation that we avoid eating after 6 o’clock. I sometimes use fillers when I am too thin. However, I would never have botox treatment since, in her words, “Botox feels like someone has inserted seeds into the cheeks on the left side and the right side.”

For the first time ever, Mumtaz was recently spotted in a TV programme. On season 13 of Indian Idol, she made a guest appearance alongside Dharmendra. She continues to be absent from movies though. Mumtaz once responded during a live session to a fan’s question on her comeback to the business, “Bollywood? I have no idea. I’m not sure if I’ll land the kind of part that genuinely speaks to my heart while also being kind and well-liked by others. She said, “First I will have to get my husband’s approval,” as her daughter laughed. He’ll say, “All right, you may do one.” So perhaps I will. In such case, no.

A remake of the 1990s hit dance song Mein Khiladi Tu Anari from the same-named movie is called Song Mein Khiladi. Akshay and Saif Ali Khan were the original singers of the song. This time, Emraan is filling Saif’s shoes.

The teaser for Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming song Main Khiladi from the movie Selfiee has been released. It is a remake of his popular song from the 1990s, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, from the movie of the same name, in which he and Saif Ali Khan danced together. Akshay and Emraan Hashmi dance to the popular dance music in the new song.

Sharing the teaser of the new song, Akshay Kumar wrote on Instagram, “Munh se seeti aur haath se taali bajaane ko ho tayyar (are you ready to whistle and clap)? Here’s a teaser of #MainKhiladi. Song drops 1st Feb!!” The new song features Akshay in a shimmery green blazer and Emraan Hashmi in a shimmery black jacket, as opposed to the original, which featured Akshay in a black blazer and tie and Saif in a brown jacket. They can also be seen performing one of the unique dance moves, in which Emraan imitates Saif by swaying while on the ground while Akshay dances in front of him.

Twinkle further wrote in her caption that as a kid, she used to love watching films, where the ‘heroes’ would wear fake moles and looked unrecognisable after they took them off. Actor Akshay Kumar has responded to claims that he charges between 50 and 100 crore for each movie. During his speech at the Selfiee trailer premiere on Sunday in Mumbai, he dodged questions from reporters regarding the typical costs he bills for each project.

Diana Penty, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Emran Hashmi also play major roles in Akshay’s upcoming movie Selfiee. It is a comedy-action movie. Emraan Hashmi will play the role of a police officer and be portrayed as Akshay’s “greatest fan” in the movie.

Akshay told the reporter at the premiere of Selfiee’s trailer ,“Mera badhiya reaction rehta hai. Tera kya reaction rehta hai? Tune bataya tha ki teri sherwani mein pareshani hui. Tujhe kaisa laga tha? (My reaction is always good. What was your reaction? You told me you had a problem while wearing sherwani) (laughs).”

Akshay asked, “Acha lagta hai na? Aur lagna bhi chahiye, kyunki positive baatein hai na. Bhagwan kare tere sath bhi ho. (It feels good, right? You should feel good because these are positive talks. I hope it happens with you always).”

Akshay discussed the expensive cinema tickets in India. “There are so many other things that need to be done and not just by the actors but the producers and theatres as well. I’ll tell you I want to bring down my prices by 30-40%.”

“Theatres need to understand that it’s recession time also. The audience has a limited amount of money to spend on entertainment. You cannot be spending so much on it. Everything has to change. And it’s not just the theatres. We have to work on the cost of me, the cost of making the film. Everything needs to be addressed,” he also added.

Selfiee trailer: Akshay and Emraan dispute over a driving license

On Sunday, Star Studios posted the trailer for the upcoming movie Selfiee to its YouTube site. Akshay Kumar was depicted as a “superstar” and Emraan Hashmi, a police officer, as his “greatest admirer” in the almost three-minute-long film. Emraan says his son and wants to take a selfie with their “idol.” He even threatens to divorce his wife, Nushrratt Bharuccha, if she speaks negatively about Akshay.

However, things go south when Akshay and Emraan Hashmi start to argue over (of all things) Akshay’s driver’s license. While Emraan claims he will have to obtain the license like a “ordinary man,” Akshay asserts that he will do so nonetheless. The teaser had scenes that were both funny and dramatic.

The song Main Khiladi Tu Anari is playing while Akshay and Emraan are seen in a disco dressed in shimmering attire. The song also features Diana Penty and Nushrratt. The original song is from the same-named 1994 film. Saif Ali Khan and Akshay appeared in it.

Akshay shared the trailer on Instagram on Sunday “I don’t sure who the antagonist of his story is, but the Selfie is definitely the hero in this story! View the Selfiee trailer right now. Selfiee debuts exclusively in theaters on February 24.”

The upcoming masala blockbuster marks the first time Akshay and Emraan have worked together. The movie Selfiee is scheduled to open in theaters on February 24. The Malayalam film Driving License has an official Hindi version in the form of Selfiee, which was directed by Raj Mehta. Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu played the leading parts in the movie.

In the remake, Akshay and Emraan will reprise their respective parts. The late Aruna Bhatia, Hiroo Yash Johar, Supriya Menon, Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Apoorva Mehta, and Listin Stephen are responsible for producing it.

In addition to Selfiee, it’s been said that Emraan will play a villain alongside Salman Khan in Yash Raj Film’s Tiger 3. The cast and crew of the movie have yet to make an official announcement.

On the other hand, Akshay will also appear in OMG: Oh My God 2 as well as the official Hindi remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and an action thriller with Tiger Shroff called Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
