The actor Shah Rukh Khan responded after a young girl confessed she didn’t appreciate the movie Pathaan. On Sunday, someone published a video of the young Ahana discussing the movie on Twitter. Shah Rukh is back on the big screen with Pathaan, an action-spy movie, after a four-year absence.

In the video, a person asked the child, “Ahana, kaunsi movie dekh k aayi thi (Which movie did you watch)?” She replied, “Pathaan.” The person asked her, “Did you like it?” She replied, “Nah.” The video ended with the person asking why and the child smiling. Despite this, Dangal’s total international earnings are still far in advance at 2000 crore, thanks to its wild success at the Chinese box office in 2017. Given that Dangal was also released in Mandarin in China and earned over 1200 crore, Pathaan has just edged out Dangal in the Hindi version of the competition.

Pathaan has made a total of $88.92 million (or around 730 crore) worldwide, according to a brand-new poster with the most recent box office figures. The espionage thriller Pathaan centers on Shah Rukh‘s titular Indian secret agent, who reappears to stop a terrorist attack on the Indian capital that is being plotted by Outfit X, a group of hired guns lead by Jim (John). Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana play important roles in the movie as well.

Shah Rukh’s first leading role on a major motion picture in four years is in Pathaan. In the spy world created by producer Aditya Chopra, it follows War, which starred Hrithik Roshan, and the previous three films Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Tiger Zinda Hai 2. Salman played the role of Tiger in Pathaan.

Sindh Censor Board banned unapproved screenings of ‘Pathaan’ in Pakistan

Had an unofficial embargo not been placed, Shah Rukh Khan’s most recent blockbuster movie Pathaan, which has millions of admirers in Pakistan, would undoubtedly have opened nationwide. Authorities banned the screening of Indian content in Pakistan, but a private company disobeyed the order.

After a story in Dawn on February 1 revealed unlawful screenings at various locations in Defence Housing Authority, the Sindh Board of Films Censor (SBFC) looked into social media pages that were selling tickets for private screenings of the SRK-Deepika movie.

The Pathaan movie will be screened in public at DHA on February 4, 2023, according to an announcement from the Sindh Censor Board. Tickets have already been reserved.

It should be emphasised that the SBFC only permits Board-certified movies to be seen in public or privately. Unless the film has been properly certified for public display by the Board, no one may manufacture or arrange a public or private screening of a film using a cinematograph, according to the SBFC.

According to SBFC Chairman Khalid Bin Shaheen, Section 4(10) of the Sindh Motion Pictures Act 2011 regulates a film’s public or private exhibition, and no one may do so without the Board’s consent. As a result, it is appropriate to cancel the screening right away.

The board asked Firework Events, who is in charge of the Pathaan screenings, immediately cancel its performances in light of the aforementioned clause as well as other regulations and penalties, such as up to three years in prison and fines of up to PKR 100,000. Fireworks Events cancelled all of its private screenings of SRK’s most recent film as a result of the warning.

According to the report, the notice sent to the aforementioned company warned that if found in violation of the said Act’s rules, they would be punished under Section 18(1), which states that if a film is illegally screened without the Board’s approval, the exhibitor is subject to a three-year prison sentence, a fine of Rs. 100,000, or both. In the event that the offence is continued, a daily fine of Rs 10,000 may be assessed.

He is the person I have to run my scripts and action sequences with before he says, “No, dad, this is in that movie.” You can’t do this; it’s already been done, so stop trying. What the hell do I do, I ask myself. I therefore borrow his strategies for moving things around. The director acknowledged that he had not seen enough Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, saying, “I think I should jump on the bandwagon and start viewing those pictures, so that there is no overlap.”

Fighter, another action movie, will be Siddharth’s upcoming release (2024). Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor will all appear in it.

Variety reports that the movie made £1.9 million overall, including last Wednesday and Thursday, and £1.4 million over the weekend (Friday through Sunday). With £3,19,000, Pathaan earned the highest opening day ever for an Indian film in the UK.
