Two soldiers martyred in separate gun battles

The first engagement occurred in South Waziristan District.
Second encounter took place in Miran Shah, North Waziristan.
Two terrorists were killed and one injured in fire with troops.

RAWALPINDI: Two Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in two separate gun battles took place between security forces and the terrorists in North and South Waziristan districts.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first engagement occurred in the general area Asman Munza, South Waziristan District, where troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location as a result of which one terrorist was sent to hell, while one terrorist got injured.

However, during intense exchange of fire, 31-years old Sepoy Sajid Azam resident of Kotli, Azad Kashmir having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat.

In another intense fire exchange between security forces and terrorists in general area of Miran Shah, North Waziristan District; one terrorist was sent to hell, whereas a brave son of soil, 27-years Sepoy Waris Khan resident of District Karak paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.

Sanitization is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.

Security forces kill six terrorists in North Waziristan

Six terrorists were sent to hell and eight others were injured.
33-Years old Sepoy Abdul Hakeem embraced martyrdom.

RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed six terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Mir Ali, North Waziristan while a soldier also embraced martyrdom.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the operation, an intense fire exchange took place between troops and terrorists, as a result, Six terrorists were sent to hell, while eight terrorists were injured.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists who were actively involved in terrorist acts against security forces and target killing of innocent civilians.

However, during an intense exchange of fire, 33-year-old Sepoy Abdul Hakeem resident of District Naseerabad having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.

Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

CTD arrests 13 terrorists from different cities of Punjab

LAHORE: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has arrested 13 terrorists of banned organizations from different cities of Punjab.

Spokesperson CTD said the terrorists were planning to attack government offices and important installations. CTD arrested 13 terrorists during intelligence-based operation in different cities of Punjab.

The spokesman said that operations were conducted in Lahore, Attock, Bahawalnagar, Jhelum, Bahawalpur, Sheikhupura and Rawalpindi.

The CTD recovered explosive materials, 29 data netters, Prima cards, mobile phones, weapons, bullets and cash were recovered from the possession of the terrorists.

CTD said that terrorists were planning to attack government offices and important installations.

Terrorist killed during exchange of fire with security forces

RAWALPINDI: Security Forces conducted an intelligence based operation(IBO) in general area Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

During conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between troops and terrorists, resultantly one terrorist was sent to hell while one got injured.

Security Forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the killed terrorist, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent civilians.

The locals of the area appreciated the operation.

Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

PESHAWAR: As many as 11 people were killed in a terrorist attack in Shawal Tehsil of North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP).

According to Deputy Commissioner Rehan Gul, terrorists blew up a vehicle with explosives, as a result of which 11 workers in the vehicle died.

Officials said that 13 laborers were riding in the vehicle, two people were seriously injured in the explosion, while the bodies of the dead and injured were shifted to the hospital.

Officials say that the deceased belonged to Makin and Wanna tehsils of South Waziristan.

Security forces foil terrorist activity in Chaman

RAWALPINDI: Security forces foiled a terrorist activity in Chaman area of Balochistan and recovered a huge cache of arms, and ammunition in an intelligence-based operation (IBO).

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was carried out in area of Boghra Road Chaman area of Balochistan to search a suspected hideout of terrorists, linked with recent firing incidents on law enforcement agencies and civilians in Chaman area and planting of improvised explosive devices in surrounding areas.

As a result of continuous technical surveillance and reconnaissance of the area, a location of the terrorists was identified and security forces along with CTD were inducted.

Resultantly, while terrorists had already escaped, a huge cache of arms and ammunition including rockets, improvised explosive devices and other accessories has been recovered. The recovery has helped avert an obvious terrorist activity at some urban areas like Quetta.
