When asked about the current social media and paparazzi culture, Shahid acknowledged the shift, saying, “Now, you are aware that it is 100% going to happen. At that time, we were caught off guard… So, it is like an informed devil as opposed to an uninformed devil scenario. In Mumbai on Wednesday, veteran actor Sameer Khakhar passed away from multiple organ failure. He was best known for playing Khopdi in the iconic television series Nukkad in 1986. Working together on the actor’s final part, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK recalled the veteran and shared their memories of him from the Farzi set.

The Farzi web series creators, whose work debuted on Prime Video in February, paid tribute to Sameer on Twitter. “Khopdi from Nukkad had such an impact on us as kids,” they wrote. He was unique and eccentric. Even when he was drunk, he spoke the truth. Then, decades later, we read his interview, in which he expressed his desire to once again be in front of the camera.

In the drama series, the seasoned actor starred opposite Shahid Kapoor. Farzi centers on an artist named Sunny (Shahid), who turns to money fraud to keep his grandfather’s printing press operating. Both a powerful mobster named Mansoor (Kay Kay Menon), who wants Sunny to forge currency for him, and a determined police officer named Michael (Vijay Sethupathi), who wants to stop him, take notice of his acts.

Parineeti Chopra, an actor, also recalled Sameer. She, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Sameer may be seen in a behind-the-scenes video shooting for the movie Meri Pyari Bindu. She penned, “My favorite co-star and an incredible legend. My most treasured flicks are Hasee Toh Phasee and Meri Pyaari Bindu thanks to your love, wisdom, and humor. Shahid, a dancer in Subhash Ghai’s Taal, made his Bollywood debut. He is the son of actors Pankaj Kapur and Neliima Azeem (1999). He made his acting debut four years later in the main role of Ishq Vishk (2003), for which he was nominated for a Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. Since then, Shahid has been in a number of movies, including Vivah, Jab We Met, Kaminey, Padmaavat, and Kabir Singh. He spoke about being seen as ‘cute’ as he reflected on his acting career in a new interview.

Instead of only focusing on the exterior world, I wanted others to peek into my soul, comprehend my feelings, and experience my intellect. Something matters and is significant.”

In Farzi, Shahid plays Sunny, an artist who uses fake money to keep his grandfather’s printing press from being destroyed. Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, Regina Cassandra, and Bhuvan Arora are also featured in the series.

Shahid previously stated that movies like Jab We Met (2007) can only be made once every twenty years in another interview. Sanah Kapur and Supriya Pathak are currently on holiday in the highlands. Tuesday, Sanah posted a collage of photos of her and her mother both standing in the same costume and setting on Instagram. They may both be seen posing in a pink and white outfit beside the pool while holding hands around their waists.

Sharing a collage of their pictures, Sanah wrote on Instagram, “Control C – Control V (wink emoji and hearts emoji)…”

Sanah Kapur shared a collage also featuring her mom Supriya Pathak.

 

The post was covered in heart-emoticons and the actor Seema Pahwa comment “Wah wonderful,” the mother-in-law of Sanah. One supporter said, “Ayee I adore this!! What a caption and what a picture! Like mother, like daughter, according to another. I adore you both. Another remarked, “Prettiest females.” In the comments, many people also referred to them as “cuties.”

With Saroj Ka Rishta last year, Sanah Kapur returned to acting. She portrayed a plus-sized woman who is desperately attempting to lose weight in order to seduce a man while her trainer accepts her just the way she is. In the movie, Supriya portrayed her mother. In the 2015 movie Shaandaar, Sanah made her acting debut opposite Shahid Kapoor, her half-brother. Her father Pankaj Kapur, an actor and filmmaker, was the director.

Supriya Pathak appeared in the web series Home Shanti last year. She was paired with Manoj Pahwa, who is now Sanah’s real-life father-in-law. Last year, Sanah wed Mayank Pahwa, the son of Manoj and a friend from her early years.

Sanah was questioned by the Hindustan Times about her experience co-working with both of her parents. Because she is so laid-back and is my best friend, she added, “It is much simpler to work with mom than dad. Working with her was fantastic; if she was present, the entire set would come to life. Last week in Jaisalmer, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra got married. Eminent Bollywood stars including Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Juhi Chawla, and others were on Kiara and Sidharth’s guest list. Isha Ambani, a childhood friend of Kiara’s and the daughter of businessman Mukesh Ambani, was also sighted at a pre-wedding event. Anand Piramal, her husband, joined her.

According to the actor during her appearance on Koffee With Karan season 7, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra first connected in 2018 and have since been “more than close friends.” They allegedly fell in love while filming Shershaah (2021). The pair shared romantic images from their pre-wedding celebrations in honor of Valentine’s Day 2023. The duo is visible matching their yellow clothing. It’s the color of love, Kiara captioned their images on Instagram with, “Pyaar ka ring chada hain.” In each image, the couple can be seen grinning.

Kareena Kapoor selected a clever line from her 2007 flick Jab We Met as her Valentine’s Day quote. The actor shared her character Geet’s favourite remark, “Main apni favourite hoon (I am my favourite),” while posing in a pink Manish Malhotra saree. As people remarked on her iconic outfit at the Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani wedding reception on Sunday, friends like Manish and Amrita Arora concurred with her.

Kareena posted a couple pictures of herself on Instagram wearing the pink sequined sari along with a ring, a set of long diamond earrings, and other jewellery. She penned, “Favorite thing about myself is… Greetings on Valentine’s Day.” The actor portrayed the vivacious Geet in the Imtiaz Ali movie, whose view on life transforms Aditya (Shahid Kapoor), and the two fall in love after they coincidentally cross paths on a train.

Designer Manish Malhotra responded, “Aur hum Sab ki bhi (And ours also),” while sprinkling multiple red heart emojis. “Aap sab ki favourite hai ma’am,” his nephew, the director Punit Malhotra, adding, “You are everyone’s favourite ma’am.” Amrita Arora, a friend of Kareena, posted several fire emojis along with the phrase “Hahahhahaha.” Actor Neha Dhupia replied with the emoji for raising the hands and the phrase “Caption boss.”

Her fans also sent her Valentine’s Day greetings. “My favourite phrase from my favourite movie…I love you Geet…for teaching that love yourself first (red heart emoji) in all young girls,” one admirer wrote in the comments section.

Kareena was present at the St. Regis Hotel’s Mumbai wedding reception for actors Sidharth and Kiara Advani on Sunday. Filmmaker Karan Johar, who had posed for pictures with her on the red carpet, was with her. The pair wed on February 7 in Jaisalmer without the actor present. In the 2019 film Good Newz, starring Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh, she and Kiara collaborated.

For Valentine’s Day, Jab We Met is returning in theatres for a short period. The Hindi movie, which was written and directed by Imtiaz, debuted in theatres on October 26, 2007. The film also featured Tarun Arora, Saumya Tandon, Dara Singh, and Pavan Malhotra in addition to Shahid. For her depiction of the young, vivacious Geet, who continues to be a fan favourite character today, Kareena was honoured with the Filmfare Award for Best Actress.
