Saleem Mairaj humorously recalls when he was mistaken for Nawazuddin Siddiqui

In the world of entertainment, encountering a doppelganger is a common experience for many actors. For instance, Hollywood stars Isla Fisher and Amy Adams are often humorously dubbed twins. Similarly, Pakistani actor Saleem Mairaj, known for his role in Josh: Independence Through Unity, has discovered that he shares a striking resemblance with Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

During a recent appearance on Gup Shab, Mairaj addressed the frequent comparisons between himself and Siddiqui after a viewer inquired, “Do you find it a compliment or an unnecessary comparison?” Mairaj responded with a hint of exasperation, saying, “I think I have been asked this more than 200 times… I just don’t get it. I don’t see the resemblance, and I don’t understand the comparison.”

He also shared a humorous anecdote about being mistaken for Siddiqui. “There I was at the passport office… One of them looks at me and says to the other, ‘Look! There’s that man from the film we saw last night!'” he recalled, adding, “They did not recognize Saleem Mairaj standing right in front of them, but they definitely thought they saw Nawazuddin Siddiqui!”

Despite Mairaj’s skepticism, there are mild physical similarities between the two talented actor. Siddiqui has gained acclaim in Indian cinema, notably for his role in Gangs of Wasseypur, while Mairaj has transitioned from theater to television, making his film debut in 2007 with Zibahkhana.

It’s a well-known fact that Saud Qasmi, a renowned Pakistani film and television actor, has been an integral part of the local entertainment industry for many years.

He recently featured in the much-loved series “Baby Baji,” co-starring alongside his wife, Javeria Saud. In a recent podcast interview with host Nadir Ali, Saud delved into the incredible success of this hit series, along with his familial connections to Indian star Nawazuddin Siddiqui and cricketer Usman Tariq.

During the conversation, the “Yeh Zindagi Hai” actor discussed the factors contributing to the undeniable success of his latest TV serial. The family drama boasts a talented ensemble cast, including celebrated figures like Samina Ahmad, Munawar Saeed, Junaid Jamahed Niazi, Sunita Marshall, Hassan Ahmed, Fazal Hussain, Syeda Tuba Anwar, and Aina Asif.

When questioned about the key to the show’s success, Saud emphasized the importance of having the right intentions (“niyatein”) behind the production, coupled with a generous dose of blessings. He remarked, “Many people are involved in this work, and success is ultimately determined by God’s will.”

Saud Qasmi also acknowledged the contribution of the writer, Mansoor Ahmed Khan, and recognized that airing the series on major channels with their established audience played a significant role. However, the most eagerly anticipated revelation came when he hinted at the potential for a second season. Referring to the final episode, he mentioned, “There were loose ends in the conclusion; perhaps we might explore them in a second season.”

In addition to discussing the success of his hit series, Saud Qasmi shared an unexpected familial connection with Indian actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Usman Khwaja. It turns out that the Indian actor is related to Saud through his aunt’s side. Saud revealed, “My brother from my aunt’s side, Mansoor – who is from India – is married to his [Nawazuddin’s] sister.”

Saud also mentioned that he had known the Australian cricketer Usman Tariq since Usman was a child. Recollecting their days in Islamabad, Qasmi reminisced, “He used to play tennis with us – he is the child of my sister-in-law’s sister.”

Aaliya Siddiqui, the estranged wife of renowned actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, recently took to Instagram to share a heartwarming video capturing a beautiful moment of Nawazuddin spending quality time with their children. This comes after earlier accusations of extortion and disputes surrounding their children.

In the video, Nawazuddin is seen affectionately interacting with their kids, kissing his daughter Shora and hugging his son Yaani. Aaliya can also be glimpsed sitting with her son in the background. In her Instagram caption, the former Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant expressed her immense gratitude to the universe for Nawazuddin spending two full months with their children, making them feel loved and complete.

The video garnered a lot of love from netizens, with many expressing support and sending positive messages to Aaliya. Despite going through a difficult time in the past, she seemed to have found new happiness as she revealed being in a new relationship during an interview with ETimes. Aaliya stated that the new relationship is more than just friendship and involves commitment.

Adnan Siddiqui Talks About Unfair Ban On Pakistani Artists In India

During an interview with an Indian publication, Famous Pakistani actor, Adnan Siddiqui talked about the unfair nature of the ban on Pakistani artists in India. Siddiqui revealed that he was hoping to make a career in India. ‘I was thinking to have my career over there, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s manager was in touch with me, he was offering me some work over there and I was looking at those also, but then it didn’t happen. No regrets, really,’ said the actor.

Asked about the ‘hypocrisy’ of remixing Pakistani songs but now allowing Pakistani talent to perform in India, Siddiqui remarked, ‘That is because of some people. A majority of people still love us, we love them. But then there is also a political issue there. When it comes to that point, I want to be quiet and not want to say anything. But I keep seeing Indian series, which have done remarkably well in Pakistan as well.’

Finally, when asked about the depiction of Pakistani in Indian media, Siddiqui replied, ‘Just to be more friendly, that’s about it. About acceptance… But then again, I am sure what is being made there, people are enjoying that. After all, in the end, it is a business. So, if it is working for those production houses, then why not, I don’t blame them. It is up to the audience, what they accept or don’t.’

Previously, Adnan Siddiqui worked in the Indian movie ‘Mom’ alongside veteran actress late Sri Devi and Pakistani actress Sajal Aly. He has also worked on a Hollywood project ‘A Mighty Heart’ alongside Indian actor late Irfan Khan.

Many people find encouragement in his tale of rising from poverty to riches and how he never gave up on his goal of achievement. He has been in movies such as Kahani, Raees, Kick and Raat Akeli Hai, and Gangs of Wasseypur.

He also starred in the television series Sacred Games, which will be remembered for both the show and the memes that came from it. The actor has been in difficulty for a while since his wife Alia Siddiqui has been accusing him of domestic violence.

She even accused Nawaz of trying to kidnap their kids from her and filed a rape lawsuit against him. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has now spoken out about the charges, revealing that he has divorced his wife and continues to support her in addition to providing for the children. Aaliya Siddiqui sobs on camera and claims the actor tried to kidnap her children

Aaliya Siddiqui, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife, claimed in a video posted on Instagram on Friday that the actor had filed a custody dispute against her in an effort to “take” their children from her. She added that she had reported the actor for rape with “evidence.” In the video, Aaliya sobbed while talking about her kids and accusing Nawazuddin of “misusing his influence” to “take” them. She claimed that because the actor was never involved in their upbringing, they didn’t even understand what a father was.

Aaliya refrained from crying as she accused Nawazuddin of attempting to kidnap her kids, saying, “Mujhse bache cheen ke kahan rakhega unhe? Tum apne paise se kitne logo ko khareed lo, mere bache nahi cheen sakte tum mujhse? How are you today, my reader? You can buy people with your money, but you cannot steal my children, says the proverbial “mere bacho ko toh pata bhi nahi baap kya hota hai.” How will you store them? Will they stay by your side? They have no idea what a father is, anyway.”

In Hindi, she said in her description regarding Nawazuddin and his family “a talented actor who frequently aspires to being a kind person! This man remains silent as a callous mother refers to my defenseless child as being not legally mine. Yesterday, a rape report (with by documentation) was made at the Versova police station. I will not, under any circumstances, allow my helpless kids to fall into their callous hands.”

Nawazuddin and his family “ensured no food or restroom is given to his client,” according to Aaliya’s attorney, who made the claim last month. However, the attorney for Nawazuddin also asserted that Aaliya was still wed to her first spouse, Vinay Bhargav.

To make her argument, she posted a collage of her own photos and Madhubala’s. She also gushed over images of herself from when she was first entering Bollywood in her younger years.
“As people want me to play film goddess Madhubala on screen, when I started out I was replica of Madhubala’s younger days, not sure about it anymore,” Kangana wrote on her Instagram Stories on Thursday while posting a collage of Madhubala and her own photos.

One of the biggest stars in the 1940s, 1950s, and early 1960s cinema industry was Madhubala. One of the most well-known films produced in India stars her in the 1960 blockbuster Mughal-e-Azam with Dilip Kumar. Neel Kamal (1947), Amar (1954), Mahal (1949), Badal (1951), Tarana (1951), Mr. & Mrs. ’55 (1955), Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi (1958), Half Ticket (1962), Howrah Bridge and Kala Pani (both 1958), and Barsaat Ki Raat are a few of her other highly notable movies (1960).

In 2006, Kangana made her acting debut in Gangster. Her most recent appearance was in the action film Dhaakad, which was a box office failure. She is now studying classical dance in preparation for the Tamil movie Chandramukhi 2.

Kangana Ranaut recently finished filming Emergency, her debut feature as a filmmaker (after Manikarnika which she co-directed with Krish Jagarlamudi). She also produces the movie in which she portrays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Other actors who appear in it include Satish Kaushik as Jagjivan Ram, Milind Soman as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Anupam Kher as Jayaprakash Narayan, and Shreyas Talpade as Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Also, she has Tejas under development, in which she plays an Air Force pilot. The release of her film Tiku Weds Sheru, which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is also scheduled for this year.

Nawazuddin spoke with Aaliya while standing outside the bungalow’s gate in the video that she posted on her Instagram page. The actor is currently a hotel guest. Aaliyah reportedly began having issues with Nawazuddin after she brought her kids back to Mumbai from Dubai.

According to the police, Aaliyah and Mehrunisa Siddiqui, Nawazuddin’s mother, got into a fight. Aaliya later claimed that she was being harassed at home and was being denied access to food and the bathroom, prompting Mehrunisa to file a FIR against her.

Anurag claims that Abhishek was really brash at the beginning

In a recent interview, Anurag Kashyap discussed his experiences working with actor Abhishek Bachchan. The director claimed that Abhishek “was really brattish” in his early days in the film business. He also recalls telling Amitabh Bachchan to tone down his acting while they were filming for the television program Yudh. Amitabh, according to Anurag, “takes criticism well.”.

“Anurag and I (Abhishek) collaborated on Yuva. The dialogue for that movie is my own. My brother worked as an AD on it as well, and we collaborated closely with Abhishek on the dubbing of the movie. Anurag Kashyap on the cancellation of Sacred Games 3

Anurag Kashyap has reiterated that the third season of his popular web show Sacred Games has been shelved.
He also added that he is not working for digital platforms right now.
All scared since the controversies around Ali Abbas Zafar’s 2021 web show Tandav.

The third season of Anurag Kashyap’s well-known web series Sacred Games has once again been postponed. Additionally, he said that he is not currently working for any digital platforms since they are all afraid following the scandal surrounding Ali Abbas Zafar’s web series Tandav from 2021.

Sacred Games was directed by Anurag and Vikramaditya Motwane. Along with many other actors, the show featured Saif Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Anurag remarked to Mashabale India, “When the interviewer applauded Sacred Games and said he expected the director to produce more explosive stuff on OTT, “I actually worked on it because I wanted to do so much. But OTT’s aaj ke date was unsuccessful. Today, OTT lacks the bravery (Tandav ke baad sab dar gaye hain). Since Tandav, everyone has been afraid.”

Anurag stated that he likes to work on projects that he finds enjoyable rather than performing the “hygienic stuff” for OTT merely because it is what everyone else is doing.

He also spoke about joining the team for Sacred Games throughout the interview. He claimed that the producers first turned him down because someone had informed them that “Anurag Kashyap does not draw female audience.” Vikramaditya later extended an invitation for him to participate, and he accepted. The show’s third season was canceled, and according to the creator, only Netflix knows why.

Several FIRs were made in six states before to the release of Tandav, alleging that the film’s content offended religious emotions. The show finally needed to have several scenes altered.
