As the anticipation reaches its peak, Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, is all set to grace theaters this week. Building upon the success of its predecessor from 2019, the film also introduces Ananya Panday as Ayushmann’s love interest. The dynamic duo has been backed by the production prowess of Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, the driving forces behind Balaji Motion Pictures.

With a crescendo of excitement fueled by its enticing trailer and catchy songs, the movie’s marketing team has orchestrated an innovative promotional strategy. The strategy is centered around Ayushmann’s character, Pooja, engaging in comical interactions with iconic figures such as Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Ranveer Singh’s Rocky. The recent addition of a playful conversation between veteran actor Jeetendra, Ekta Kapoor’s father, and Pooja in a video has left audiences in fits of laughter.

In the delightful video shared by the film’s team, the audience witnesses Jeetendra engaging in lighthearted banter with Ayushmann’s Pooja. The clip kicks off with Jeetendra dialing Pooja’s number in a covert manner. As she picks up the call, she exclaims, “Oh my god, paye lagu uncle,” to which he promptly responds, “Not ‘uncle’! Call me Jeetu, you can even call me Jeets.” Pooja playfully retorts, “I’m afraid to take your name,” prompting the veteran actor to cleverly quip, “Beyond fear lies victory, and beyond victory lies Jeetendra.” Curious about her whereabouts, Jeetendra inquires, and Pooja mischievously replies, “You’re concerned about my location at your home, ask me when I’m outside.” He counters, “There’s no ‘Ekta’ at home, I mean she’s gone out, and in any case, your ‘Shobha’ won’t allow me to ask anyone else, so why not you?”

Ekta Kapoor shared the engaging video on her Instagram, revealing that advance bookings for the film have already commenced. In her caption, she humorously writes, “The auspicious time for Pooja’s ceremony is on the 25th, but can’t bookings still happen now?” Ayushmann Khurrana chimes in, saying, “Tathaiyya tathaiyya ho… Book your seats for #DreamGirl2!”

‘Nobody could flirt with Jeetendra because his girlfriend Shobha was too protective,’ says Mumtaz

Mumtaz was often linked to her co-stars.
But her relationship with Jeetendra was difficult due to Shobha Kapoor’s possessiveness.
Shobha was very possessive about him. She was determined to marry him.

Mumtaz was frequently associated with a number of her co-stars during her active career in the 1960s and 1970s. Shammi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, and others were among them. Due to his then-girlfriend and current wife Shobha Kapoor, connecting with Jeetendra was incredibly difficult.

A recent episode of Indian Idol included Mumtaz. She performed for the contestants during her appearance on the show as a guest with Dharmendra. In 1974, she wed Mayur Madhvani and gave acting a rest.

Ekta and Tusshar Kapoor are Jeetendra and Shobha’s two children. Lakshya and Ravie have them as grandparents. With Ekta, Shobhaa is renowned for creating some of the most watched daily soap operas on television. On February 10, it was revealed that she and Ekta will be leaving their positions as the leaders of Alt Balaji.

She treated her fans to an old video featuring producer-mother Shobha Kapoor and actor-father Jeetendra.

Shobha Kapoor, Ekta’s mother, and legendary actor Jeetendra also made an appearance at the themed celebration. When Ekta refused to take a picture with her mother Shobha, she made a lovely face. In the clip, little Ekta wore a green shimmery dress. Her hair was braided. Her brother Tusshar opted for Superman look. Jeetendra was dressed in a white kurta pyjama, while Shobha was dressed in a red ethnic suit. In order to celebrate Tusshar’s birthday, all the kids gathered close. In the company of Shobha, Ekta, Jeetendra, and his pals, Tusshar cut his cake. “Happy birthday, Tusshar,” were the children’s happy birthday songs.

Sharing the video on Instagram, Ekta wrote, “I want this attitude back (laughing, fire, punch and evil eye emojis).” She used ‘posing with punch’ as the hashtag on the post. Actors Pooja Banerji wrote, “Awyeee so cute”, Paridhi Sharma commented, “Awww, super cute” and Parth Samthaan dropped laughing emoji. Filmmaker Tahira Kashyap commented, “(Red heart emoji) Precious!

Actors Siddhant Kapoor wrote, “Omg so adorable. These parties were the best. Cassette music. Dance competitions, Candies food” and Ridhima Pandit commented, “Oh my god this is so cuteee hehehe.” Writer Harneet Singh wrote, “Mom be like, “You don’t have to pose Ekta.”

Reacting to the birthday post, one of Ekta’s fans wrote, “So cute, Tusshar bhaiya looked so innocent.” Another fan commented, “How cute, so many memories.” Other fan wrote, “Wow…so sweet moment.”

Ekta is the daughter of Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor. She has tasted success in Bollywood, with her productions such as The Dirty Picture, Ragini MMS, Veere Di Wedding and Dream Girl.
