In the delightful video shared by the film’s team, the audience witnesses Jeetendra engaging in lighthearted banter with Ayushmann’s Pooja. The clip kicks off with Jeetendra dialing Pooja’s number in a covert manner. As she picks up the call, she exclaims, “Oh my god, paye lagu uncle,” to which he promptly responds, “Not ‘uncle’! Call me Jeetu, you can even call me Jeets.” Pooja playfully retorts, “I’m afraid to take your name,” prompting the veteran actor to cleverly quip, “Beyond fear lies victory, and beyond victory lies Jeetendra.” Curious about her whereabouts, Jeetendra inquires, and Pooja mischievously replies, “You’re concerned about my location at your home, ask me when I’m outside.” He counters, “There’s no ‘Ekta’ at home, I mean she’s gone out, and in any case, your ‘Shobha’ won’t allow me to ask anyone else, so why not you?”

Ekta Kapoor shared the engaging video on her Instagram, revealing that advance bookings for the film have already commenced. Twitter users have come upon an old video of Kareena Kapoor responding to a query regarding whether she considers herself a feminist while promoting Veere Di Wedding. Some others criticised Kareena’s response to the question, which was also acknowledged by her co-star Sonam Kapoor at the event, for sounding ’embarrassing’ and ‘stupid.
Kareena was questioned in the video, which a user of the microblogging site shared, about her opinions on feminism and whether she sees herself as a feminist. She was spotted at a 2018 film premiere for Veere Di Wedding, which she starred in. On stage with her were producers Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, actors Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania, and Ekta Kapoor.

When a journalist enquired, “I was curious about Kareena’s definition of feminism. What are your thoughts on the idea, and are you a feminist?” The actor stopped for a second before responding as she turned to face her co-stars Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhasker, who were seated to her left. Kareena remarked, “Yes, I support equality. I would describe myself as a woman rather than a feminist. I am also and foremost a human being.” Even Sonam, who was sat right next to her, applauded her when she gave the correct response and said, “Woohoo!”

On Twitter, many fans criticized Kareena for her remark in response to the old clip, which received a lot of comments. “The actresses of the 2000s are some of the most dumb, ignorant, and psychotic people ever,” someone once said. The words of another were, “Dumb person is being asked and dumber person is hyping at the back.” One commenter stated, “But I want to know why do we even ask these questions from these entertainers? Because we are all aware of how stupid they are and how their privileges speak for them, why do we continue to torture our brain cells by asking them such questions?” Another commenter added, “Only when you’re born with a silver spoon in your mouth and don’t have to battle to succeed in business can you say that. Rhea Kapoor supports the movie, which also stars Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Hansal Mehta’s forthcoming film is one of Kareena’s upcoming ventures. Sujoy Ghosh’s Devotion of Suspect X, starring Kareena and making her OTT debut, is also anticipated to release this year. Ekta Kapoor, a television producer, film producer, and filmmaker best known for her work in Hindi soap operas, seems to be in the midst of a never-ending string of problems. She is credited with launching a number of well-known television programmes, including Kasamh Se, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, Kohi Apna Sa, Kaahin Kissii Roz, Kalash, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She is the co-managing director and creative director of Balaji Telefilms Limited, for the uninitiated.

According to news source Press Trust of India, the top court in India criticised producer Ekta Kapoor on Friday for the “objectionable content” in her online series XXX, claiming “she was contaminating the minds of the young population of this country.”

The Supreme Court informs Ekta Kapoor’s attorney that you are tainting the minds of the next generation.
According to PTI, Kapoor’s appeal against the arrest warrants issued against her for allegedly disrespecting soldiers and hurting their families in the web series that was broadcast on her OTT platform ALTBalaji was being heard by the Supreme Court of India.

“There is a need to act. You are contaminating the minds of this nation’s future leaders. Everybody may access it. All people can access OTT (Over The Top) content. What sort of options are you giving the populace? Instead, you are contaminating children’s minds “According to news agency PTI, the statement was made by a bench of Justices Ajay Rastogi and C T Ravikumar.

Mukul Rohatgi, a seasoned attorney, represented Kapoor in court. Prior to the court’s observation, Rohatgi stated, according to the news agency, “a plea has been filed before the Patna high court, but there is no prospect the matter would be assigned for hearing soon.”

PTI reported, that Rohatgi, in the Court said, “The content is subscription-based and that there is freedom of choice in this country.”

Wondering what kind of choice is being given to people, the Bench observed, “Every time you travel to this court….we don’t appreciate this. We will put a cost on you for filing such a petition. Mr Rohatgi, please convey this to your client. Just because you can afford and hire the services of good lawyers….this court is not for those who have voices.”

“This court works for those who don’t have voices…if these people who have all kinds of facilities if they cannot get justice then think of the situation of this common man. We have seen the order and we have our reservations,” the bench observed.

As of now, the Supreme Court has kept the matter pending and the next date of hearing will be known soon.

In relation to her Alt Balaji online series XXX, Ekta Kapoor had asked the Supreme Court for protection from arrest orders against her. She was advised by the court to discontinue submitting similar applications.

Ekta Kapoor’s attempt to enlist the aid of the legal system failed when the Supreme Court harshly criticised the director for “polluting” the minds of the younger generation. The highest court also issued a warning to the filmmaker not to file any additional pleas and mandated that if she does, a fee will be assessed.

The Supreme Court was considering Ekta’s appeal of the arrest warrants that had been issued against her for allegedly disrespecting soldiers and offending their families through the “objectionable content” of the online series XXX, which was broadcast on her OTT platform ALTBalaji. The warrant was issued by a trial court in Begusarai, Bihar, in response to a complaint made by an ex-serviceman named Shambhu Kumar who claimed that the second season of the show contained multiple unpleasant scenes involving a soldier’s wife.

According to PTI, senior attorney Mukul Rohatgi spoke on behalf of Ekta and requested that the court grant her protection, noting that they had previously done so in a case that was identical to this one. The lawyer maintained Ekta’s right to make her own decisions and made the case that the in question content is subscription-based. Ekta was criticized by a panel of Justices Ajay Rastogi and C T Ravikumar after the lawyer claimed that although a petition in the matter had been filed with the Patna High Court, there was little chance that it would be scheduled for hearing anytime soon.

The bench of the Supreme Court uttered, “Something has to be done. You are polluting the minds of the young generation of this country. It is available to all. OTT (Over The Top) content is available to all. What kind of choice are you providing to the people?….on the contrary you are polluting the minds of youngsters.”

The court did not impose fees but did issue a warning to Ekta “Every time you travel to this court….we don’t appreciate this. We will put a cost on you for filing such a petition. Mr Rohatgi please convey this to your client. Just because you can afford and hire the services of good lawyers….this court is not for those who have voices. The supreme court rejected the plea and advised assigning a local attorney to monitor the progress of the Patna high court case’s hearing.
