Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, was released in 2019. Vanga’s Telugu film Arjun Reddy, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey, was adapted for the film. Shahid Kapoor stated why he didn’t want to portray Kabir Singh in an exclusive interview. Mira Rajput, his wife, was the one who persuaded him to undertake the film!

Shahid Kapoor remembers first seeing Arjun Reddy with his wife Mira Rajput. “Because it (Kabir Singh) is a remake, I saw Arjun Reddy.” Someone had sent it to my place, and I recall sitting with Mira and watching the movie. I viewed the film and thought, ‘This is a helluva fantastic movie, guy!’ This film has done everything that a film is not intended to accomplish. And I’m still crazy for him. He’s doing everything a decent person shouldn’t do. ‘How does this person manage to be so cool?'”

Shahid went on to say that it was provided to him because someone wanted to develop a Hindi version of it. Remakes were not particularly popular at the time. Shahid recalls being hesitant to do it at first. “My first answer was ‘no way am I doing this movie.’ Because this guy is a newcomer and he has done such a good job.” “What happens is that when you see someone for the first time on camera, whatever whoever they are, their personality blends into the character they’re playing,” he stated. “Because you are unfamiliar with them. So your acceptance of them is absolute. Because it’s the first time you’ve seen them, you’ve fallen in love with them, and everything about them is perfect because they haven’t made any errors yet. But then you realize they’re not flawless; they create bad movies. Then they have to make a very terrific film so you can say, ‘now I know why I like this man.'”

“So I was like, this guy has done his first film,” Shahid continued. I’ve been in a lot of movies. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to personify this persona the way he does because people have previously seen me in a variety of roles. And I completed my gyaan (knowledge) by stating, “This is my reason, Mira.” Yer film nahi karni chahiye. (I shouldn’t make this movie)’.

Shahid then revealed Mira’s response and how she persuaded Shahid to perform Kabir Singh. “She just stared at me for 5 minutes and then said, ‘Just shut up and do it.'” It’s the ideal film for you’. ‘Really?’ I said, and she replied, ‘Yeah. People enjoy seeing you in love tales as well as as messed-up characters. This contains both! Simply do it!’ Her reasoning was so straightforward, and I had overcomplicated it for myself, which I guess was a good thing, Kabir Singh.”

Speaking to Mid Day, Shahid Kapoor expressed the profound effect the incident had on him. He said, “I was destroyed at that time. I was just a 24-year-old kid, and I felt my privacy had been invaded, with nothing I could do to safeguard it. It was a mess, and it affected me greatly.” He explained that such events can be particularly challenging at a young age when one is still navigating their own emotions and relationships.

When asked about the current social media and paparazzi culture, Shahid acknowledged the shift, saying, “Now, you are aware that it is 100% going to happen. At that time, we were caught off guard… So, it is like an informed devil as opposed to an uninformed devil scenario. You at least know this is going to happen.” Furthermore, he mentioned that now, as a married man and a parent, the public’s interest has shifted to younger celebrities, allowing him some respite from such invasive attention.

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor parted ways in 2007. Shahid is now happily married to Mira Rajput, and they recently celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary in Copenhagen. Meanwhile, Kareena is happily married to Saif Ali Khan, and the couple is currently enjoying a vacation with their two children, Taimur and Jeh, in Sardinia.

It’s too simple to make her appear nice, Shahid wrote in the comments section of his wife’s article. As soon as Mira’s most recent images were released by Shahid, admirers commented on the ‘beautiful couple’ and shared their reactions.

Shahid Kapoor’s black-and-white candid images of Mira during a photo shoot show her getting her hair repaired. She wrote in her Instagram description, “He takes beautiful shots, right? Actor Kartik Aaryan has reportedly been hunting for a home in Juhu. The actor has been looking for a sea-facing flat in the Juhu district of Mumbai, where he resides with his mother, father, and sister. Along with taking his mother to a few buildings in Juhu, Kartik also went to Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s former home to see the home’s view of the sea. According to recent Internet sources, Kartik Aaryan has now decided on Shahid Kapoor’s residence and has leased the apartment for three years.

Kartik Aaryan leases Shahid Kapoor’s Juhu apartment

Kartik Aaryan has reportedly leased Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s Juhu flat for three years, according to a Hindustan Times story. The stamp duty and registration for the 36-month leasing transaction were completed on January 12, 2023, according to papers retrieved through zapkey.com. On Juhu Tara Road, the flat is located in the Praneta Building. Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput signed the contract on his behalf, and Kartik Aaryan’s mother Mala Tiwari leased the residence.

The 3,681 square foot home has a basement and a sea view, and Kartik Aaryan will have access to two parking spaces in the neighbourhood. The documents state that Kartik reportedly paid a security deposit of Rs 45 lakhs, and the rent will rise by 7% annually. Kartik would pay a monthly rent of Rs 7.5 lakh for the first year, followed by Rs 8.02 lakh for the second year and Rs 8.58 lakh for the third.

When Kartik Aaryan bought a flat in Mumbai in 2019

Kartik Aaryan bought a residence in Mumbai’s Versove neighborhood’s Rajkiran Co-op Housing Society in 2019. Interestingly, it was the same apartment that he had rented out during his tough times in Mumbai after leaving Gwalior. The actor is said to have spent 1.60 crore rupees for the 459 square foot apartment, plus Rs. 9.60 lakh in stamp duty.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput shifted to Worli from Juhu

In the meantime, Pinkvilla announced in September 2022 that Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor had moved from Juhu to Worli. The couple took possession of the home in 2019 after making a 2018 reservation for a duplex unit in the Three Sixty West building. The couple moved into their Worli residence in 2022 after finishing the interior remodelling. Apparently, their brand-new apartment cost a staggering Rs 58 crore! The residence in Three Sixty West includes a huge 500 square foot balcony and has six parking spaces assigned to the actor.

A source told us in September that Shahid had purchased the Juhu apartment while he was single. The insider continued, “Shahid and Mira as parents, were particularly worried with the rising public on the beach of their old Juhu flat, which was easily visible from their deck area. This is why they moved to Worli. Shahid neglected the risk when he purchased the Praneta apartment in Juhu as a bachelor. Shahid, who was now a father of two children, took the situation very seriously and considered permanently relocating to Worli.

Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar are also featured in the movie. Kartik Aaryan has joined producers Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, and Aman Gill and will make his debut as a producer with the film Shehzada. On February 10, 2023, Valentine’s Day weekend, the movie will be released. He will also star in the love story Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani.

Alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Shahid Kapoor will shortly make his television debut in Raj and DK’s forthcoming action-thriller series Farzi. On February 10, it will make its Prime Video debut. In addition, he is working on the follow-up to the 2013 film Bloody Daddy, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

The pictures also gave a glimpse of massive glass doors leading to Shahid and Mira’s balcony.

Misha Kapoor, the daughter of Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, took a dance lesson at their opulent new residence in Mumbai. Neliima Azeem, Misha’s grandmother, served as her dance guru (teacher). Shahid’s mother Neliima is not only an accomplished Kathak dancer but also an accomplished performer. On Sunday, Mira posted pictures of some lovely interactions between Misha and Neliima as they worked on their dance moves. The pictures also showed Mira and Shahid’s enormous living room.

Neliima Azeem taught some Kathak moves to Misha in one of the pictures Mira posted on Instagram Stories. The photo did not show Misha’s face. Another image shows the two strikings a dance position while rehearsing in a sun-drenched chamber with a view of the brilliant Mumbai sky. It is time, Mira wrote with the picture she took of the touching guru-shishya (teacher-student) interaction. Massive glass doors leading to Shahid and Mira’s balcony could also be seen in the images. They also provided a glimpse of the couple’s lavish living area, which included furnishings and grey décor.

Kareena Kapoor and Mira Rajput both post pictures from same event

Actress Kareena Kapoor recently uploaded photos from a recent race competition with her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, and their older son Taimur Ali Khan. On Wednesday, Kareena shared pictures on Instagram Stories that appeared to be from a Taimur’s school Sports Day event.

In one of the pictures, Saif Ali Khan was standing in a line with a few other people in a field. He was looking straight ahead. Kareena wrote in the post’s caption, “Father’s race swag dekho (Look at father’s race swag) (red heart emoji).”

In the second picture, Taimur, Karan Johar’s son Yash, and a group of other kids stood on a field wearing blue T-shirts, navy blue pants, white socks, and black shoes. As they got ready for a race, they did different things.
