Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan attended the Next On Netflix event on Monday evening to unveil his son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The BA**DS of Bollywood.

During the event, Shah Rukh made a heartfelt request to his fans, asking them to extend their support to Aryan and his daughter, Suhana Khan.

“I request from my heart that my son, who is taking his first step into direction, and my daughter, who is becoming an actress, if they receive even 50 percent of the love the world has given me, it would be enough,” he said.

The actor also shared that he had passed on his sense of humor to Aryan. “I love funny things. People often take offence to my jokes, so I have stopped joking. I have passed this to my son Aryan and told him, ‘Go make your father proud,’” he added.

Shah Rukh attended the event with his wife, Gauri Khan, and their children, Aryan and Suhana.

Netflix and Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan have announced the debut web series of Aryan Khan, the actor’s son, as a director and creator. The yet-to-be-titled series, a collaboration with Shah Rukh’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment, is set to premiere on Netflix next year.

In a social media post on Tuesday, Netflix India introduced the series as a “one-of-a-kind” project centered on the glitzy world of Bollywood. The platform teased viewers to “witness Bollywood like never before.”

The show, produced by Gauri Khan, will explore the journey of an ambitious outsider navigating the glamorous yet complex film industry. The multi-genre series promises an “unabashed, entertaining ride.”

Shah Rukh Khan’s pal Viveck Vaswani recently spoke about the actor’s lack of reaction to Aryan Khan’s drug arrest. Son of Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Aryan was charged with narcotics possession. When Aryan Khan was arrested, which became one of the biggest controversies of the year, Shah Rukh’s friend applauded him for his poise.

In October 2021, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained Aryan Khan in connection with a purported drug raid on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. Until the Bombay High Court approved bail, he spent 25 days behind bars. Aryan was given a clean bill of health by the NCB in 2022 after he was on October 30, 2021.

Shah Rukh and his family remained silent throughout the media investigation. Viveck Vaswani, an actor and producer who is the Pathaan actor’s oldest friend in the business, discussed it with Connect FM Canada and said, “I believe he wanted to avoid escalating the situation, as evidenced by the fact that neither he nor Aryan, Gauri, or Suhana spoke; this is known as grace and dignity.

Aryan’s purported connection in a narcotics case had only been briefly mentioned by Shah Rukh. During a ‘Ask SRK’ session on Twitter, a fan asked him what pushes him to overcome the obstacles he has ‘experienced thus far’. Shah Rukh responded by saying, “One must have faith that good will always prevail over bad.

Shah Rukh adopted many strategies to evade the media and paparazzi whenever he was out and about after Aryan got released from prison. He chose to engage with fans on Twitter instead of using the media to promote Pathaan, even during its release. After Pathaan’s achievement, he later commented, “This is an experience that’s yet to sink in,” in a news conference. We might feel more thankful to God as a result. At times, we had to phone people to get them to easily release the movie, and they did so. I want my movies to have a loving release.

Aryan is getting ready to start acting in movies. He is now writing the script for his debut. When The Archies is released this year, his sister Suhana Khan will also be a part of the Bollywood industry.

On Sunday night, actor Bhumi Pednekar and her sister Samiksha Pednekar celebrated the latter’s birthday with a party in Mumbai attended by Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s daughter Nysa Devgan and Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan‘s son Aryan Khan. Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, was also seen at the party.

Bhumi and Samiksha, an entrepreneur, were beaming as they posed for photographers outside the party. While the actor wore an off-shoulder top with matching pants and a statement neckpiece, her sister wore a black crop top and a black lower. Bhumi and Samiksha were both wearing glamorous makeup and hairstyles. Nysa Devgan wore an orange crop top with blue jeans to the party, while Aryan was dressed all in black. Both Nysa and Aryan were photographed getting out of their cars and walking towards the party venue as paparazzi called their names and asked them to pose for photos. Aryan walked straight into the party, while Nysa smiled.

Earlier, Orhan revealed his work description in an interview with Cosmopolitan India. I’m either working or sleeping, he declared. I am really diligent. He replied, “No, I don’t have a 9 to 5 job. Speaking about his desire to work in Bollywood, he added, “I always receive proposals. However, my Hindi is not that good. We gathered at my friend’s house to watch Padmaavat because she likes Hindi films. She kept translating it for me, so it took me three days to see the movie. I simply had no idea what was happening. great movie adored it I’ve now seen it about 30 times. So I’m going to say no—not now, Bollywood.

While photographers shouted his name and begged him to pose for pictures outside the screening site, Aryan Khan was also seen and attracted attention for “ignorantly” walking past them. Aryan, the son of actor Shah Rukh Khan and interior designer Gauri Khan, was featured in a video from the screening of the movie Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat that was published on a paparazzo account.

Another person wrote about Aryan, saying, “He is only receiving that much recognition and respect because of King Khan (Shah Rukh).” Aryan‘s behavior did not impress someone, who remarked, “He has a ton of unneeded attitude, and the media… I don’t know why you always want to photograph him. Regardless of whether the person is a celebrity child, please disregard such unpleasant people.” Another person said, “When his movie is released, he will stop and pose for the cameras.”

Several more defended the Aryan race, with one saying, “Well, when he was framed, the same media tormented him and made snap judgments and reports (in a drugs-on-cruise case). He endured psychological abuse and torture until his innocence was established. Therefore, there is nothing wrong if he chooses to ignore the media, which is so rude and doesn’t respect people’s privacy.” The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained eight people, including Aryan Khan, in connection with an alleged narcotics seizure on a cruise liner off the coast of Mumbai on October 3, 2021. The NCB cleared him in the case in May 2022, stating that “no narcotics had been found on Aryan Khan.”

Aryan, who hopes to become a director, stated in December 2022 that he will be writing his first film for Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment.
