Truth Behind Prince Harry’s Reconciliation Gesture To Prince William

According to an insider, King Charles’ feuding sons, Prince Harry and Prince William, have not initiated any contact for peace talks. The source shared with OK! magazine, “William hasn’t reached out to Harry and vice versa. They haven’t been arguing, but there hasn’t been any contact made either.”

The insider further stated, “No telephone calls, no FaceTime, and no Zoom calls.”

The claims came before Prince William’s visit to the US in September.

Earlier, there were reports that the California-based prince reached out to William for reconciliation amid his concerns about money and their future in the United States, and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle was also aware of their secret contact.

According to Insources, the insider revealed, “Harry admitted he’d phoned William to call a truce and told his brother he and Meghan would be open to going back to London, where they would serve King Charles.”

The future king was reportedly stunned by Harry’s call, and the source added, “William didn’t quite know what to say.”

However, the insider said William told Harry “he would think about his offer.”

They have been on increasingly bad terms since Megxit, and revelations made by Harry in his memoir, “Spare,” divided them further.

Filmmaker Mohammed Ali Naqvi Appointed As PASC Chairperson

Filmmaker Mohammed Ali Naqvi, commonly known as Mo Naqvi, has been appointed as the new chairperson of the Pakistan Academy Selection Committee (PASC), succeeding director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

The PASC is responsible for choosing Pakistan’s official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Academy Awards each year.

Naqvi, renowned for his impactful storytelling, was inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2022, a testament to his influential body of work. His latest documentary, The Accused: Damned Or Devoted, has earned a Primetime Emmy nomination this year.

Expressing his honour and excitement, Mohammed Ali Naqvi stated, “I am deeply grateful for this opportunity, and I commit myself to continue elevating Pakistani cinema on the international stage.”

His immediate focus is on forming a dynamic selection committee, with several eminent professionals already confirming their participation. Naqvi believes their combined efforts will further enhance Pakistani cinema’s global presence.

His impressive portfolio includes producing the hit Netflix Original docuseries Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror, earning him membership in both the Motion Picture Academy and the Television Academy. His work has received accolades, including an Emmy Television Academy Honour for the Showtime Original documentary Shame and Emmy-nominated projects Among the Believers and The Accused: Damned Or Devoted?

Beyond his filmmaking pursuits, Naqvi is a board member of Mukhtaran Mai’s Women Welfare Group, demonstrating his commitment to social causes.

Shiraz Uppal Reveals His Father Referred His Passion As Derogatory

Singer Shiraz Uppal, renowned for his Coke Studio song “Tu Kuja Man Kuja,” recently disclosed that his father initially disapproved of his music career, allowing him to pursue it only after completing his MBA. With a successful music career since 1995, Uppal also discussed the rise of instant fame through social media.

During an appearance on the chat show Chocolate Times, Uppal revealed, “No, not at all. My father was an army officer, so it was even more difficult for me to explain my passion to him.”

He shared his father’s disapproval, saying, “He used to say things like, ‘tu eh banna hai? (you really wanna become this)’ as something he looks down upon but he had only one demand. He wanted me to complete my MBA and then I was allowed to do whatever I want.”

Regarding social media’s impact on fame, Uppal mentioned, “When I entered the industry back in 1995 when I was doing my MBA, there was little to no support. Maybe my music wasn’t good enough or maybe people couldn’t relate to it back then. But I persisted and got a great response on Tera Tay Mera – my second album.”

He humorously observed the evolving term “artist,” including TikTok stars being called artists now, and speculated about the future of fame, saying, “Time is evolving though, and who knows what the limit of fame will be in the future. Maybe people only listen for a few seconds or a minute.”

Looking ahead, Uppal excitedly shared his plans for his music career, stating, “It’s been a decade that I have been singing only film songs and OSTs, so I have been neglecting my pop music. I will make a comeback now.”
