One migrant was killed and at least six others, including a teenage girl, were injured in a shootout between migrant groups in Serbia near the Hungarian border on Saturday, according to state-run RTS television.

According to RTS, the 16-year-old girl suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident, which occurred in a forest on the outskirts of Subotica, about 160 kilometers (100 miles) north of Belgrade, where the injured were hospitalized.

Police, who made no immediate comment, blocked access to the forest where the incident took place, only around a kilometre from the Hungarian border.

Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin rushed to the scene.

ISLAMABAD: “Imran Khan did not just assemble all Pakistan’s opponents but also exposed them,” Babar Awan, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Leader, and Imran Khan’s legal advisor, said during the Parade Ground rally against the ‘Imported Government’ on Saturday.

Addressing the rally against the Shehbaz Sharif government and the unprecedented hike in inflation, he maintained that the conspiracy against Imran Khan had been exposed.

The PTI leader claimed during his speech that the first conspiracy against the patron of their party was the foreign intervention that ousted Imran Khan from power. He asked the public, “Was there any load shedding in the country till Imran Khan left? The nation should tell if they have seen such inflation in the recent years?”

According to the details, Imran Khan with other prominent leaders is on his way towards the Parade Ground from Bani Gala on his container. The PTI workers are in huge numbers accompanying Imran Khan.

An Italian businessman and owner of a well-known hotel in southern Mexico was shot and killed in the town of Palenque where he lived, according to local authorities.

Raphael Alessandro Tunesi was shot midday Friday as he prepared to pick up his daughters from school, according to the Chiapas prosecutor’s office.

“Police officers who arrived found him inside a vehicle… with several bullet wounds,” the office said.

Tunesi had been living in Chiapas for several years and was considered an expert on Mayan culture.

Together with his Mexican wife, he owned the Quinta Chanabnal, a luxury hotel inspired by nearby Mayan ruins, and which has been the scene of film shoots.

A family friend who asked not to be named for security reasons told AFP that Tunesi was highly respected in the Palenque community.

The friend said organized crime groups had been demanding extortion payments from merchants and businesses in the area, an important center of Mayan culture and whose archeological riches draw tourists from Mexico and abroad.

A series of powerful earthquakes shook southern Iran on Saturday, killing at least five people, injuring over 80 others, and levelling dozens of buildings.

The quakes, two of which were magnitude 6.0, struck west of the major port city of Bandar Abbas in Hormozgan province, according to the US Geological Survey.

The first rattled an area north of the town of Dezhgan shortly after 2:00 am (2130 GMT), before a 5.7 tremor hit two hours later followed quickly by the second 6.0 magnitude quake, said the USGS.

Hormozgan governor Mehdi Dousti said five people were killed, as cited by the official news agency IRNA.

Dousti told state television that the village of Sayeh Khosh, close to the epicentre, had been completely destroyed.

“84 people were injured out of whom only 15 are still in hospital for treatment,” national emergency services spokesman Mojtaba Khaledi told state television

The state broadcaster showed video footage of residential buildings reduced to rubble in Sayeh Khosh, which was plunged into darkness in a power outage.
