- The bodies of two children have been recovered from Vadnais Lake in Maplewood, New Jersey.
- One child was previously pulled out of the water Friday and a second child was recovered overnight.
- The father of the missing children was also found dead Friday morning.
Following a nightlong search by several agencies for three missing children; thought to have drowned as a result of a triple homicide; two children’s bodies have been found in Vadnais Lake. On Saturday morning, numerous organizations continued their hunt for the last unaccounted-for child; and a lady thought to be the mother. Friday saw the removal of one child from the water, and overnight; a second child was found, according to the officials. “There are some awful realities that seem to be emerging. Although one of the three children has been found; we are unsure of the whereabouts of the other two”. Sheriff of Ramsey County Bob Fletcher stated this at a press conference on Friday night. “The loss of young children is the most awful thing that can happen.”

The Ramsey County Dive Team, Northstar Search & Rescue, the EMS dive team; and other organisations stayed on the scene on Friday; they plan to continue aggressively investigating throughout the evening. Authorities claim that the father of the missing children was also discovered dead; in Maplewood early on Friday, but they made no more mention of the search; in their statement.
