Hania Aamir Claps Back At Trollers Who Mocked Her For Using Beauty Filters

Hania Aamir

Hania Aamir has given a befitting reply to all the trollers who criticized her for using beauty filters while sharing her views about color shaming and the hyped beauty standards.

Hania Aamir beauty standards

She uploaded videos on her Instagram story and highlighted the unrealistic beauty standards. “When will we stop being insecure about the way we look?,” asked Hania.

After Hania’s video went viral, the Ishqiya actress was brutally criticized for wearing makeup and using beauty filters.

Hania, who is currently in the United States of America, found out that people are bashing her instead of understanding the point she was trying to raise in the video.

She uploaded series of videos on her Instagram story and said,

“I used the beauty filters not because I was pressurized by the beauty standards, if I had used it because of that, then I am wrong”.

Hania asked when will people understand that skin-color shaming is taking over the world gradually, and women are getting really affected by it.

The actress in the video said,

“I have come bare face several times, flaunted my pimples,  my skin, and my flaws to the world. I am not ashamed of it. This is who I am”.

“Accept the way you are and be what you are,” said Hania.

The actress concluded by saying,

“You do you! You put on makeup if you want to, you can go bare face if you want to. You put on a beauty filter if you want to. You can go on a diet if you want to. You eat healthy if you want to, or put on weight if you want to. You do anything because you want to do it!”

Earlier, actress Sanam Saeed had reacted to the ongoing debate on beauty standards which indirectly pointed finger on Aamir.

Saeed took to her Instagram story and seems like she is simply trolling Hania Aamir for her surgeries.

Did Sanam Saeed Just Mock Hania Aamir For Her Surgeries?

Sanam Saeed Hania Aamir trolling

Popular actress Hania Aamir, a few days back, expressed her views about colour shaming and following the hyped beauty standards.

Hania Aamir gets real about skin-colour shaming and unrealistic beauty standards. “When will we stop being insecure about the way we look?,” questioned the actress via her Instagram stories.

However, she landed into hot waters after her major blunder as she debated over colorism using the Instagram filter and social media users were quick to point this out.

The filter apparently added rosy shade to her cheeks and also showed false lashes which ultimately resulted in a defeat of the purpose she actually made the video on.

The netizens termed the entire incident a clear ‘hypocrisy’ and called her out on the double standard,  asked her to first implement what she tried to preach others.

One user wrote, “Your activism feels disingenuous when your actions are not reflective of your words.”

The other jumped in and said, “Teach what you preach”.

“So ironic, says a girl who just had lip surgery and currently using filters to post about accepting yourself,” criticized the other.

The station mentioned in a statement, “It is the character of this show and also of the presenter to express his opinion clearly, openly and unvarnished.”

It added that he “overshot the mark in his choice of words” and he did not intend to hurt the feelings of the BTS fans.

Matuschik said, “I have thought a lot in the past few hours and I understand and accept that I could have racially insulted many of you, especially the Asian community, with my words.

How Much Pakistan Suffers From PSL 6 Postponement?

PSL Postponed

After the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) postponed on Thursday, a heated argument took place between the PSL franchise owners and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) during a virtual meeting.

PSL 6 has been postponed for an indefinite time period after 6 players tested positive for coronavirus.

The PSL franchise owners asked PCB how the novel coronavirus entered the bio-secure bubble?

According to sources, two teams before the beginning of the tournament were shifted to a hotel, and after some time, they were again transferred to another hotel.

During the meeting, the PSL franchise owners expressed anger at PCB for not protecting the bio-secure bubble and allowing other events to take place at the hotel. The PCB, however, accepted its shortcomings at this.

PSL franchise owners spend millions of rupees to buy different national and international players for the tournament. On the other hand, the owners spend money like water for the promotion of their teams. They release the franchise’s official anthems every year, hire different celebrities as brand ambassadors, spend money on the cricket kit, and many more.

The postponing of PSL 6 has financially damaged the PSL franchise owners, which gave them the right to be angry at PCB.

Two players who tested positive for the virus are from Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
