Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has on Thursday lambasted the incumbent government after Prime Minister Imran Khan announced to seek the vote of confidence from National Assembly (NA) after PPP’s Yousaf Raza Gilani secured victory against PTI leader Hafeez Sheikh.

While addressing a rally in Islamabad, Maryam Nawaz said that the ones who tried to break PML-N have gone weaken now.

She further added, “I pay tribute to all 83 parliamentarians who accepted Nawaz Sharif’s narrative.”

“Our parliamentarians observed discipline and voted for Yousaf Raza Gilani,” added Maryam.

Speaking about her father, the PML-N leader added that Nawaz Sharif is a ‘trendsetter’.

“Whenever he decides to do something, the PML-N supremo does so,” she added.

Taunting the Prime Minister over his demand for vote of confidence, she said, “How could he seek a vote of confidence from his own people after accusing them of selling out for money?”

The Vice President questioned, “Where will you secure the vote of confidence of the masses, who defeated you in the recent by-elections?”

Maryam said that whenever the upcoming polls are held, the PML-N will sweep them.
