“Maryam Nawaz never read a book in her entire life”: Fawad Chaudhry

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has on Wednesday said that expecting wisdom from political novices like Maryam Nawaz would be like constructing a channel of milk.

In a tweet, Chaudhry said that Maryam Nawaz had never read a book in her life and she had no habit of reading and research.

He said all the stress of the PML-N leadership was to oppose Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Earlier, the PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz had said that as soon as the name of Nawaz Sharif is heard, the opponents tremble. Nawaz Sharif was ousted, the prime ministership was snatched away from him and a conspiracy was hatched to assassinate Nawaz Sharif in jail.

She had said that Imran Khan is conspiring to pledge Pakistan’s assets adding that Imran Khan is mortgaging the roads built by Nawaz Sharif.

She said that the cabinet meeting was planning how to stop Nawaz Sharif instead of public welfare.

“Nawaz Sharif knocks them in every election by sitting in London,” Maryam said.

Maryam Nawaz said, “today Nawaz Sharif is not alone, his daughter is standing like a soldier with him, Nawaz Sharif is also our pride and glory.”

He said that after losing the case of Occupied Kashmir, now Imran Khan’s eyes are on Azad Kashmir.

Maryam Nawaz said that the conspiracy to sell Kashmir was hatched in the United States.

He directed the PML-N supporters not to leave the polling stations till the result will announce to shun rigging.

The PML-N leader said that the Prime Minister was seeing his defeat in the next elections so he was talking about electoral reforms.

PDM Will Remain United On A Larger Agenda, Maryam Nawaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has on Monday (today) lambasted the incumbent government over demanding the resignation of the ECP chairman and its members.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has summoned a meeting on Tuesday, March 16 to review the matter of the resignations.

She added, “We will try to persuade those who do not agree to resign.”

“Pakistan will move towards a better future,” she added.

“The PDM is a coalition of 10 parties and remains united on a larger agenda,” she said, adding, “Tomorrow’s meeting will see what strategy the PML-N has to adopt”.

The PML-N leader went on to add, “The hope is that all PDM parties will understand the sensitivity of the situation.”

The video of a cute little girl and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz is doing rounds on social media and netizens are simple loving what they both discussed.

The little school girl was heard telling Maryam Nawaz that her teacher deducted her marks in the exam after she mentioned Nawaz Sharif as the country’s current Prime Minister in place of Imran Khan.

To which the PML-N leader replied, “Your dream to see Nawaz Sharif once again as prime minister would come true.”

She also tapped the girl’s shoulder and felt sorry for her deducted one mark.

However, Maryam Nawaz retweeted the video and captioned it as, “sweet angel”.

We are united on the Kashmir issue, says Maryam Nawaz

During the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Kashmir solidarity jalsa on Friday, PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz expressed solidarity with the Kashmiris and lashed out at PTI’s government over their “failed policies”.

“The election in Kashmir is coming soon — and the people demand that this ‘fake’ prime minister return us the Kashmir that was before August 5, 2019, or else resign.”

The PML-N leader said that Kashmiris needed Prime Minister the most and he was busy registering cases against Raja Farooq Haider, PM Azad Jammu, and Kashmir.

“It is unfortunate that whenever the fall of Kashmir is discussed, Imran Khan is also mentioned,” she said, asking what message did PM Khan had brought to the people of Kashmir.

“Did you bring the message for them that you had failed in your fight for them?” asked Maryam.

While addressing the PDM rally in Muzaffarabad, Maryam saluted the courage of Kashmiris and said that the entire nation is united on the Kashmir issue.

Maryam Nawaz sent a message to India that they can martyr as many Kashmiris as they can, kidnap the youth and make the elders captive, one day Kashmir will be free and independent.

PDM Larkana: “Imran Khan himself confesses that he’s incompetent”, Maryam Nawaz

Ahead of 11-party opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in Larkana on the occasion of Benazir Bhutto’s 13th death anniversary, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said the demise of Mohtarma Benazir is a national tragedy of Pakistan.

Addressing the large PDM Larkana gathering on Sunday, Maryam Nawaz thanked the masses over their warm welcome and also prayed for the departed souls of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

The demise of Mohtarma Benazir is not a wound only on your hearts, but this tragedy hurts us as well, said the PML-N leader. She also paid a glowing tribute to the shaheed father-daughter duo.

She further added, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif was among the few people who was informed about Benazir’s death.

“I love my father’s ideology, I love my country, Pakistan,” she said, adding despite being political rivals, the PDM leadership is united on one stage as a family.

Further targeting Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Vice President said, “Imran Khan is himself screaming and saying I don’t know anything.”

Imran Khan is himself confessing that he is incompetent, Maryam said.

Referring to the premier, she said, “One person seems to be standing alone, failing and losing.”

She once again hit out at the government over inflation and allegedly hiding behind the establishment, telling Prime Minister Imran Khan he was not fighting the PDM but the entire population of Pakistan.

“Your war is not with PDM but with the 220 million people of Pakistan whom you have struck like lightning,” she said while addressing the premier, adding that the people had “won” this war.

Maryam terms PTI govt. inhumane as she was fed ‘rat-contaminated food’ in jail

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President has claimed that she was fed ‘rat-contaminated food’ during her stay in Punjab’s Kot Lakhpat Jail.

In a recent talk with the journalists, Maryam Nawaz complained of the medication she was given in the prison, saying it was “not fit for use at all”.

“I was forced to take fungus-infected medicines in prison,” she claimed.

Earlier, Maryam had also alleged the installation of cameras in her jail cell.

Detailing about her grandmother, Begum Shamim’s death, who had passed away aged 89, the PML-N leader said she had spoken to her over video call two or three days before her death. “My grandmother’s memory had become weak,” she said.

“The last time I talked to my grandmother, she was asking if I had been released from jail; my grandmother thought I was still in prison,” Maryam said. She was released from jail in November 2019.
