Daler Mehndi falls for a fake tweet stating, his song helped Prince Harry. Since its release earlier this month, Prince Harry’s memoir Spare has generated a lot of interest. Various posts on the book, including parody ones, are being shared on social media.

It all started with a post by a Twitter account whose bio says “Everything I say is untrue and satire.” They jokingly shared a post sharing that Prince Harry listens to Jamaican dancehall artist Shenseea. The post prompted a wave of memes and similar shares. Instagram user @qualiteaposts took part in the trend and shared a post replacing Shenseea’s name with Daler Mehndi’s. “Prince Harry reveals the music artist he listened to in his lowest moments in new book ‘Spare’. ‘In the times I felt alone and separated from my family, I always took time to myself to sit back and listen to Daler Mehndi. His lyrics resonated with me and got me through a lot’,” they shared.

BTS: Do you know RM was obsessed with a punjabi song?

RM, a member of BTS shocked everyone after he told about the one Punjabi song he was obsessed with before debuting at the age of 14.

The song is none other than the famous track Tunak Tunak Tun by the legendary singer Daler Mehndi.

During an interview with an Indian news outlet in 2017, the BTS member RM revealed,

“I could say that the most famous Indian song in Korea is Tunak Tunak Tun. It’s really famous. I sang it when I was a middle school student when I was 14.”

Earlier, a German radio host faced backlash for criticizing Korean band BTS and comparing it to coronavirus.

Matthias Matuschik landed in hot water for his comments on the boyband.

Matuschik had apologized and said that he did not intend to “racially insult,” adding that making a connection between the band and Covid was “completely wrong”.

The station mentioned in a statement, “It is the character of this show and also of the presenter to express his opinion clearly, openly and unvarnished.”

It added that he “overshot the mark in his choice of words” and he did not intend to hurt the feelings of the BTS fans.

Matuschik said, “I have thought a lot in the past few hours and I understand and accept that I could have racially insulted many of you, especially the Asian community, with my words.

“That was never my intention, but I know that in the end, it is how the words are received by the recipients – and not how they were meant,” he added.
