Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who said to have committed suicide on June 15, had bipolar disorder and lived an extremely stressful life, the Mumbai police have learnt in the latest development.

Three psychiatrists and one psychotherapist were recently interrogated by Mumbai police in his suicide case. Sushant was treated by them in the last few months, reportedly for depression.

According to the details, one of the psychiatrists told the Mumbai police that Sushant was suffering from bipolar disorder. Others told police that the actor had a very stressful life but none opened up on the reason that led to depression.

The doctors also revealed that Sushant didn’t trust them and used to change psychiatrists after a couple of meetings.

Sushant had stopped taking his medicines for over two months and also did not act upon his doctors’ advice, reports said.

Earlier, a road and an intersection have been named after the actor to pay tribute to him.

The intersection that was earlier named as Ford Company Chowk has been renamed as Sushant Singh Rajput chowk. The road is now called the ‘Sushant Singh Rajput path’.

Omair Rana responds to LGS sexual harassment accusations

Pakistani showbiz star Omair Rana has addressed sexual harassment allegations made against him last month by students of the Lahore Grammar School.

Taking to Twitter, Omair Rana said that sexual harassment was a heinous crime and should be treated with the seriousness that it deserves.

“At the same time the dignity and respect of individuals must not be falsely tainted. The law provides remedies for all and I intend to take all steps necessary for the vindication of my constitutional and human rights and to protect myself,” he tweeted.

“For those who publish and fail to remove libelous material against me with an unconditional apology to me I will be approaching FIA under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act.”

Commenting on his Instagram post, actors Hina Bayat and Simi Raheal came out to support Rana.

Hina wrote: “In Allah we trust, and in Allah we put our faith to do right by us! May His divine hand bring out the truth, expose the falsehood and clear your name that you have worked so hard to build.”

Simi told Omair that he was one of the finest humans she knew. “Your respect for humans is impossible to overlook. You are kind empathetic respectful and enlightened… I have known you a long time…. you are my friend my children’s friend! We respect you and pray that Allah will guide you to expose the injustice and lies,” she said.

Pakistan’s head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq believes Pakistan’s side will be strengthened by pacer Mohammad Amir’s presence during the England tour.

“It is unfortunate that fast-bowler Haris Rauf continues to test positive for the coronavirus,” Misbah said while speaking in a video posted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). “We were waiting for him to recover and become available for the England fixtures.”

He said that the side was running out of time to prepare and therefore decided to include the experienced Amir for the three-match T20I series. He added that the left-arm pacer’s inclusion will strengthen the side for the England matches.

The cricketer had earlier ruled himself out of the tour due to the expected birth of his second child.

Mohammad Amir has twice tested negative for coronavirus in succession before he can be eligible for the England tour. The PCB conducted the first test on Monday.

Nawazuddin’s estranged wife writes about emotional, physical abuse by his family

Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife, Aaliya Siddiqui, has written an open letter and accused the actor and his family of emotional and physical abuse.

Taking to her Twitter account, she alleged that Nawaz tried to “assassinate her character” with the help of his “PR machinery”. She said that everything that had happened had made her a stronger woman.

According to the details, Aaliya said that it was not just her husband, his brothers and other members of the family also contributed to harassing her.

In the open letter, she claimed that she had to go through a lot in their marriage. She said that she won’t stay silent anymore because she wants to set the right example for her kids and others.

According to Aaliya aka Anjana, Nawaz was silent right now as his career, stardom, money and fame were at stake. She accused him of trying to “assassinate” her character but she was “more firm, more adamant” and that she refuses “to bow down” again.

Earlier, Nawazuddin Siddiqui had sent a legal notice to estranged wife, Aaliya. The actor’s notice alleges ‘engaging in fraud, willful and planned defamation’ and slander of character.

The notice adds that the actor had replied to Aaliya’s divorce notice on May 19, within 15 days.

Nawazuddin’s wife had reportedly complained in a recent interview that she is unable to pay her children’s school fees as Nawazuddin has stopped paying her the monthly allowance. The actor’s lawyer has rejected such claims.
