Sonam Kapoor shared a glimpse of her Mother’s Day celebration at her London residence on Sunday via Instagram Stories. The actor recently visited the UK, where March 19 is Mother’s Day, along with her spouse Anand Ahuja and son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. Sonam posted a video of the books that Anand gave her on the occasion, as well as a scene of her room being adorned with silver foil balloons. She also uploaded pictures of her presents.
Sonam wrote, “Best husband in the world, Anand Ahuja,” alongside a video of their bedroom that Anand Ahuja designed. Silver foil balloons with the word “mama” written on them were put on Sonam’s bed along with other gifts, while heart-shaped balloons could be seen in a corner close to the bed.
She referred to the novel in the video as “amazing” while saying it. On Instagram Stories, Sonam commented alongside the video, “Best gift to give me are books.” Sonam also showered Anand with affection in a string of Instagram Stories. It’s my first Mother’s Day, she wrote. Additionally, Anand Ahuja has excelled. I adore you, darling.
Sonam and Anand wed on May 8, 2018, after a few years of courting. On August 20, 2022, they received their son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. His birthplace was Mumbai. The actor relocated to the city after getting married and now resides in London with her family. Sonam divides her time between Mumbai and London.
Sonam’s most recent appearance was in the Vikramaditya Motwane-helmed Netflix movie AK vs. AK (2020). In the thriller, Sonam appeared alongside her sibling Harshvardhan Kapoor and father actor Anil Kapoor. In it, Anil and Anurag Kashyap portray fictionalised versions of themselves. Sonam’s next appearance will be in the Hindi movie Blind, in which she portrays a blind policewoman on the hunt for a serial killer. The Shome Makhija-directed movie’s production was finished in 2021.
